Kakure

Jewel shook her head. "I'm not sleepy though. I feel wide awake." she said to him. "Please Seth, let me stay up. I'll sleep some more later today. Besides, I'm hungry." Jewel slowly stood up with a sigh, her hands still holding onto his.

Seth couldn't say no to her. "Alright, lets go and get something to eat....hopefully the old man isn't cooking anything," he said and looked over his shoulder as if expecting Oak to be standing right behind him with a frown. He knew how the professor cooked, it was all very dull.

Jewel giggled softly and nodded slightly. "Be nice Seth." she said softly but she kissed him on the cheek when he turned to look over his shoulder. "Come on. Lets go." She smiled up at him and chuckled.

He took her hand, leading her to the kitchen. Oak must have been asleep or still in the lab because the kitchen was untouched. He decided he'd better make a decent breakfastfor the old man as well. "So what do you want?" he asked her. H knew Oak stocked everything, expecially anything healthy, it seemed the old man wanted to live as long as possible so he could continue studying the world.

She squeezed his hand after he took it and smiled up at him as she followed him into the kitchen. "Can we have some eggs?" she asked him while sitting down at the table in the kitchen. She could smell the professors scent in the kitchen but it wasn't as strong as it was around the lab which told her that he spent most of his time in the lab working.

Seth nodded, and going to the fridge he found the carton of eggs right away."Nothing seems to have changed," he said as he looked around, half expecting the place to look completely different from when he had left it about half a year ago.

Jewel turned in the seat she was in and watched him get out the carton of eggs while smiling gently, her ears twitching a couple of times. "What do you mean?" she asked softly, resting her head on her hands with a grin. "Did you expect everything to of changed?"

He nodded "Normally Oak will cange things around, he gets bored sometimes," he said. "So how do you want your eggs?"

"He gets bored? Even with all that research you said he's always doing?" she asked him curiously. She couldn't imagine how the older man could get bored with so many pokegirls to study and do research on, but she supposed that after so long of doing something could get boring. "Can they be scrambled please?" she asked with a smile. "So, what will we be doing today?" As she spoke, she subconsciously reached up and began rubbing one of her ears.

"Well, Oak said he wanted to run test on you, but before that I could showyou around the facility," he told her. He scrambled the eggs, making some toast to go along with them.

Jewel smiled gently and nodded. "Okay. I'd like a little tour around the facility. You can show me what you usually do when you're here." she said. She could smell the scrambled eggs and it made her stomach growl softly.

He served th plates "Breakfast is ready," he said as he set hers in front of her. "And to be honest I didn't do much when I was here, I just assisted Oak, and looked at the pokegirls," he said to her. Oak had a wide assortment of them after all.

She turned in her seat as he set the plates down. "Thank you." she said gently before beginning to eat. "Is that all? Sounds like a rather easy life then." As Jewel ate, she felt a strange feeling in her chest right beneath the spot where she had been hit with that gun the day before, but it wasn't enough to really grab her attention and tell Seth about it. If it got worse, she would tell Seth or Professor Oak.

He nodded in agreement "It was, though of course when a heard of Tuaros got loose it wasn't...every now and then a few pokegirls might get out and some where rather good at causing problems," he said with a small fond smile as he remembered a few things. "Also when it comes to Team Rocket, they've been around before, though never those three....I wasn't here when they had the brilliant idea of trying to steal from the facility."

"I don't like Team Rocket. Not one bit." she murmured softly, remembering the last run in they had with the group. It was anything but pleasant. Taking a couple more bites of her breakfast, she looked up at him and smiled after swallowing. "Well, other then helping Professor Oak and looking after the pokegirls, what did you do in your free time?"

"Drew alot, took pictures, if Oak ever fonds the album I'm sure he would show it to you," he said."Other then that I just read a lot, being an orphan was rather different so I wasn;t used to much interaction, though I knew Ash and Gary rather well, though Gary was a but of a dick, and Ash can be a bit...overexcited."

Her smile slowly grew as he spoke about drawing and taking pictures. "I didn't know that you liked to do those things." she said with a soft giggle. "You've spoken about this Ash person. What's he like? Other then being overexcited? Does he have any pokegirls?" She pushed her food around a bit with her fork and took another bite while waiting for his reply.

"Yeah, Bill had this old broken camera that he let me have, I tinkered with it and got it to work so I ended up using it a bit...I still do," he said. Upon the requst to hear about Ash he was silent as he chose his words. "Ash has...that sort of personality where he doesn;t think, and rather then going with his mind, he goes with his gut, which at times leads him to failures, but he is resilient and keeps trying and ends up succeeding," he said. "As for his pokegirls...he has a pikagirl that always is with him, those two are very close, it;s rare to see them apart," he said "as for the rest, he has a charizard, a bulbasaur, he had a squirtle, and his charizard is off training....he had an Aipom...a chikorita, totodile, cyndaquil..." he went through the list. "He recently caught a Turtwig, which is a Sinnoh pokemon,I heard about it before I had set out to Sinnoh."

The pokegirl listened to her companion speak, ears perked up a little and an amused look in her eyes. "He sounds like a fun person to be around." she said softly. "One of those truly kind and passionate people that you can sort of rely on." She was a little surprised to hear such a list of pokemon that the other male had but then again, Ash was a trainer and she shouldn't be surprised because that's what trainers did. They collected pokemon. "Where is he now?" she asked gently.

"Still in Sinnoh...I hear Brock met up with him recently, and some girl named Dawn...I can only guess it's a repeat Misty," he said without eximplaining what that ment. "He wants to become the Sinnoh league champion...I hadplanned to meet up with him if possible to say hi and tell him the Professor is eager to see any knew pokegirls he caught," he said. "Of course...with the run in with team galactic and rocket plans had to change."

Jewel looked a little confused when he said 'a repeat Misty' but she brushed it off, figuring that he just meant Ash had another companion. "I'm sure he has what it takes to become the Sinnoh League champion." she replied before nodding slowly with a sigh at the mention of plans changing. "We can always go meet up with them later if you wish to. I think it would be interesting to meet someone like him."

Seth nodded "Yes your right, but first we need to deal with the bigger issues, which is mostly Galactic, as it seems Team rocket don't have a need for the orbs, and if these orbs have something to do with Pakia and Dialga, it would be best if we hide them for good, or got rid of them," he said as he finished his breakfast.

Jewel took a bite of her toast before nodding with a sigh. "You're right. If you wish to be rid of them, I know the perfect place to put them." she said softly. "It's a secret place that only certain pokegirls know about." She finished her breakfast and stood up, carrying her plate over to the sink where she quickly washed it. "Though it would be quite the hike to get there."

"You'll need to show me thisplace, but later...Oak still wants to examine the orbs," he said to her. Of course he doubted any hiding place would keep galactic out, they would have technology and machines that could probably take them into space if not more.

"Of course. I think you'd like this place. It's pretty." she said as she moved back over to the table. Sitting down again, she glanced down at her chest where the fur had been burned from the ray gun and lightly touched it, a blush filling her face when she felt her skin beneath her fingers. To her it was almost the same as a human being naked. It made her rather uncomfortable. But what she didn't realize was that the fur that would start to grow in there at the spot would not be blue. Instead it would be the warm tawny brown from her pre-evolved state, the eevee.
