“I wanted to.. you’ve shown me so much kindness over these few days..” she said, looking at the gifts he brought her.

"You're very lovely...and kind..." He told her softly.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

Her face went a dark shade of red. “Th-Thank you..”

"Why is your face red...?" He asked curiously, moving closer.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

“W-Well.. y-you called me lovely..” she said.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"Because you are. Are elves not straight forward?" He asked.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

“W-We are but I haven’t.. well I’ve been by myself lately..” she said.

"Why?" He asked, "Surely, you have a mate waiting on you? To worship you?"

 

[Mr.Aznable]

She shyly shook her head. “I-I do not..” she said. She was alone. She could be his.

Where did that idea come from? Not that it was a bad one. He would be more than happy to worship her, night and day.
"I can fix that."

Her face lit up a bright red. She cleared her throat a bit. “I.. I think I would like that.” She said.

And with that, he threw away the intricate adornments he wore with his rank as general, leaving only the bracelet she had made him. "Then let's flee."

“Wh.. What?” She asked. “S-So soon?”

He nodded, "No better time, in my opinion."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

“O..Okay..!” She said, moving to grab her things. “Th-The cart may be a bit.. cramped..” she said.

"I'll be fine, don't worry about me." He said.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

She nodded and got into the cart, clearing some room for him as she got them ready to leave.

He crawled in through the back and got as comfortable as he could, glad his bones were hollow enough to allow him to fit.

They headed off, without so much as another glance back.

He watched her from his spot in the back and wondered what made him abandon his home and his duty for this elf.

She was more stunning now than before, the wind blowing her hair, and her light, flowery scent towards him.

He tried not to drool. Was this what love felt like?

She looked back at him and smiled. “Are you comfortable..?”

He nodded, eyes infatuated, "Surprisingly...~"
