*struggling to watch anything or finish a series*
Started on boys diabolical series

Dragons (got better, almost stopped after that "c section")
Sandman (frankly i love it but it's SO gory and shocking)
Rings (I disagree with characterization)
French show about people who cook shit

Between Sailor Moon Stars, and Bee and Puppycat, I am caught up on my cutesy magical girl shows.

American Gigolo
Very promising start. A different sort of look of at seedy nightlife and sex trade from the prospective of a male escort. Looks to be building into a kinda crime-thriller sort of story. I'm enjoying Rosie O'Donnell is this. Her performance is a bit over the top and hammy, but also somehow very believable. Jon Bernthal is giving another Jon Bernthal performance, so you'll either love it or hate it.

The Serpent Queen
A period drama about Catherine de' Medici. Very engrossing protagonist, which is very fitting considering the woman it's about. Good performances all around, and plenty of lavish sets and costuming as one would expect from a period drama set in 16th century Italy and France. I'm hoping this one will hold my interest like other shows set during or around Renaissance Italy.

Cyberpunk Edgerunners, on Episode 3-ish.

Is it just me or does everything feel like one big blur? Not in a (completely) bad way, just the "what the fuck is happening and why should I care for the MCs?" kind. Guess I'll have to keep watching.

Primal S2

Actually a massively disappointing finale for an otherwise excellent show. Genndy fucked up hard by having one episode have nothing to do with the ongoing story. He needed one more episode to set that ending up, and he didn't deliver. Probably one of the most uncomfortable sex scenes in a show I've ever seen lmao. I was actually cringing.

Andor.

Ep 1-2 were kinda eh. Lots of set up that
really fucking paid off in episode 3. I can see why they released the first 3 eps as a batch because if it was a weekly release for all 3 it would have lost a lot of subs I feel. But episode 3 was so fucking tense you could cut the tension with a knife. The imperial boyscout dude basically getting shellshocked at what should have been a simple operation was really good. Also I think it's the first time anyone in star wars has ever said 'Shit' before.

The pilot episode of that new show about Jeffrey Dahmer that recently released on Netflix.

Disturbing, to say the least, and I had no idea he was caught so recently. (If 1991, by your reckoning, is "recent" 😂)

watched the first three episodes of "the Bear"

I'm absolutely in love with this show, can't wait to see the rest. (it's on hulu in the states, disney+ in canada!)
