The courier was like a man possessed as he rode through the night on the grey steed. The hooves of it digging into the dirt, spraying mud out behind it as it galloped along the path. Within his satchel the letter he had received to be delivered with the utmost urgency. In fact the person who gave it to him, said to get it to the recipients at any measure. He rode passed farm land, rivers, forests not giving the horse beneath him chance to rest until her arrived at his destination. Sliding off his horse, he clutched the leather bag nervously, as he eyed the fort before him. He knew vaguely of the history of the families and how three decided to move away from the centre of their lands, so this.... this he knew was not the castle. Or anywhere near as grand as it could be, and was a fort, that in the past had been used to keep watch over the border. It was still impressive, but then to the courier anything bigger than a gathering hall would be impressive.

He approached the fort, the cool air of the night sending a shiver across his body as he approached the draw bridge. Standing on either side were two guards, carrying halberds, and on their shields was the symbol of the Phoenix. Swallowing he began to approach and to no surprise the guards crossed their Halberds to deny him entry.

"Business?" one of the guards asked, before widening his eyes at the courier as he spoke. "Well hand the letter over, and we'll ensure his Majesty receives it.... Deliver it yourself?" The guards exchanged looks before moving their Halberds aside, and one followed the courier into the fort. Guiding him along spiralling stairs and further up into the mountainside that the fort had been build into they appeared at the top of the cliff face, on an outcrop of stone. "Sire, news for you." The guard pushed the courier forward as he approached and handed the letter to the King of these lands before leaving to deliver the rest of the letters to the neighbouring kingdoms.

The current king held out a brown leather hand to take the letter, adjusting from the position he was sitting in, his fur rimmed cloak shifting a little as he rolled his shoulders. After a few days of contemplation, and discussion with those of his court, it was decided to be best to see what was going to happen. Too long had been spent away, and now... was potentially the time for that to change. Of course the concern of there to be a trap was brought up, and held in the heart of those in the court. This led to him travelling to the centre of the lands, with an escort of ten knights.

It was early when they crested over the hill, the king slowly dismounted landing with a thud as he rolled his shoulders. He appeared to be a well built man, with fine featured face, and orange eyes at closer look, they were partially red along the outside, a trademark of his family along with his deep red hair flecked with bright sun orange. Which was long and wild, but tied back so it would trail down his back. He seemed to be wearing a mixture of leathers and plate armour, fit for travelling and would hold up if there was an attack on the road or once they entered the other kingdom. Thankfully there was neither.

One of the knights blew into a horn to announce their arrival before yelling, "King Baal Logi is answering the summons of Princess Suzanna!" After that they waited, half of the knights expecting the worst, the other half following the lead of their king, trusting that this would not die far from home.

Suzanna came running out of the castle a looked of relief on her face "thank the gods" Suzanna was the only remaining princess of the dragon family and she looked exactly like she should shining golden hair with streaks of red through it and deep blue eyes that looked like gemstones. Suzanna looked at her brother who was standing at the top of the steps and then raced back up to him and spoke with him quickly she was so happy that at least one family had answered her call and she hoped that the other two would as well. Suzanna then turned and nodded her head telling the guards to show them in and that no aggression was to be shown. Suzanna stood and waited and hoped that things would all go well in the long run

Baal raised his hand and with a slight gesture all of the knights, bar three at the back slowly dismounted from their horses. Their feet unhooking out of the stirrups and clunking onto the ground before moving forward along with him as he walked approached and would be guided to wherever it was he was supposed to go in here. He kept his hand resting on the pommel of his sword, not entirely at ease just yet as he walked along the corridors. 'I wonder if anyone else has decided to give this meeting a try.' He thought to himself as he blew a few strands of his red hair out of his face. Once he arrived her bowed his head to the princess before standing up straight. His hands by his side, not wanting to give off a bad sign to his guards. Glancing behind him, he could see the two that came with him were still on edge.

Suzanna gave a small bow back “welcome your the first to arrive please make yourself comfortable” Suzan’s pushes a large set of doors open and reveled a larger formal room that had a mix of dinning room and living room furniture in it to make sure everyone was comfortable while they all waited

Baal moved inside after she bowed to the room, admiring the work around it before slipping into a chair after unhooking his sword and resting it near his side. "A word for peace is hardly something i was going to let up. Grudges aside there are those that would not like to see this meeting take place at all." He added and gestured to his two guards who bowed and headed away. "Both in my court and outside. Princess Suzanna what made you wish to set up this meeting after so long."

