"So, what should we do now? It is still the middle of the day." Derrek said as they had time to kill before dark took over the land.
 
She smiles softly. "I feel like going riding." She says to him softly. "If it makes you feel better we'll take others to protect us." She says to him softly as she puts on her robe.
 
Derrek looked at her for a moment. "Well, if we stick around the castle we shouldn't worry about guards." Derrek said to her as he wanted to be just with her right now. Derrek wondered how the heck she was gonna get him to become king. Since she isn't able to change the rules of the old unless she went about many things. The only way he thought he could do it is if he were a knight which he wasn't.
 
She smiles at him softly and kissed him on the lips. "I'll dress and we'll have a few guards with us since I wish to go to the lake." She says to him softly and started walking towards her room.
 
Derrek nodded as he waited for her to change. Though, as she did this he made preparations for her escort to the lake. Soon there were three armor clad guards ready outside of the castle. Derrek also got the horses prepped for the ride. Derrek went to her door and knocked on it. “Are you ready my Queen?” Derrek said in a loud and firm voice.
 
She smiled as she comes out wearing a servant dress. It wasnt fancy since she didnt want anyone to realize she was the Queen outside of the castle. "Yes, I am." She says to him as she slips her feet into her shoes that matches the dress. She wraps her arms around his neck and kisses his forehead.
 
Derrek wrapped his arms around her and kissed her lips. With that he led her outside with the escort to meet her. Derrek helped her on her horse while he got on his after. The escort then began to depart as the strolled through the city as he kept close to her. The city people were wondering why the guards escorted the servants but, they just guess they were going to scout the area or something for enemies.

"So how are you my...I mean Esme." Derrek said to her with a smile.
 
She smiled and looked at Derrek. "I'm doing wonderful, Derrek." She says to him as she hunched instead of like a Queen should of sit on a horse. She reached for his hand but ended up pointing to the market. "Oh look, we should grab some food for us." She says to him as she looks at him with a smile. It was clear she hardly got out of the castle walls.
 
Derrek could only smile at this. "Sure we can get some food." Derrek said to her as the escort stopped by the market. Then Derrek began to buy various foods that they could eat. Of course he got food for the guards as well. Soon enough their horses were packed with food for them to eat. Derrek got back on his saddle as he rode by Esme. Derrek looked at the clear sky with a smile. "It is a perfect day isn't it Esme." Derrek said trying to get the feel for calling her that.
 
She smiles as she looks up at the sky as well. "It looks perfect." She says to him softly and she looked down at the everything in the market. She tossed her leg over the sattle and jumped down onto the ground. She handed her horse strap to the guard that was close to her and she walked forward towards the small show for the children. She was actually excited to be out of the castle and with her villagers. She let out a small laugh at the play and noticed the children laughing as well.
 
Derrek smiled at Esme as she watched the kids. Derrek just watched from afar as he saw how happy she was. Derrek almost frown at the thought since maybe she would be happy without the title of Queen. Though if she wasn't Queen could she really survive in the world? Derrek didn't know but, didn't have to worry cause she had him no matter what.
 
She looked down at a little girl who wasnt laughing and bent down so she could look her in the eyes. "Why so sad, little one?" She asked her.
The little girl looked at Esme and then looked down. "My parents were killed." She said softly in a sad voice. Those word had put daggers in Esme's heart. She picked up the little girl and held her close.
"Shh. I'll take care of you." She says to the little girl as she walks back to the horses with the guards and Derrek. Esme's eyes had turned to a firing color which meant she had just gotten mad. She helped the girl up onto the horse and got up on the horse as well behind the little girl. "Lets go." She says as she turns her horse around and started heading back towards the castle.
 
Derrek heard the words of the girl which hit home to him. Considering the fact he was an Orphan from the wars. "Ok." Derrek said as he guided the guards back to the castle. Derrek was happy the Queen would do such a generous task for the poor girl. Though it was sad she couldn't do it for ever orphan.
