"H-Huh? O-Oh, shit, she blacked out..." He said. Taran chuckled darkly and the clone vanished, Taran wrapping his arms around her waist to keep her secure.
"Damn good job today, baby~"
It was the price he had to pay. He didn't want to not be with her, but he wanted to be able to do whatever she wanted whenever she wanted. It was for her.
The irony of it all, was that he had now almost completely forgotten about her. Not in the actual sense, but he clung on so tight to the memory of her, that he had all but forgotten about her actually existing.
She didn't gain nutritionally from feeding off Taran, she just preferred it. Didn't mean she missed him less. Maybe she could go to the incubi and ask?
She hated dealing with them. Snotty, arrogant bastards, the lot of them. Okay, not all of them, but a lot of the younger incubi had always tried to make moves on her. One didn't come back.
It was a bit of a walk to the domain where they all resided, but she eventually got there. The incubi all looked at her and watched her as she approached, smirking coyly.
"Well, well, well~"
"Hey, Ulvir~"
"Been a long time~"