“It’s more then time for it to end besides we are all sitting ducks now” Suzanna was keeping some things close to her chest for the time being simply because she needed everyone there before she got in to everything that had happened

Baal bowed his head and fell quiet, letting a bit of tension set in the air as they waited for the next few people to arrive. Outside of the castle gates came a rather small group, wearing mixtures of silver of blue. The rider at the front was holding a flag at the front displaying the crest of a Pegasus above the sea embodied in silver and blue. The horses clopping along the path. The Pegasus household had hit upon hard times, harder than they had been in a fair number of years. With most of the household falling on to the shoulders of a little girl. She was no more than thirteen as she gripped the reigns tightly of the horse, her long light blue hair trailing down to her ankles as her sapphire like eyes looked around with a hint of worry from being so far from home. "Commander Slo, are we almost there."

The man to her side was wearing a full set of plate and kept a shield at the side of his horse. He could have easily been mistaken for a statue. "Yes your grace we are almost there." The company came to a stop before the rider at the front bellowed out the arrival of Queen Astrid of the Pegasus family.

Astrid believed this was the right call to make... they had no choice, many out there in her kingdom were beginning to starve and died. Gripping the leather reigns tightly she stared down at the hard boiled saddle of her horse. Nervousness setting in, what if it was a trap. A trap that killed her mother, her father, her brothers that should have succeeded her.

Suzanna went out to greet them personally and from the top of the steps she gave a bow “welcome thank you for coming if you will please join us in the dinning hall all will be explained soon”

Astrid looked at Suzanna worriedly before following after her, after getting a nod from her Guardian. Entering the room she glanced over to Baal and then her. "Just... just one more family. T-thank you f-." She was nervous and her Guardian stepped in front. "Her Highness is happy to accept your offer and is anxious to see what your plan is." Astrid glanced at her knight before nodding her little head.

"your welcome and we are waiting on the Griffin family to arrive and then we will get started" Suzanna smiled and then headed back out of the room hoping that everyone would be able to listen without judging and not get too angry at her for looking at their state of affairs and used it to her advantage

Astrid and Baal sat in the room as quiet as the grave as they waited for the final family to arrive. Astrid felt a sense of unease from the other man in here, and well being in a potentially dangerous place in general. She glanced over to where Suzanna had left before shifting in her seat.

It would be a little bit more time, nearer dusk before the green flag with the bronze gryphon upon it. The one at the front was king Darcion Gryphon. Who promptly hopped off his horse, his long heavy green coat falling just above his ankles as landed heavily on the ground. "Mhm." He nodded to the guards before heading up to where the others were. Unlike the others he had no one else with him, nor a weapon and gave a smile and a small wave at the others. He was young and his shaggy brown hair and stubble on his face probably signified he had been away from his home for some time and had altered his course upon receiving word.

"welcome please come and join us, dinner will be served shortly" Suzanna knew the others had to be getting annoyed with waiting for so long to eat but she hadn't wanted to start without everyone there.

Darcion smiled before taking his seat as he looked over the others in the room, everyone was here and it was the first time he had expected to see so many people here without trying to kill each other.

"Care to start explaining now Suzanna?" Baal asked as his gaze flicked over to hers, waiting for this long had made him grow a little more impatient. Yet he held back on moving away due to the possibilities at this moment.

Astrid was swinging her legs, as the chair was a little too big for her right now, chewing one of her fingernails nervously.

Suzanna nodded her head and then sat down "as you all know back when the four families lived close to each other one of the mages grew jealous and caused the splits between our families. well I have found proof of his crimes but I have also learned that his descendant is up to the same tricks targeting us each one by one in an attempt to weaken up he had started with your families as you live further out and getting help would take too long and come too late" Suzanna went in to detail about what she had found and showed them as well so they knew where everything stood

Darcion widened his eyes as he heard this news before leaning forward to speak to Suzanna. "Wait this person's descendants? So we're not out of the woods at all, and we don't know what this person looks like at all?" He asked her, hearing how everything seemed to collapse and the divide widen between them was a rather frightening thing.

Baal merely sat as he listed to the end, and let the others continue to talk about this whilst he waited till the end to ask some form of question or try and get a glimpse of an idea for the next move.

