Magnus cut Derrick a glare crossing his arms to not kill him. - Please lillian, please wake up.... let me make it right.... let me show you I can change and be a better man-made his voice cried out across there connection hoping she could hear him.

"Sir, at this point all we can do is wait" explained a small woman. She was a vampire who used her gifts to save lives and occasionally feed on those who could spare a few ounces of blood. "See to it she's cared for, spare no expense" he ordered "of course sir, all expenses will be covered by the hospital, your bodyguards are already ensuring the level is secure" she explained. "Good work Selina, go rest, I'll make sure your supervisor knows your getting a nap in" Magnus said dismissing her without ever taking his eyes off lillian.
 
Derick glared at Magnus already feeling like he was invading his area. "Ordering help around I see." He stood up with his hand hold on to Lillian's limp hand while his free hand light brushed her hair from her face. "Another man chasing a woman for her influence?" At this point the room was cold with the fact of the men wanting the same thing but that person was out of their reach for the time being.
 
Magnus cut Derrick a cold glare "careful boy... do not presume you know me or my intentions" he said in a tone devoid of all kindness. "My love for the woman between us is all that stays my hand" he warned as his eyes seemed to have a red hue to them. "The fact of the mater is I own this hospital along with half this city, do not... test me" he warned as his eyes narrowed.

And the more I come to know you, the more I'm learning what real love is, that it's not all sunshine and rainbows, it's hard work and sacrifice- he said into her mind hoping she'd hear him. - come back lily, give me a chance to do it right and show you I can be saved, that I can earn your heart- he called out to her finding his pride, finding his courage, refusing to fail again.
 
"Is that so? You don't impress me nor Lillian with your throwing your light weight ass around." He snarled but hissed with him withdrawing his hand from Lillian. Her nails were covered in blood. "DAVID!" He roared out as he left pissed at the thought someone didn't clean her properly.

"Thought he wouldn't leave." Her voice was weak while he opened her eyes, her vision was blurry from the drugs and bandages. "Magnus..." She whispered for him as her eyes searched for him.

"Father." A slender Ebony woman stood in the door way with a folder. She was from Africa but she ran an escort business that let the men and women consent to sex. They were mainly props for the highest bidder. "I-" She stopped as she saw Derick down the hall but she stepped in shutting the door. "I got the reports, she was nearly killed. The metal that pierced her chest had several inches of blood but...The doctors couldn't explain the extra half an inch or something like that. By evidence she should be dead."

"Can't kill me with such ease." Laughing as she tried to move but the drugs weighted her body down.
 
"Do what you have to, but keep her out of the spotlight" he ordered. Stepping up to her side he gently took her hand. "This is my fault, had I not behaved so stupidly" he said chastising himself. "Can you ever forgive me, and give an old fool a chance to make it right? Teach me to be the man I should be?" He asked as he knelt beside her bed and with a thought and a flick of his finger willed away the dirt under her nails.
 
"Magnus, mind the blood. Its Derick's. Didn't want the scent of sex filling my nose any longer." Her eyes felt heavy while he cleaned her nails. "You didn't do anything wrong. Just a misunderstanding."

"For someone so young you're mature." Aiko stood there with a smile. "Father has good tastes." Waving to Lillian before she left them alone but she called out to Derick.
 
Magnus smirked, "she's always been my favorite daughter" he commented as he watched her leave. "I thought I'd lost you... that I'd never get a chance to make things right" he said softly. "Ive had security doubled on this floor, you can call me old fashioned if you want but if anything were to ever happen to you because of me.... I'd never forgive myself" he said tenderly.

"At least indulge me till your back to 100%, it'll put my mind at ease. Between the other wolves no doubt looking for you and any of my enamies looking to hurt me through those I love, I just need to know your safe... even from me" he said fearing her vulnerable state would be too good to pass up by anyone looking to capture or kill her.
 
"Oh hush." Whispering as the pain killers were trying to make her sleep. "This was an accident...No one trying to....Kill me..." Her voice grew weaker with the need to sleep over taking her. "Derick....Still trying to repair the damage..He caused." Yawning but the yawn fell short with her wincing in pain. A tear welled up under the bandages while her body shook. With a shuddering breath she took several moments to calm down before the heart monitor slowly returned to a relaxed pace to signal of her falling to sleep.
 
