Years went by as a young woman resides in a busy city just to avoid a certain fate. The sun was setting as a woman in tight black knee length skirt stepped out of a black jaguar. Her red blouse fitted to hide her tiny waist and a few buttons had been popped loose with locks of her brown air fallen from her bun. Lillian Stone, was out to have a relaxing evening with a few friends after work. The flare of her hips swayed to every step as her green eyes looked at the semi quiet parking lot of a well known bar where professionals go to. Her full breasts heaved slightly as she entered the bar to smell of faint smoke, someone must have came in from smoking.

"Hey Jeffery!" Her soft cupid bow lips smiled at the bar tender who tends to look out for the women who came in alone. Often he told the waitresses or waiters to watch out for the women there. Even professional men tend to get handsy at times. Her slender fingers came up and removed the hair pins to have her long hair cascading down to the small of her back. For a long time she's been hiding a secret from everyone, even to her own kind. After ordering a glass of wine she felt a set of eyes on her but she shook it off figuring it was a man lusting for her. Soon a few of her friends showed up which they all spent a few hours laughing, drinking and venting.

When it was time to go home, she had a strong cup of coffee with a taxi being called in courteous. While waiting, she looked at her cell phone with her expecting messages from her friends stating they got home safely, a tradition since college. There she felt a pair of strong hands grabbing her but with wine in her system it had dulled her senses which had the person drugging her more effective. After her form was placed in the car, her cell phone on the street was lighting up...

"Travis: Got home, Night!
Jessica: Made it home, Love ya sis!
Tiffany: Lil' binks says good night Lily!!"

Those messages came while her limp form was placed on the couch in a pristine office, the black leather couch easily replaced if stained with to much blood.

A tall slender built man with blood red hair and wearing red leathers stood upright after laying her on the couch. "An offering father" he said in a normal voice. "That will be all Ahmon, you may go now- said a deeper more powerful voice from the large chair with it's back to them. "Yes my lord" Ahmon replied and in a split second was gone.

The chair slowly turned revealing a tall, broad shouldered well dressed man with waist length white hair that matched his milky white skin. His black nails and suit contrasting that skin as he slowly stood and approached her never taking his eyes off her.

Her eyes flickered even drugged her eyes sparkled and for a moment her eyes locked on him. The drug was powerful as it suppressed her wolfish nature. The more she fought the more tired she grew. A small sigh left her lips as her eyes fell shut but as her head fell to the side there was a tattoo hidden at the hair line. It was four claw marks in white gold, a sign of a werewolf but the torn like claw markings showed her rank.

With a smirk he knelt beside her and gently brushed her hair aside. "To think, my true mate is a lycan, eternity is nothing if not ironic" he said tenderly as he removed his jacket and gently scrapped it over her prone form.

Sitting in a chair before her he waited, like he always had. He'd waited thousands of years for her, trying with all his being to not become a monster like so many of his kind had chosen to do.

Who should be more thankful? Him or Her for the fact the drug had it in it's clutches. A few hours went by and the sudden rush of unfamiliar scents rushed her nose making her bolt up. Her loose hair fell in her face but it didn't impair her sight. "Where am I?!" There was a faint growl in her tone with her looking around. "Show yourself!" It seemed when her eyes locked on him, it was her body reacting out of instinct. She never truly saw the man before her.

"Calm yourself" came a calm and commanding voice as he stepped out of the shadows to let her see him, like a ghost made flesh. His features carried power, ruggedly handsome and as he retook the seat before her he leveled his deep red eyes on hers. "My name is Magnus, Magnus Kain, I apologise for how you got here, my son I'm afraid was... over eager to offer me a tribute and too foolish to realize what he brought me" he said with a faint smile.

Her eyes locked on him with him approaching her, she sat up bit more with caution. His scent wasn't human but didn't smell of death exactly. "Why send a weakly out for your own food? Got tired of getting your hands dirty?" Smirking as her nails slowly lengthen with the nails growing a razor sharp edge. "Son? Born or turned?" Revealing what she knew about him, a small simple fact but none the less she revealed it. In the past her kind were used as watch dogs but that was a myth.

"To answer your first question I don't hunt anymore because I can't blend in anymore, I'm too old" he said calmly holding up 1 finger. "And to answer your second" he said holding up a second finger. "He is my first son, the first one I turned nearly 7000 years ago in Egypt" he said with a soft smile.

"Blend in? Don't get out much I see." Putting his jacket aside, she stood up but her head suddenly began to spin. The room was spinning out of control with her feeling unsettled in her high heels. She reached out with her suddenly falling, her long nails reached out cutting the edge of his chair when she fell. A loud thud was heard from the other room but none moved. Even as a powerful werewolf, she had her weaknesses and her form couldn't process drugs like humans can. This drug wouldn't do much to a human but to those who remain hidden, it saps their strength.

Magnus at the last second snapped to her side catching her head before she cracked it open on the stone floor. "Easy now, the toxin won't wear off for another few hours" he said gently scooping her up and setting her on the couch.

"I'm far too old, the sun won't weaken me like others of my kind.... it'll kill me" he explained. "And in the light" he said letting her get a good look "they'll see what I am" his fangs stayed exstrended, unlike others whose retracted, his skin white as snow on closer look resembled living marble and his eyes looked like 2 ruby's glittering in the light of the lamp. "I can't be around others" he said with a look of sorrow in his eyes.