Astrid stiffened. "Were... that person..." She was about to speak up before a hand was placed on her shoulder as her guardian shook his head. "Do not worry about such a thing your highness.... it might hurt but it will be answered in time." He told her and Astrid slowly calmed down as she began to fiddle with her blue hair. "What can we do though, y-your majesty?" She asked, directing her question to Suzanna.

"we don't but I know someone who does the males own daughter she is young about six I believe, she has a photo of him and is willing to turn it over so long as we well I am willing to protect her. she is a growing and powerful sorceress and could do great good for our four nations if we are willing and able to get rid of her father. as for what we do we moved back to the center where our ancient families once lived from their food and medical aid can be given to those who need it as it sits we are all sitting ducks to his games and tricks." Suzanna knew that trusting a child would be a big step for some of them but she hoped it would work out in the end.

(I can take one of the guys on if you want)

There was silence amongst the room as they sat there in silence at her proposition. She was recommending that they trust each other enough to move back to the centre and live as if nothing had happened. Not only that, but work with the same bloodline of the one who supposedly worked to ruin their lives. There was a clear tension in the air as she finished and all of them exchanged looks as if trying to decide if it was for the best that they agreed to this. Years of mistrust beginning to bubble to the surface.

(If you want to, i wouldn't mind would make for better interaction.)

Suzanna looked over when a little girl gave a scared cry and then bent down and scooped the child up into her arms and held her as she cried. "its ok little one no one will hurt you" Suzanna looked at that other leaders and mouthed to them that she was sorry about that interruption.

Darcion blinked a little when he spotted the little girl and she was as Suzanna had described a young girl no more than six but he had to wonder what had caused the child to want to over her father

Baal remained quiet and stern as the cries of the child came over the room. If anything he sat up a little more as he flexed his fingers over the arms of the chair and waited to see where else she would continue with this. "How are we going to find these people amongst everyone in our combined kingdoms? It is no small landmass to cover, and they have... As i am sad to say due to our own cowardice..." He looks to Astrid Darcion, and lowered his own head in shame. "Given them ample time to root into our lands like maggots into a carcass."

Astrid grimaced at his rather dark description of the events before looking over at the girl in her arms. She felt a small bit of bond between her, being not much older than her herself.

Suzanna looked at him "because his goons all have a gemstone that he gives them that allows him to track them and this little sweetheart brought us one." Suzanna handed the little girl off to her own handmaiden and once she was gone Suzanna turned and sat down and spoke "she is turning her father over because he forced her to watch as he raped and killed not only her mother but two big sisters. I fear he would have done the same to her had she not hidden where he couldn't find her"

Baal cocked his head to the side as he glanced at the girl. His eyes flashing a little for a moment. "I see, and can we use these gemstones to potentially track down his allies?" He asked, his gloved hand fumbling a little on the arm of the chair. As he heard what the daughter had been through his grip tightened on it. "Bastard..." he growled under his breath, letting a heated breath leave his nostrils as they flared a little.

Suzanna nodded her head "we can it was how we found his men in my kingdom, we haven't gone after them yet since we don't want him aware that we have found them and I would rather all of us capture the men in all the kingdoms at the same time then one by one" Suzanna could see that they were all angered by the news of what she had seen. knowing the little girl may open up to another child she looked at the other queen "may I ask if you would talk to her she has come to trust me and has told me some things but I feel she would respond better if she were to talk to another child"

Baal grunted a little but fell quiet as she finished. Having had his questions answered. As she started to speak to Astrid though his gaze set on the small girl who had been playing with her long hair.

Glancing up Astrid stopped fiddling as she stared between the pair of them and her face went pale. "I m-mean i can try.." She muttered and slid off her seat. Slo turned to her, "Your highness you needn't not-" "I will do it Slo...for now just to make sure.." She walked over to the girl, her blue hair bouncing with each step she took before looking at the little girl and smiling slightly. "H-hello, i'm Astrid. It is nice to meet you."

The little girl looked up at her and smiled a little “i’m Kate I like your hair” Kate was small even for a child this was impart because of the abuse she had suffered at the hands of her father

Astrid blinked a little before fiddling with her blue hair out of nerves and smiled a little. "Thank you that's a kind thing to say Kate... i am Astird it's..." She stuttered as she tried to remember the formal etiquette but ditched it at the last moment. "It's nice to meet you, do... do you like riding?" She asked, trying to find some ground where the two could bond on.
