"..I see"Aida said,understanding a little"I-I apologize...for being so forceful" she said as she went to the bathroom to get her night gown"W-Will you still stay here...with me?"she said when she came back out and sat on the bed.
 
"I will, Princess." Alex nodded, saddened by knowing that the Pricnes was probably not at all satisfied. "I'm sorry... I just... I don;t know..." Alex sighed and sat down, burying the golden locks and the face they framed in those metal gauntlets. "I just don't want to mess up with you."
 
"Yes, Princess." Alex bowed as best as possible from the sitting position. Now the knight couldn't stop thinking about the princess' body and being so forward. It was bringing a blush to the knight's cheeks.
 
The knight fell asleep a bit quicker than the princess, almost immediately once she laid down. Alex was tried from trying to stay awake so much.
 
Aida woke in the morning but stayed in place as she stared at the knight again.She blushed a deep red as she remembered what happened last night,feeling really embarrassed by her forcefulness.
 
The Knight shifted a little, almost tipping over again. Alex's lips were pursed out a little, and the hair hung down just so, giving the knight a moment of incredible femininity in the soft morning light.
 
Alex woke, slowly opening to see the princess looking. "Good morning Princess." There was a faint smile on the knight's face. Though the knight was very distressed.
 
"Good morning Sir Alex"Aida said as she sat up,a wide smile on her face as she got out of bed and to the bathroom to clean up for the day.She came back out a few minutes later"Are you ready Sir?"she said as she hooked her arm with his.
 
Alex nodded, ready as ever. Where the princess went, so would her Knight. Well, bathrooms being the exception. "I am ready, Princess."
 
Aida just nodded as she smiled up at the knight then led him back out to the carriage.She was happier than she thought she would be returning from the trip.Perhaps it was because she unexpectedly found love.
 
The rest of the tip took only half the day, and they returned without incident. When they arrived, Alex escorted the princess to her parents, and was dismissed for the rest of the day. So that they could talk about what happened.

Alex went to the barracks and got the armor stripped away for a long, well-needed bath.
 
Aida stood in front of her parents"Well....I'm afraid I...refused the prince's proposal"she said then smiled at what she's about to say"But I have chosen a suitor.It's Sir Alex"


King Melchior arched an eyebrow at his daughters announcement"hmmm.....well he's a strong and noble man"he said,thinking it over"Very well.I accept your decision.I trust he will make an excellent husband for you"
 
Alex was quite unaware. The knight was simply taking a long, hot bath, running slender hands over her shapely and toned body. Her. Alex was female. She'd been raised like a boy for her father's sake, and fought in the military alongside them all. Her promotion to knight was under the thought that Alex had been a boy. For years, it had been a long lie. She hoped the princess fell out of love with "him" though. Because they couldn't be together like this.
 
Alex got out of the bath and dried off. Then came the long task of bandaging down her ample chest to keep it from being noticeable under the chainmail. She would be able to get away with just wearing greaves and a chestplate over the chainmail dress. She set the flower next to her bed and looked at it softly as she just laid in bed, not wanting to go anywhere.
 
"Uh... I'm not decent right now!" Alex called out and started to scramble to get a breastplate on. She needed to keep her secret so she was rushing to find things.
 
Alex came out finally in the chestplate and greaves, looking more lively after the bath and getting to wear easier gear. "Princess... What can I do for you?"
 
Aida smiled as she wrapped her arms around Sir Alex's neck,hugging him close"He said yes"she said,knowing full well that the knight knew what she was talking about"We can be together"Aida closed her eyes as she rested her chin on the knight's shoulders.She has never been happier in her entire life than she was now.