"Stop." She growled at him as he touched her but he picked her up to lay her on his couch. Laying there with the room still spinning. "There are people like you. Pale with weird colored hair." Her voice was faint as she kept her eyes closed trying to keep things from spinning. Though she saw the sorrow in his eyes from that split moment of her looking at him. "I would have thought with age you could overcome some things."

"I'm different than the rest of my kind" he said as he sat again. "I was born this way, more than 10000 years ago at the end of the ice age, one of the first" he explained. "While true most of use blend in better as we age.... I dont, the older I get.... the more it shows what I am" he said looking away feeling ashamed but refusing to bend to it and loose his pride.

"There were 13 of us back then, each of us born to be what we are.... I'm the last, the only one left" he explained and holding his hand out formed a glass and pulled moisture out of the air to fill it with water "drink, it's just water I promise, the drug will dehydrate you as your body burns it off unless you drink some water, I assure your it's the purest you'll ever taste" he said offering it to her.

Slowly she opened her eyes to see him holding out a glass of water. "Shame you don't have a gift to retain your youth." Whispering as she sat up. Her hand was trembling with her taking the glass from him. Slowly and carefully she sipped on the water but her nails dug into the leather to keep herself up right.

"Its of little consequence, my children bring me the little blood I need. I only need to feed once a month to survive." He explained like it was nothing to him to chat about his feeding habit. Magnus with a flick of his finger refilled the glass.

"Though I do believe etiquette says it's only fair that you now introduce yourself" he said with a smirk. It had been some time since he's spoken with anyone and was looking to drag it out into a conversation with substance rather than the pointless adoration and butt kissing he delt with from his children and subordinates.

"Give me one good reason I should tell a kidnapper my name?" He may be trying to draw this conversation out for the sake of substance but she wasn't in the mood to submit to his desires. "So you feed so little and that is making you wither away huh?" She heard tales of vampires but never came face to face with one who was willing to talk. "If you plan to be around you need to take care of yourself." With her glass refilled, she put it aside knowing it'll be awhile before she could walk out of here.

He chuckled softly, " your free to go at any time, with my apologies and protection" he said gently. "I've never really wanted to care for myself, I've never cared for this world and it's pain" he said soberly with a strained smile. "If you would indulge a broken man, would you stay a while and talk with me?" He asked.

Perhaps talking wouldn't be such a bad thing. "Alright, I'll stay as long as I can." Leaning back against the couch as men who just wither away never interested her. She lived life freely and when she could she did go hiking in the mountains and camp out there. Even if she had a pregnancy scare from a wild night in the woods, she still love to go back.

"Please, I'd like to know your name" he asked again with a smile as he sat more comfortably and observed her. It was clear he was under nourished but no less dangerous or powerful, he was surviving on the minimal amount of blood needed to survive which spoke volumes on his control.

With him being eager to know her name it couldn't hurt for him to know her name. Afterall she didn't intend to see him after this. "Lillian." In his presence her bloodline was rushing the drugs out of her system so she could fight or flee. But her family was known for blood shed in the battlefields but times have changed.

"It is a pleasure to meet you lillian" he said in a formal tone with a smile. Over the next few hours till sunrise he spoke with her asking her questions and answering any she had.

Once it seemed he was tired, she got to her feet and left him in his office. He was a starving, withering man that just existed. Lillian lived, while she made her way to the bar she found her phone in the bar tender's keep. Once she got it she went home to get ready for work.

But at Magnus's office one of his son's approached with care. "You didn't feed, Father. Was she to your liking?" The ebony man stood there in the darkness with his father. For centuries they had created an empire to where Magnus can live in comfort but him barely feeding was worrisome.

"She was much to my liking my son, more than I'd ever hoped for" he smiled softly. "Bring me 3 men, preferably death row inmates, use the normal channels to secure them..... it's time I returned to the world outside" he said with a smile that unsettled his son. "And Horus, see to it Ahmon is rewarded for bringing her to me... he's saved me from turning to stone" he said with a smile and went to his sarcophagus to rest.

Nodding as he left to do his bidding. Yet Horus turned and sent men to investigate this mysterious woman who turned their father from a corpse to someone who was wanting to live. In hours three inmates were being escorted inside the office building by six guards who worked for them. In time three bodies were dismissed and fed to hungry animals at the Zoo.

Over the next 2 days he fed regaining lost strength becoming the powerful elder he was again. In those 2 days horus had discovered where she lived, what she did for a living and observed her patterns. On the third day Magnus emerged from near constant feeding that day still ghostly pale with white hair but looking more normal and easily able to pass for an albino man. "Bring the limo around Horus, I wish to see Lillian today and invite her to the theatre with me" he said as everyone was in shock seeing there maker in pristine health for the first time in over 3 millennia.

"Father, that may be an issue." The ebony man presented Magnus with photos of Lillian at a playground, her hair was in a messy braid as she wore simple shirt and jeans, a mother attire. In the next photo was her carrying a small little boy in her arms; he looked a mess but her face spoke of her being protective. It seemed the child encountered a bully and she scooped him up to chew the parent out for not stepping in. The next few photos was her, the child and a man enjoying a day out with movies and ice cream. "Why chase a taken woman?"
