Ebisu sat up more, turning her attention away from Akatsuru to try and find the source of the noise. “Is someone coming?” She whispered.

Akatsuru tried to cover herself, clearly embarrassed. Who knew what would happen if she was caught with Ebisu like this? The bushes rustled and a girl poked her head out, only she was very clearly more than just a girl. Her eyes were sharp and oddly pink, pupils thin lines and pale blue hair and rather long ears. She stared at the two motionlessly, eyes wide open and scared.

“Shit.” Ebisu hissed, knowing that what stood before them wasn’t just a girl, but a demon. She lunged for the pile of clothes, her sword buried in the clothing. “Don’t move.”

"I-It's just a child, Ebi...!" Akatsuru tried to argue, but the girl rushed forward toward Ebisu, knowing exactly what she was and what she planned to do.

Ebisu heard the foot steps and grabbed a handful of clothing, throwing it hard at the child to obscure her vision before kicking her hard away from the two of them. “It isn’t a child, Tsuru, they just look that way. It’s probably older than the both of us!”

She growled in frustration as she tumbled backward away from Ebisu and Akatsuru, ripping the clothes off before running at her again.
"D-Don't hurt her, she looks scared...!"

“That’s not a kid!” Ebisu said again, firmly this time, grabbing her sword and drawing it quickly.

“Akatsuru!” Ebisu said firmly. “It’s a demon!” She didn’t wait any longer, rushing forward and gripping her blade tight as she aimed to slice her neck.

The demon panicked and ducked before running toward Akatsuru, claws extended and swiping at her. Akatsuru hissed in pain, her arm bleeding, and the demon crouched a good distance away, eyes glued to Ebisu.
"D-Don't...touch me..." Akatsuru's voice was strained, eyes vacant, "d-don't...want to...die..."

Ebisu hissed under her breath when the demon got passed her, stopped when it stopped by Akatsuru. “A demon begging for its life? How ridiculous.” She said lowly.

"L...Last...Last one..." Akatsuru said, "Have to...live for...mama..." The demon didn't move an inch as she watched Ebisu, shaking in her spot.

Ebisu didn’t know how much control she had over Akatsuru, keeping her frozen in place. “Your mother is probably long dead, demon.”

Ebisu scowled. “Then you shouldn’t have come here.” She said lowly before vanishing, reappearing behind the demon, sword raised.

Ebisu was relentless, cutting her hands from her wrists as she tried to block her, forcing her back as she swung to cut her again.
