The Prince's Love (Kolath x Nightsorceress)

The objections continued from Edwin noticed mostly the female members of the council, the mothers with eligible daughters and the daughters themselves that wished to be the one he picked to be his bride. It was the prime minister that calmed things down “Now that is enough of this stupidity.” Silence fell before he continued, “Now what serious worries does the council have.” he held up a hand to stop the tide from starting again. “One at a time. I myself have none. I know of the lady Lillian and worked for however a brief time with her mother while she lived. I know her mother’s loyalties and have no reservations.” He nodded to the next in line an older gentleman who shook his head having none as well. Four or five council members passed with no objections before one came up. It as a older male council member who raised it. “My lord, we as the lords of the land have become more accepting of magic in the land, the people have not really. I don’t know how the people would react to having...well what they would term a witch as queen.” There were frowns from several of the council at this but Edwin nodded “It is a fair point to bring up. But it should be pointed out that they already have a magic user as a king.” He waved his hand in the air and a small bouquet of flowers fell into Lily’s arms.

She felt horriable on how the council was reacting to the news. She didn’t know what else to say to convince them. But she wanted them to be happy for their king. She tried to think a moment. “Your king had to use magic to protect himself from a dark witch who tried to kill him and take over the land, if he didn’t have the magic my mother taught him how to use he would be dead now, and you would all be ruled by evil”

The council looked rather ashamed for a moment before another member spoke up. “The details of the kings battle with that woman...have been kept secret to this council and a few that were actually there. The general public doesn’t know the king has magical abilities.” Edwin shuddered in anger at this. “A fact I think does a disservice to the people.” His prime minister waved a hand “The objection is pointless, because of one point.” he snapped his fingers and a scribe came forward with a rolled up scroll which he spread on the table in front of him. “Every member of the council signed this paper when they took seat on the council. And it in we all agreed that we would give the king time to find a bride of his choosing within a given amount of time that we could decide. This morning we told the king that his time to find a bride was coming to an end so now he has brought his choice to us. We agreed we wouldn’t stand in his way no matter who it was. Any that goes against that oath will be seen as a traitor to the crown for betraying an oath given to the king. Now are there any objections that you feel are worth that?” There was silence. “Your majesty may I be the first to congratulate you on your forthcoming marriage!” the prime minister smiled “When do you plan the wedding?”

She hadn’t expected the prime mister to support them so completely. She was shocked at first but she was very appreciative of his actions. She clung tight to his hand with hope that the others would be ok with what the prime mister had said. She looked at the room as they were now all silent. She felt happy. As the prime minster ask when they were to be married Lillian looked at Edwin, he would be the one to decide and how grand the wedding will be after all she didnt need a grand wedding or even one that is witnessed by anyone she just needed him.

Edwin had half forgotten about that agreement with his council and was so grateful to his prime minister for remembering details like that. Though that was his job. He blinked as no one seemed to be objecting to the logic of the prime minister and when they were asked that question he smiled and slipped his arm around Lily’s waist pulling her close. “Within the hour.” He smirked looking down at her brushing her cheek. “Unless you want to wait. Otherwise, Call the priest and see that it is done this very hour!”

Lillian was shocked that he was so ready to marry her, she knew he wanted her but with everything that had just happen she assumed he would want to wait. She looked at him and smiled. “Just as it was when we were children we make sure you get what you want” she teased and she kissed him not as passionately as she would liked but still a loving kiss “I will marry you right now I have waited my whole life and I am tired of waiting”

He smiled at her leaning down to kiss her back and nuzzle against her lips. “I couldn’t agree more my dearest. I thought I had lost you and to have you back is better than I could ever imagine. I’m not letting you go.” There were a couple sobs from the daughters of some of the nobles but he didn’t care. He took her hand to the comments of congratulations of many of the council and rushed out of the room with her in tow. He turned down the hall heading for the private chapel that was in the family wing of the castle knowing that there was always a priest on hand there. He stopped part way there gently drawing her behind a tapestry in an alcove where they were hidden from sight for a short time. “My dear, do you want me to get you a wedding dress before we get to the chapel...you look lovely as you are but you know I would take the time to do it for you.”

