Welcome to Atlantis Academy! (Lia && Chokuro)

He literally felt his heart break. The sight when he'd walked into the kitchen made him suspect, but the words confirmed it and there was an exploding pain in his chest. Tears formed, and Calder's bottom lip quivered, and before any more could be said, the blond turned and left the kitchen to pack. There was no way he was going to stay here after this, and despite his not wanting to, he had to take pity on the physical state that Rune was in. Besides, he figured if he told Rune to get out, the asshole would just go next door. At least if he left, he could go to Avalon... Or not. Going to the place that they had built together made his heart hurt more. In the end, the blond slammed the front door behind him and took a car, heading towards the school for the time being.

Rune could not fight it. He tried to chase after the other. Hobbling after him. WAnting to tell him to stay an d he would go, but the shooting pain in his back and everything made him stop. He gripped the wall, hearing the car and he pressed his head into the wall. "Fuck." He sighed an d turned to waddle to the other side. He walked up to Tanner and Relic and shook his brother-in-law awake with a groan. "Go to... Go find Calder! I fucked up. Go... Go make sure he's okay!" He mumbled and shook him a few more times, wanting to get him to get up and do it. "I'm stupid. Just... Please do it!"

Groaning, Tanner swated the hand away from his shoulder. "Go away..." But Rune persisted and the blond finally opened his eyes. "Oh shit..." He sat up. "What the fuck happened to you?" He pushed Relic awake and got out of the bed. "Talk while I get dressed. And sit down for God's sake." The blond moved to the dresser to pull on a pair of jeans and a shirt.

Rune groaned and moved to his knees, laying his weight against the bed. "I was a retard! We fought. I drank. I fucked someone not Calder!" he whimpered, hating himself for even saying it. He buried his head into his arms, actual tears forming in his eyes. "FUCK! He just wanted to move to Ireland! That's all that he wanted to fucking do... Not Iceland or Japan or whatever else... Just Ireland! And I freaked the fuck out and. .. oh my god I fucking suck. Just... Just make sure he's okay! I don't care if he hates me. Just make him okay."

Tanner stopped and turned to Rune, staring at him. "You...what?" He couldn't believe it. After the big fight they'd had when they were still in Atlantis over Relic and Rune sleeping together... Well this was the last thing that the blond expected. "So... You went out and fucked someone, because your husband wanted a change of scenery?" he asked, trying to get it all straight in his head, because it wasn't making any sense to him. "You'll be really lucky to not lose him." Tanner left the house in search of his friend. There were only so many places that he could go; that he would go. The blond started closest to home and made his way out towards the school about an hour after beginning his search.

"You think I don't know that?!" He hissed, glaring at him and growling a little bit more. "It's not like I took my fucking ring off! Or he said anything when I kept calling him Calder. So shut the fuck up and go make sure he's okay! I don't care if he hates me. I just want him OKAY!" He growled and then stood up with a huff. "I'm going to fucking shower." He hissed and walked out of the room, slamming the door. He just wanted to be by himself. Sink into the water and forget how stupid he had been.

Relic sighed, shaking his head a few times. He really felt horrible about this whole thing. He did not want Rune's marriage to go down the tubes! Calder was the only man who could deal with that shit!

Calder had expected Tanner, or Relic. He was glad that it was Tanner, though, and the blond sank into his friend's comforting arms and just let it all go. He sobbed as the pain in his chest over-took him. "Why?" he finally asked, as Tanner had just sat there in silence, carding his fingers through his hair. The other blond just shrugged, and it was the answer that Tanner had expected. Only Rune could answer the question and he wasn't ready to face his husband at this point.

Rune sighed. He bathed. He washed the other man's scent off him numerous times, wanting to be sure that it would be gone completely. He could not go to bed. He took one of the very few free rooms and curled up in it, sleeping soundly and trying to make this whole thing a little bit better. Perhaps he should go somewhere so that Calder could stay here. Stay with the kids. He just hated himself right now. He hated himself more than anything. He was stupid. HE was very stupid.

It took him a few more hours of sleeping, but he soon woke up and went searching through the internet. Right leg draped over his left while he looked over everything and cruised over the different houses in Ireland that were available, making sure to get something grand that would make his love happy. IT would be a start, he figured. A start for him to let the other know that he truly was stupid. He even looked in other countries. Still in Europe, but he went through the England countryside. Scotland. France. A few places in Venice just because there were a few houses that he wound up squealing at.

