In the world of Terraria, humans live amongst the supernaturals but they hide out of fear. Being discovered as a human resulted in living the life of slavery, especially in the kingdom of Blythe. This kingdom is ruled over by a terrible man that is only known to those around him as Apocalypse. He is a man who takes no prisoners, and cares not about those around him. Either you are loyal to him or you are killed. Humans that live within Blythe are either there as slaves to the many supernaturals that live there, or they are hiding amidst the shadows hoping that they didn't get caught. Being a human in Blythe, in general, was a very dangerous thing and would most likely lead to your death.
But far east of Blythe, lay a kingdom of light and peace. The kingdom of Aetherial. A kingdom were all were welcomed and encouraged to live in harmony. Humans and supernaturals lived together as equals, and anybody who attempted to try and seem more superior was actually cast out of Aetherial. At least this had been how it was when the old leader had still been alive. A man who was a no nonsense type of person, and just wanted to see everybody get along...even at the cost of tossing innocents out of the safety of the kingdom. After his death, the daughter of his top general ended up stepping up as queen, which had been a shock to everybody. Ariel is the name of the current queen of Aetherial, a very kind and gentle angel, who empathized with those that were slaves on a personal level. She had once been a slave to the man that called himself the leader of Blythe, but this had been a very long time ago. Still today she found herself easily frightened, but with her constant companion at her side, she found that she could more easily face her fears.
Ariel was a very difficult queen, especially compared to her father. She was a strict pacifist that had no blood on her hands whatsoever....except from those that she healed. Her healing ability was something that was rarely seen....due to the fact that one had to be pure of heart to even use it. Ariel possessed the ability of crystal magic, one of the most powerful healing magics in the world.
"Ariel. Come. We must get going. Today is when we meet with that vile man." came the familiar voice of her companion which had Ariel turning around, her white gown fluttering a bit in the breeze as she headed in from the balcony. Her long white hair was pulled up into a tight braid, and purple eyes were locked onto the other female that stood in the room. Rosalie, more commonly known as Rose, was one of her closest and most trusted companions. She was the daughter of Lucifer, who had dubbed himself as Ariel's godfather since she was technically the daughter of Michelangelo, not that Ariel really got to meet her father at all, not with having been taken from him a young age and then watching him get murdered the same day that she was named queen.
Ariel gave a nod before she spoke, "Yes let us be going then." With that she was drifting after Rose so that she could leave her rooms. Upon leaving the room she was greeted by a young man who looked exactly as she did, although in comparison to her pure white hair, he had hair as dark as night. "Stay safe sister dear." the male spoke as he wrapped his arms around that of Ariel and kissed her on the forehead. "Don't worry Andrew, I shall." she promised that of her twin brother then inclined her head in greeting to Lucifer as he walked up with his son, Lance. The males were giving the two females hugs and telling them to be safe before sending them off outside to the carriage that was awaiting them. Never would they take to flying, not after what had happened last time.
This meeting with Apocalypse had been planned for the last three months and neither young women were prepared for it whatsoever, but it was hard to be prepared for it. Rose already knew that it was going to more than likely end with the two of them running for their lives, or Rose having to kill some people. But that was a job that she would do with no problem. She had no qualms about killing, despite her rather innocent appearance. But despite the innocent appear the twenty-one year old red head was a force to be reckoned with. Especially if you put her scythe in hand, and allowed her to go all out. When it came to Rose and Lance.... it was definitely Rose that was the more deadly one. She was unpredictable and would use any means necessary to win.