She smiled as she heard the sobs knowing he was about to be all hers and that other women wanted him so badly made her her feel even luckier that he choose her. She felt very happy as they rushed out the hall and towards the chapel she knew they would not have to wait long to be together forever now. But suddenly he stopped and drew her to a hidden place she laughed. “Why dont you step out from the tapestry and give me a moment and I am sure I can make something more apperate for a wedding”

He smirked at her and stole another kiss before he stepped out from behind the tapestry. “Its not like I haven’t seen all of you before.” He whispered softly and then sighed waiting. “While you are working on that perhaps you could also work on mine. You know I have no talent for transformation. It was always conjuration and evocation for me with your mother. You were the one that could change things at will.” He smiled wondering if she ever used any of that ability on her looks, not that he wanted her any different then she was but it could always be something a bit fun to play with after they were married as long as they both agreed and knew it was going on.

Lillian smiled at his request. She knew after all that his prime mister was spreading the word that the king was to be married on this day and she knew they would both need to make an appearance before his kingdom before they could retire for the evening so she new they both had to look nice. For Edwin she knew he didnt like the heavy clothes his father often wore so with a flick of her wrist She changed his clothes. For her she wanted to look pretty but she also wanted to please her soon to be husband. Here dress exposed her shoulders and had a sweet heart neckline that showed the tops of her breast and clung to every curve. She slowly stepped out from behind the tapestry.

Edwin felt the swirl of magic before he smiled looking down at himself and then cast a mild summoning making his sword appear, with belt and all which he strapped low around his hips the scabbard resting against this thigh. He waited for her and had to pick his chin up off the floor as she stepped out. “My god...Lillian.” He stepped closer to her before sweeping her up into his arm and kissing her hard. He soon let her go but only to look down at her beauty again. “I...you look amazing my love.”

He collected himself and took her hand before leading them on toward the chapel. He knew there would be some people there but he doubted many would have gathered in so short of a time.

She looked him over, she liked what she saw, he looked very handsome in the clothes she created for him. She kissed him deeply. “You look very handsome, I am going to remember this day for the rest of my days” she smiled and kissed him again before she turned with him to go into the chapel.

It just a matter of couple of days she freed from her prison, reunited with her love and was marrying him. Her mind was racing to be able to keep with how her life had changed so quickly.

Edwin slipped an arm around her waist and took her hand with his before walking her to the chapel. The room itself was small, meant for the royal family and maybe some visiting guests to attend a private mass on sundays. It seemed that most of the castle there both nobles and servants all the wish them well. Already room was at a premium in the chapel and if it hadn’t been needed the aisle they had to walk down would have been filled with people for now standing in the hall. As they came to the back of the group word was quickly passed up and people spread to the sides letting them through. Some of the older servants knew who she was and smiled most of the newer ones just gawked at how beautiful she was. There wasn’t a dry eye among the noble daughters all who had hoped to land themselves Edwin’s hand. Edwin gently led her down the aisle toward the priest who had been the chaplin for some time and knew Lily’s mother and came down to hug the girl. “My dear I was so glad to hear you were alive. I always said you two would end up married.”

Lillian couldnt believe the amount of people gathered to see them be married. She never expected anyone to turn up let alone the entire staff. She drew a deep breath and stood close to Edwin as they entered the chapel. She was worried the priest may be different then the one she remembered as a child and he would would refuse to marry them. But her fears were quickly found to be untrue and as the priest embraced her. “I am so glad to be alive” she laughed a little as she hugged the man. “I am so happy you are the one marry us” she said warmly.

Edwin smiled at the warm greeting between her and the priest before he sighed and took her hands turning her to face him on the steps heading up the the altar. He smiled brightly at her and though no word passed his lips he brushed her mind with his. “My dear heart...I should love to just run from all this spectacle I was hoping to marry you just us as it should be but I guess it was not to be.” He shrugged as the priest started into the ceremony the words intoning but he could barely hear them so lost in the eyes of his love as he was at that point. Somehow he heard the right points to speak his lines of “I do.” but only hoped that he was right and he had been supposed to speak then not her. As the rings were called for he realized the issue but just smiled and with a wave of his hand a ring of white gold slowly materialized around her finger with the gem of his house set in the top.

She heard his words inside her head and smiled. She didn’t say anything back she just kissed his cheek gently. Before turning the alter as the priest began to speak. her smile covered her whole face never thinking this day was ever going to happen and now here they were just as in love as when they were children. She said her I do’s and then smiled and looked at the ring on her finger. “It’s beautiful” she said and she held his hand a beautiful white gold band appeared with the Celtic symbol for love etched into it.