The next day, he took a folder filled with the houses he was looking at and attached a note to the front of it. 'I know sorry is not enough. And that neither is this, but I hope it's a start. And that you know I will do everything and anything to make you happy and to forgive me. I am so sorry, Calder. I love you, even if I am the stupidest man alive.' With that, he slid the folder under the door to his office and then hopped out to go home and sit and wait.

Calder was so torn, and didn't sleep at all. He was angry at Rune, and hurt. And he knew that he shouldn't trust the other man. But the blond did trust him. He knew that Rune wouldn't willfully hurt him, especially not like this. But Calder couldn't help the betrayal that ran through his veins, and the broken heart that only half beat in his chest as he washed and got ready for a day of plastering a smile on his face for his students. The blond avoided his office, or any other place that his husband could be sitting and waiting for him. He wasn't ready for that confrontation.

Sliding into the house after having stayed out all night with Honey, Cas moved to go shower and get ready for school, but stopped in the kitchen and sniffed. It didn't smell right. As horrible as it was, he knew when his parents had had sex, because he could smell it. This didn't smell like his papa. The blue haired teen wandered through the house until he found his mama. "Mama?" he asked, stepping into the room a little further. "What happened?"

Rune perked up, looking over at Cas and he groaned. "Damnit. Why'd a dog follow me home?" He sighed and shook his head a little. "Your Mama's a retard." He mumbled, collapsing onto his bed with a heavy sigh. "Papa and I got into an argument. I got drunk. Fucked some stupid blond My ass won't stop hurting, and it's not a nice hurt, either! And ... Your Papa hates me. And I accept it. I think that's the worst part! WHAT happened to the days of fucking and leaving?! DAMNIT! Why! I fuckin' love him too much..." He groaned and curled tightly into his form before looking up at the other. "um. Basically I screwed up my life."

He was sympathetic to his mama, though by all rights he shouldn't be. Castiel moved and knelt at the end of the bed, carding his fingers through Rune's hair. The teen was quiet for a little while, thinking hard about his parents' relationship and all that he knew about each man. "Know what I think?" he asked, though it was rhetorical because he pushed on without Rune having answered him. "I think you're really lucky to have Papa, because I don't think that he hates you. I think that he's really hurt and angry, but confused because he knows you well enough to know that this was a one off thing and he wants to hate you, but he can't."

Rune looked up at his son and whimpered. "WHY! Why must you make sense?" he groaned and pulled him into a slightly-awkward-angle hug, nuzzling into his blue hair. "You're better than the other ones, but don't let them know." he murmured in reference to the boy's siblings. He nuzzled his head a few more times before he relaxed with a sigh, falling onto his back. "I.. I'll give him some time to cool off then go see him. That sound good?"

"Er... Maybe you should let him come to you...?" Cas wasn't really sure if his mama deserved the physical damage that would await him if he approached his papa too early. "Does that mean I get to stay home from school today?" he asked, hopeful look in his eyes while giving his best 'puppy' look. "I should be rewarded for helping Honey torture Uncle Tomias like that, right? And we didn't wreck the car. Did you know it was yours that Uncle Nikkos gave us the keys to?"

"WHAT?!" Rune lifted his form up and then groaned. "Fuck I don't care." He rolled onto his side and pushed the kid off. "stay home. Jerk off. Have sex. Do whatever." He rolled away from him. Happy for the advice, but not ... happy.

Relic wanted to see Calder. He knew his face may not be the best to be seen right now, but he wanted to see him and see if he was okay. Walking through the halls, he perked up as he spotted the blond. "Calder! Don't hit me!" He offered, smiling. "It's um... probably someone else you don't want to see." He let out a little laugh and walked toward him. "Um... Can we talk, or do you want me to leave?"

"Thanks!" Cas pecked a kiss to his mama's cheek and rushed off before he could change his mind. He felt a little bad taking advantage of his mama when he was in such an emotional state, but...only a little.

Looking up, Calder was fuming before Relic spoke again. He didn't really want to see Relic for the sole reason that he was his husband's twin and he was ready to beat his husband into a bloody pulp, but he had no good reason to turn Relic away, either. "Talk," he answered with a little shrug, turning to continue walking towards the rooms he'd taken over.