"He stinks of another woman and has the nerve to try a claim you for himself. Rest, I'll stay right here as long as you want" he said and tenderly kissed her knuckles. Aiko and Horus returned and rather than bother them quietly closed the door.

"Do you think she'll come around and love father?" Horus asked Aiko. He was worried how such a fragile being even as powerful as she was had such command and influence over his father and what it could do to him to loose her.
 
"Brother, I manage a lot of people...Its up to our father. I can teach him of the modern way of courting but he has to be willing to learn. Hell I've bedded a few men who I had to teach how to treat a woman as a lady." Sighing as she gave special instructions and managed to alter evidence. "But we have a bigger problem dear Brother." Once they were alone in their father's dark office she looked at him with her brown eyes. "What are we going to do when the council finds out our Father is wanting a werewolf for a Bride and not another vampire?"
 
Horus waved it off "pht, to the pit with what they think, we both know father is older and stronger than all of them put together. He's the last original vampire left, if he's chosen a wolf as his bride then so be it. We both know he won't let anything stop him, he's never followed anyone's rules but his own. Hell he wrote most of them himself to keep the fledglings under control. What I'm worried about is are they going to try and do something stupid to make him like he was so they can do as they please again, you know as well as I when he retakes control and finds out what they've been doing he's going to be furious" Horus said with a shudder of fear at magnus's wrath.
 
"I do but times have changed...He'll be worthless until he catches up with the times." Aiko moved and sat up on the desk to look at Horus. "Father, will give his life to protect the puppy but if the Council finds her...and their relationship...They will enslave her, her pack, that child who calls her mommy, and when the council figures out she's an Alpha..." Aiko looked to Horus. "They will breed the shit out of her until they find another Female Alpha to replace her. After that....You know what they'll do. Leave her nearly dead form in front of Father knowing he can't turn her or save her from that point on."

Her voice was cold and being realistic about their situation. At this point Aiko was fidgeting on the desk with her thoughts running for solutions. "Us, his children need to keep this under wraps until we can find a proper solution or a loop hole that HE forgot to cover up. Remember, he wrote the laws and rights before this Pup was even a thought in her family's bloodline. One of you boys got to find the loop hole if there is one while I educate Father on how to properly woo a modern woman."
 
Horus nodded "I'll get Anubis and Ahman to help, we won't fail. Just get father domesticated before she rejects him totally. I'll inform the rest of our siblings to keep things quiet and under wraps. With any luck the council won't even notice her" he said before patting her head and then vanished with vampire speed.
 
Aiko pulled her phone out and sent a mass message out to their siblings. She may be the youngest one but she took the lead on guiding them as if she was the oldest.

"Here this, the child Jason the son of Derick and Lillian. Keep distance from him. Experienced supernatural being first hand and innocent. Lillian wants to keep him innocent as long as possible. Orders....Observe from a distance but engage when life is threaten. Keep him human." With that she pocketed her phone before returning to her father to see his hand still held Lillian's.

"Father, I have notes about this woman. I want you to read this so you know the basics of how to act." The folder silently laid beside him before she left. In the folder it was her family's status of being the oldest of wolf bloodline. She had the socialite educate on manners and etiquette. Yet her tastes were more simple as she enjoyed picnics, flea markets, road trips and such. Those who didn't treat her like a lady were rejected but if they tried to force their way into her bed, she removed their hopes.
 
"Thank you Aiko, I can always depend on you" he said softly as she left. As Magnus sat at her beside he read the file easily a dozen times over. He needed every advantage and leg up to win her love and truly deserve it. Pulling his phone out he sent a request to Aiko -i require an up to date file on modern manners, socially acceptable behaviors, everything I need to know to be a man of culture and sound mind, I want it before sunrise- he hit send and returned to studying lillian, he knew now to beware of obsession and it's lure, instead he approached the act of courting her how he would any hunt, learn his prey and bid his time.
 
In the file in bold was: SHE DEPISES THOSE MEN WHO ACT ENTITLED AND TAKES FULL CONTROL. Aiko looked at her phone and smirked. "Its more involved Father. To much information to be handed and often not accurate. I have a girl whose like Lillian on behavior and taste wise. Very popular among my clients. She can help you with your teachings under my supervision."
 
