Kakure

After a yawn and a stretch he gently looked at the mond that was her. "Jewel, feeling okay? It's time to wake up," he told her gently. He wondered what might be wrong, normally she woke up when he would.

Jewel slowly turned her head and peeked up at him from behind her ear. "My head hurts." she said though her words were muffled by her arm and her pillow. "And my ears are ringing." She sighed and turned her head once again, hiding her face into the pillow after closing her eyes.

Seth once again grew worried. "Hold on," he told her and got up to get the Professor. He came back a few minutes later with the old man to look at her. He told Oak what she just said minutes ago.

Jewel just nodded and snuggled down into the covers once again. She had just fallen back asleep when Seth returned with Professor Oak who listened to what the young man had to say before moving over to the pokegirls side. Sitting next to her, he leaned down and whispered to her, asking her to roll over. Slowly she complied and turned over onto her back to gaze up at Oak and Seth. Gently gripping her chin, Oak turned her face side to side while gazing into her half opened eyes before checking her ears. "Hmm, did you dry your ears completely last night Jewel?" he asked while looking in her other ear the placing a temperature pad on her forehead to check her temperature.

The pokegirl looked thoughtful before slowly nodding. "I think so." she said softly. "Or at least I could of sworn I did."

Seth wondered what it could be. For some reason he didn;t think it was an ear infection or anything Oak might be thinking, after all Jewel had bathed before, he doubted she would have forgotten to dry off, expecially her sensative ears of all things.

"I was rather tired last night after getting out of the shower." she said softly. "I had even forgotten to grab clothes which I usually don't do..... So I guess it's possible I might not of dried them as thoroughly as I usually do." She yawned and looked up at Seth with a small smile. She could see the concern in his eyes and it let her know that he cared.

Oak slowly nodded. "I think that when you were attacked you might have gotten some dirt or small bits of rock in your ear." he murmured while removing the patch from her forehead. "And when you washed it probably scratched the inside of your ear which is a little red and inflamed. I'm thinking that maybe a little water got trapped in there. It's not infected, just irritated and sore. I'll have Blissy bring you some medicine and it should help." He stood up and smiled at the two. "But if these headaches continue or get worse, I want you to come see me immediately."

(She is supposed to like, get sick and not be able to accompany him or somethingh right?)

Seth seemed a little more at ease from Oaks explination, it made some sense, though he still wondered why now it was hurting, but he wasn;t a doctor, far from it so he would just take the old mans words.

(Yup)

Oak nodded slightly and turned, walking out of the room and leaving them alone. Jewel slowly pushed herself up so that she was sitting up, some of her blue hair falling in her eyes as she leaned back against the headboard. "I'll be fine Seth. Don't you worry too much."

Seth nodded "I'm just afraid what ever that thing was it might have actually done something," he told her. "Besides you don't seem to good all of a sudden," he said. She was still just as caring, but she seemed to be lacking the usual energy she had before.

Jewel nodded in understanding while smiling at him. "I know you are." she replied. She looked down at herself when he said she didn't seem to good all of a sudden and she arched her eyebrow. "How so?" she asked. "Don't feel any different other then the head ache." Suddenly the door opened and the blissy from the night before entered with two small bottles. Padding over to the bed, she carefully measured out one medicine and gave it to Jewel. While the glaceon swallowed the medicine, the blissy rubbed some of the other medicine into her ears.

Seth only watched, they would need to prepare for the trip back to Sinnoh. After all his employer was there, luckily he had no real deal line so he could quickly come up witha good excuse as to why it had taken him a little longer then he had planned, if the question came up.

Jewel softly thanked the blissy and watched her leave the room before stretching a little with a sigh. "When will we be leaving again?" she asked him. "I'm in no hurry, I'd just like to know." She reached up and gently rubbed her ears before lowering her hands again with a sigh.

Seth shrugged "To be honest wanted to leave as soon as possible,"he said. "I need to contact my employer and mostlikely head back to Sinnoh.

Jewel nodded slowly with an understanding smile. "I was kind of hoping you would say that." she said with a chuckle. "I rather enjoy traveling even though the beds aren't very comfortable." she said with a grin.

He smiled "The company is though," he said gently to her. "Though Oak said he might need to test you, so sppose all can do now is wait until then," he said to her.

She sighed and pouted slightly. "Yeah, I guess you're right. Doesn't mean you can't start planning ahead though." she replied. She reached up and rubbed the back of one of her ears, gently massaging it before shaking her head slightly. "My ears are starting to feel better and my headache's going away."

(Be back in about an hour or so, I'm heading out for home.)

(Ok. I may or may not be on, it depends but i should be on later when i get back home)

He nodded, what she said was true. "Thats good...maybe it was only just an infection," he said glad to see that medicine seemed to work.

(My rides not here yet so I'll just sit and post until it does. ^.^)

Jewel slowly pushed back the covers that were still partially covering her and she sat up the rest of the way with a soft yawn. "So, what are we going to do today?" she asked him.

"Not sure, if anything need to decide on what to brin I suppose," he said thoughtfully. He looked at her, the image making him smie and his pulse beat a little faster.

"Well, I know that we'll have to bring along a small sewing kit so that if anything gets torn, it can be mended." she said with a nod. While they had been on the cruise before it was attacked, Jewel had become friends with a kind elderly couple and the woman had taught her how to mend clothing with Jewel enjoyed doing alot. She moved closer to him, crawling towards the edge of the bed and sitting down.

Seth nodded and kept that n mind, making a mental lit o what would be needed. "Okay then, of course we need to essential too," he ment like bottles, tent, all the usual things.

Jewel reached out and gently grasped his hand in hers, pulling him closer to her with a small smile, her thumb caressing the back of his hand. "How long has it been Seth?" she asked softly. "How long has it been since you saved me from dieing?"

Seth had to think about this for a second. "A few months....four," he said, not exactly sure, but he knew it was a good long time. At least it felt that way to him.

Jewel smiled gently and softly kissed his knuckles, nuzzling his hand a little. "It feels like so much longer though." she said, gazing up into his eyes, her wide green and brown eyes gazed up at him. Though she had evolved into a blue glaceon, oddly her eyes remained the same color that they were in her eevee form. As she looked up into his eyes, he would be able to see the affection she had for him but he would also be able to see an unexplained tiredness as well.

Seth smiled at her "Yeah it does," he said in agreement. He could see her eyes, there emotions where clear as day. "Jewel, you seem to be a bit tired, why don't you sleep a bit more, I can list everything and such," he suggested to her. He didn't want her to be tired, after all they would need to travel and they needed to be well rested.