Relic sighed softly and quickly skipped after him, being sure to keep a little bit behind him. "I just wanted to talk to you! And see how you were doing. Relatively speaking, of course. I know Rune's stupid, but he's never stupid enough to actually cheat! He never cheats! He blatantly tells people 'i'm fucking yourb rother'. literally... He's literally said that. And I know that you know all of these things already because you've been getting to know sides of Rune that I would never even have imagined and that's wonderful! It honestly is! I'm so happy for you two that it's not even fathomable to put into words! I just... I wanted to see if you were going to be okay. If... If you would be able to go back to him... eventually. I know it may take time, but... I just... you two are so happy together."

Calder stopped walking and turned to look at Relic. "But that's what he did, Relic. He went out and got shit faced and screwed some other guy. I love him-I wouldn't still be married to him if I didn't-but he hurt me in a way that I didn't think he was capable of, even despite the fact that I'm talking about Rune Lin." The blond was keeping his voice low, because the teachers of Prometheus were almost as bad with gossip as the students. "And while I know, in my heart of hearts, that it was a one time fuck up that almost hurts more. To know that something so trivial could drive him to that point scares me. So I can't answer your question."

Relic sighed softly and he nodded. "I understand." He smiled lightly and then pushed some of the other's hair out of his face, brushing aside a bit of left over tears. "You'll be fine, Calder. I... I know that you two will be, okay?" He bit his bottom lip and then hugged him for a few tight moments then let go. "I... I want to fix this but... I know that I really can't huh?"

"No," he answered in a whisper. "It has to be him." Even though he had no idea just how, exactly, Rune would be able to go about fixing the mess he'd created. Calder wished that he did know, though. It would give him a little bit of comfort in a way. The blond collapsed on the sofa once he'd returned to his rooms, exhausted after not having slept for a full day and then teaching on top of that. He fell into a fitful and light sleep.

A week passed. Then another. and another. And after a month, Rune was going to kill someone. He hissed and made his way to the school. he searched for his husband. Starting with his office and groaning. The folder was right where he left it. Sighing, he picked up the folder and grumbled a bit. Turning, he walked and asked a few kids where Calder was, kicking a few for being jerks, then eventually found the room he had taken up.

Knocking on the door, he fussed with the folders, not having an idea what he was going to say.

Calder wasn't able to bring himself to go to his husband. He just...was betrayed and hurt and still angry and still confused. He needed the time to get his head on straight. The blond was doing better than the first night, or even the first week, but still was looking for time on his own before going to Rune. With the knock that the door, he called for Tanner (who was the only person to visit him, because he was the only person aside from Nikkos who knew where he was staying and why) to come in as he changed in the bedroom. "There's food on the stove if you want!" he called out.

Rune stepped inside, sniffing the food and his stomach growled. Oh man he missed the man's cooking! So much. He had been living off of take out and whatever leftovers Tanner and Relic would take pity on him to give. He walked toward the stove and shook his head. He would hold back He did not really want to have food in his mouth for when his jaw was inevitably broken. Instead, he chose to stand in the living room and wait for calder to come out.

Still pulling his shirt on, the blond moved into the living room. "I know we planned on going out tonight but---" The shirt was finally over his head and Calder stared at his husband, frozen in place. The urges were all over: hit him, kiss him, yell at him... He didn't know which to act on, and so he stood there, like an idiot, with his mouth half open, just waiting for the other man to speak.

Rune paused, looking at the other and he gave him a half smile, waving. "Um... It's been a month and... I just... I couldn't stand it anymore! I ... I at least wanted to see you... and I think Honey is plotting to suffocate me if I stay there any longer and keep eating his chocolate. I'm serious. I woke up this morning and he was in my room. Freaked me out!" He shuddered and looked over at him again, biting his bottom lip. "So... um.. Hi."

The words made Calder's blood boil. "That's it? 'Hi' is the best you can come up with?" he asked, voice in a dangerously low tone that he didn't think he'd ever used before. He shook his head and moved for the door, opening it. "That's just not going to cut it." Even though Calder didn't know what would cut it, he knew that 'hi' wasn't it.
