Kakure

Jewel nodded as she padded over to where he stood and she rested her head against his shoulder. "Yes, I'm feeling much better." she replied. She gazed up at the picture and studied it a little before looking up at Seth again. "When we were in Snowpoint City, I asked a woman about them while you were getting some supplies. I saw a small statue in the window of her shop and asked about it."

The professor had jumped as well when Jewel spoke and he turned to look at her, blushing a little when he saw that she was naked. After a moment, he cleared his throat and nodded. "Yes, that is one of the beliefs." he said, confirming what she just said.

"So Palkia and Dialga are gods that are worshipped in Sinnoh," he said. "Now it makes some sense as to why galactic wants the orbs, I just dont see how they can help unless they can be used to call upon them."

The professor turned back to the computer and began looking at the pictures again. "No, not gods. Just very old, very strong pokemon." he replied. "These orbs are hundreds of years old. I shall do my best to figure out what they are and what they were used for. In the mean time however, I'd like to do some of those tests. We can do the physical ones tomorrow when you're both rested. Right now I just want to draw a little blood and do a small check up."

Jewel nodded slightly and gazed up at her companion with a small smile. He was so smart and she was always learning something from him and he was so kind.

Seth nodded to the professors request. "Alright," he said, though he felt himself getting eager, he wanted to lay down with her, to just let his mind wonder and thin of what had transpired.

Jewel padded over to the bed that she had woken up on and Oak followed her, watching as she got up onto the bed before calling in one of his own pokegirls. A moment later a pretty Blissey entered the room with a small tray of medical supplies. "I'm just going to draw a little blood and then check a few reflexes, then you two can go sleep." he said as he moved over to Jewels side with the pokegirl. Slipping on a pair of gloves, he looked over the items that his pokegirl brought out. "May I see your arm please?" Jewel nodded with a small smile and held out her arm to him, watching in curiosity as he located a vein in the inside of her elbow before flinching a little when he pushed the needle into her arm and drew three vials of blood before removing the needle again and pressing a cotton ball against her elbow.

After that, he went through a series of reflex tests and the normal tests done during a pokegirl check up before nodding with a small smile. "There you go. All done." he said as he removed his gloves and stepped back from her. "Now you two can go and rest. I'm sure you're both tired from everything that's happened."

Seth watched, glad to see Jewel didn't seem to bothered by the professor. He was half expecting the Professor to gasp and say something was wrong, but he was glad when the testing went off without a hitch. "Thanks professor," he said to Oak bfore helping jewel off the bed. He decided to go to his old room and lead the way.

Jewel slid down from the bed with Seths help and smiled up at him, slipping her hand into his before looking up at the older man and smiling. "See you later Professor Oak." she said gently before turning and following Seth out of the lab. She remained close to him and kissed Seth on the cheek as they left the room.

"How are you feeling Jewel?" he asked her, still concerned about what the ray might have done to her. She seemed fine, save for the burn spot she had now. He found it wierd that mark wouldn't go away, normally after being healed all marks went away, unless they where untreated for to long.

"I'm a little sleepy." she said gently before covering her mouth and yawning. "But other then that I feel fine." She looked up at him and offered him a sleepy smile as she walked next to him. "I think after a good nights rest I'll be back to normal."

He nodded "Alright then," he said smiling back gently. He hoped preofessor oak would tell him nothing was wrong. In his old room he looked around, the maps he had where still hung, everything seemed to be in place.

As they enter his room, she looked around curiously with a small smile, her eyes gazing all around at the maps on the walls and the other items in the room. "So this is your room?" she said while moving around slowly, looking at everything with a small smile. She didn't even have to ask. His scent, although faint, was all over the room.

H nodded "Yep," he said looking at the samples of rocks on the shelves, a few where quiet pbviously thunger, fire, and water stones that he'd found. Binoculars hung off a chair as another heavier looking bag was against the wall. His room was however clean and well kept.

She moved over to the bed and sat down with a small smile, folding her hands in her lap. "It looks like you've been to a lot of different places and seen many things." she said, her ears twitching as she turned her gaze onto him with a smile.

He nodded "I've been all over Kanto, breifly in Johto and now been to Sinnoh," he said to her. The three largest maps where if the three continents. "I havent been everywhere though...like the bottum of the ocean...yet," he added hoping to go someday.

Glancing at the maps on the wall, she slowly stood and walked over to them. She knew that they had only been to certain parts of Sinnoh and that there were plenty more places to go and see which she hoped that they would see together. "Those people that attacked us.... they seemed like a bunch of clowns, didn't they?" she asked, turning to look at him with a grin and a soft laugh.

Seth went and sat on the bed. He nodded at her observation "Yes, when Ash came by a few months ago he told Oak about those three, they seem to want his Pikachu a lot, though they never succeed and at times go after other pokemon," he said to her. "Though they seem rather harmless at times, there have been a few close calls...not to mention though, team Galactic seems very serious in what they are doing." He once again thought of the orbs "I don't know why they would want those orbs, but if it's them then it can't be too good," he said finally. "I wonder if they are trying to call Palkia and Dialga?"

Jewel shook her head in amusement and softly laughed. "Seems that they're not too successful at doing their job." she said softly before frowning slightly at the mention of Galactic. Those weird people with the strange clothes and hair. She shook her head and moved to sit next to him. "They certainly are an eccentric bunch of people." she murmured. "And it's a good thing we got to the orbs before them. What ever they want or need the orbs for, it can't be good and it's most likely very very dangerous."

"Yeah your right," he said to her in agreement. He however sighed and turned, kissing her cheek gently. "Well we've had a rough day, or days," he said "lets get some sleep Jewel, and try not to think about all this until morning," he said. Sleep would do them some good, he was sure they would need to get going soon, with the orbs here he had to be sure to deliver the pictures of the things he'd seen to his employer, he decided that the orbs would remain a secret though.

Jewel murred happily when he kissed her cheek and she nodded happily. "Wonderful idea." she said before yawning softly. "I could use some sleep." She smiled tiredly before turning onto her hands and knees, crawling a little further over on the bed so that they could both lay down. The pokegirl pushed down the covers of the bed and climbed under, waiting for him to join him with a small smile on her lips.

Seth got under the covers with her, pulling them over them both as he did. "Good night Jewel," he told her gently, yawning slightly as he did. After the rush from the mountans fatigue was getting the better of him now.

Jewel moved close to him and kissed him lightly on the lips. "Good night Seth." she whispered to him. Curling up against his side, she closed her eyes and began to fall asleep. Little did she know that the next morning she wouldn't be back to normal like she thought she would be.

Seth fell asleep, the night was peaceful, and the familiar sensation of being in his own bed kept him in deep sleep. The morning sun rose though, and an alarm went off in the room waking him up.

Jewel fell into a deep peaceful sleep next to him, her head resting on his shoulder and one of her hands on his stomach while her tail became draped over his waist sometime during the night. The next morning, she woke with the alarm and it caused her to groan and cover her ears.

Seth rolled over a little, and hit the alarm, wheather he had hit the button or not it didn't seem to matter as the noise suddenly stopped. He laid down once more before deciding it was time to get up and sat up.

Jewel remained laying there, turning over onto her stomach to bury her face into the pillow with her ears still covered. It seemed that even though the noise was gone, it was still ringing in her ears as she laid there with her eyes closed tightly. She felt Seth moving next to her and groaned again, knowing that he was getting up.