Edwin smiled looking as the white gold band appeared around his finger and looked up into her eyes. The priest didn’t say anything about the use of magic knowing full well who Lillian was and the power that Edwin possed. He motioned and the couple turned toward the gathered people. “May I present his Royal Highness King Edwin and his wife Lady Lillian.” There were cheers from those gathered there though some tears still showed in the eyes of the young daughters and mothers of the realm though they did their best to hide it all. After a moment Edwin held Lillian’s hand and led her down the aisle and turned out into the hallway assaulted by well wishers and people throwing grains from all sides. The crowd was probably going to follow them to the best of their ability and Edwin quickly stepped around and corner pulling his new bride with him slipping into one of the hidden passages to escape. He stood there with her gently pinned to the wall and listened. “Well I think we got away.” He looked to her smiling and then realized how close he was blushing slightly.

She was so happy as they turned to face the people gathered. She was finally free to love him as she wished. She was finally bound to him for as long as he would have her. Her heart never felt such joy knowing nothing could rip them apart again. As they made their way out of the church the people cheered and they seemed happy for their king she hoped that she would not disappoint them. When he pulled her into the hidden passage way to hide she laughed a little. “Its like when we were little we would hear your father coming and we hide in one these passage ways” her body was pressed to his now he could feel every curve of her body. “We dont have to hide anymore unless we want to”

Edwin smiled and gently pressed his body against hers feeling all those very desirable curves molding against his harder muscled form. His hands slipped to her waist rubbing slowly along the curve up toward the underside of her breasts supported so nicely in that dress. He leaned in nuzzling her lips with his own. “Mmm true we don’t have to hide but it sometimes is just more fun.” He smirked and kissed her softly his lips whispering against hers. “Besides I just wanted to get you alone as quickly as I could and these passages are perfect for that. And suddenly you being married to the king makes me want to do many naughty things to you.” He smirked as his one hand moved up cupping one of her breasts boldy through her dress the other moving down toward the inside of her thighs.

Her body was so small to compared to his, he was always taller and bigger than she was but she also thought it had to do with the fact they were children. But now she was like a little delicate flower and him a mighty tree. Lillian loved the feeling of his strong hands around her waist but they soon began to travel over her body. She gasped slightly as he cupped her breast through the dress. “I want you to claim as yours right away, I dont want there to be any reason for anyone to try to separate us, after what we went through I am so afraid of that....but you think your kingdom will allow that to happen or will they want to see their new married king and want to feel secure knowing you are now able to produce an heir”

He smiled and kissed her softly chuckling. “My dearest wife. Your main presentation to the kingdom will be after your coronation as queen. Those that need to know that I am wed already know because they were at the wedding.” His hand on her thighs pressed up against the skirt of her dress pressing between her legs to rub at her mound through the fabric. “Today there is nothing that needs done besides me taking you back to our bed chamber and ravishing you for the rest of the night.” His lips caught hers again before he kissed down her neck and collarbone. His hand on her breasts squeezing a bit rougher and teasing her nipple through the fabric.

She was glad when he said that there would be time later for her to be presented to the kingdom. She wasn’t ready now she was ready to be with him after years of being a part. After years of being lost to him. Years where they should have already been married. She felt him touch her more forcefully between her legs she gasped her head came down his shoulder a moment not expecting that. “Edwin maybe we should have back to your room then”

Edwin was rather set on a one track at the moment and had one idea of what he wanted but at the same time as he kissed her he felt her eagerness and desire but then her words hit his ears. He did want her badly and if she hadn’t of said anything he probably would have just taken her right there against the wall. But somewhere past the craving and desire and love he had for her he knew that for her first time it would be better if she was on a bed. He just hoped he could make it back to his room. He kissed her hard again stepping back so she wasn’t pinned to the wall. “Yeah we had better...but we should go through the hidden passages, and you might want to hurry.” He kissed her ear softly his voice a low growl. “I might not be able to wait till we get to bed if you don’t run.”

Her mouth found his again kissing him back though she was surprised by how strong his kiss was. She could sense he wanted to be with her badly, just as she wanted to be with him. But this was also her first time and she knew there would be some pain she also feared her body was still fraigile from the time spent in the tower. “I dont want my first time with you to be a hidden passage it feel like we are still hidding” she explained as she took his hand and headed to his chambers.

He agreed with her fully but at the same time he was burning with need for her and growled softly under his breath. He held her hand and rushed through the passageways. It was a good thing he knew them so perfectly from the years the two of them spent playing in them. After a short time he stopped and pressed a hidden stone which made part of the wall swing out. He stepped through pulling her with him out into his bedroom as the hidden door swung closed behind him. He lifted her up bridal style carrying her over to the bed and laying her down as he knelt over her kissing her heatedly.