"Thank you aiko, if you would... please send word to my eldar children to come to my compound in 3 days, I wish to see them.... I've been away from my children for far too long" he said soberly as he looked at Lillian.

- just what have you done to me my lillian.... you've melted the ice around this old heart and made me remember what it was like to be human again, to care again- he thought not even realizing he'd shared his thoughts with her.
 
Aiko was on her way home when he got the message. Soon she was tracking them down. Back at the hospital Lillian opened her eyes ever so slightly when she heard his voice. She thought he was speaking. With a weak smile she closed her eyes to fall back to sleep. The following days she was asleep with nunrses coming and going. Magnus was given chances to go about his duties.
 
Over the days she rested Magnus threw himself into study. By day learning to be a modern man, by night he'd sit at her bed side and read books to her. Most were classics, some more modern and others were just for fun. Little by little he was becoming more of the man he wanted to be.
 
Aiko had taught him and her brothers that a woman whose use to being independent with education. During the demonstration, manners were displayed of gently offering assistance and allowing the woman to decide to accept the assistance. If she sees the same man in distress then she may help in return which will open up channels. Later, Aiko moved on to men showing confidence. One scene there was a man who rushed to a woman doing everything at once and refused to let the woman to do a thing. This was made strictly for Magnus as Aiko wanted him to see how he looked when he first encountered Lillian. Once the man was rejected, the woman constantly ran from the frantic love sick man. In the next scene, a more confident person stood before the woman as his gestures were small yet thoughtful. Each gesture was presented over time which had the woman thinking of him and gotten use to him being in her life. Which in this state she'll be more comfortable around him and willing to be herself.

In the hospital, during one of Magnus's studies Lillian was awake with her coming face to face with her future mate. He was tall with black hair with an air of confidence. He had traveled over from Asia from their birth regions but he had Asian blood in him. He did look at her with disgust assuming she was scarred up. Her heart monitor was rising as she ripped the bandages off hoping to scare him off with blood spraying out but yet she didn't shed a drop of blood. Mistake on her half as the male grabbed her chin to hold her in place while he inspect her.

"You have prime blood for my pups. In three months I'll ensure you will be in my bed begging."

"The sluts you took may beg but I don't." Slapping his hand as she triggered an alarm which had Magnus's men rushing in. "Remove him. I'm not feeling good." Her cheeks were drained of color which had the men rushing the werewolves out of the Hospital. Magnus had a third opponent in his realm.
 
Magnus felt her getting upset and decided to try his education. -is everything alright? Do you need assintance?- he called out to her mind showing concern but calm. Days ago he would have rushed to her side at the first sign of aggitation.

The boys found they were lacking more than they thought. It occurred to them they had spent so long tending to there father theyed hardly kept up with the new ways. Magnus needed to adapt, he remained confident his genuine feelings for her would guide him and that she would see he was a good man, that he could heal and be a better man.
 
"Assistance?" She whispered with a soft smile. "Call it what it is. Help. But no just battle of will power." She managed to drain the color from her cheeks as a show to get Magnus's men to react within milliseconds of her request. "Everything is fine here." Her eyes fell over the glass vase of roses that had been left for her. "Also thank you for the roses. They are beautiful." Aiko had taken the lead and signed it in her father's name.
 
- you are most welcome lillian, if you need me just reach out, and I will come- he replied to her. "Aiko, I would like to know who it was that disturbed lillian, I want to know how they got into my hospital" he said with scary calm.
 
Aiko shook her head. "Isn't this the day she comes face to face with her...mate?" She reminded her father of Lillian's ceremony but she missed it for the fact of the accident. "Also you're welcome on sending the roses but to make it more like it was you...I had sent the giant teddy bear to her. She can gut it and wear it as a suit." Smirking as she looked at her father.
 
"Thank you aiko, you always think ahead, of all my children you I can count on most" he said with a smile. "I know I don't tell you enough.... but I've always ment to" he said with a gentle smile. "Aiko.... can I trust you to ensure my lifemates safety?" He asked her as he held the files and notes in his hand.
