Obsidian listened to Midir's words, he listened to her whole story. He trusted her but was in disbelief that Gabriel was his mother. "So this Angel says she was my mother, give me a minute to speak with her" With that he kissed Midir on the head, then bend down and kissed his daughter on the forehead.
He then went over to Gabriel and said "You cannot be my mother, she died during labor. She also lost her wings when I was conceived." Gabriel smiled and said "Your right, I did lose my wings when I concieved you, and Angel can not give birth to another being. So in order to make sure you wouldn't die in the womb I lost my wings. Then I did die during child birth, without my holy powers my body was weak. Though after I died I went right back to heaven and got my wings back."
Gabriel then reached out and wrapped her arms around Obsidian and held him close tears forming in her eyes. "I am so sorry I left you and your father all alone.... I never meant to. I know I don't have the right to act like a mother. There are rules for the seraphim and when they came come down to earth. I have always watched you from afar. From the moment you spread your wings, until now." Hearing her warm words and seeing her tears Obsidian couldn't help but shed tears of his own as he wrapped his arms around Gabriel saying "Its okay Mom, your hear now, you did your best... I am just happy I could meet you."
With that the rumble that erutped from where David had been thrown. Black and gold energy parted the clouds in the sky and out came David holding onto the spear. His skin had turned black and his eyes gold. "I WILL JUST FUCKING KILL YOU ALLL! ANGELS!! FALLEN ANGELS!! DEMONS!! DRAGONS!!! YOUR ALL FUCKING DEAD!!!" The power coming from David was unreal.
Gabriel and obsidian let go of each other and Obsidian. Gabriel then turned to Midir and said "Why don't you let me hold my grand daughter why you and Obsidian deal with this. She is safe in my hands. Definitely safe then on you while you fight David" Obsidian then turned to Midir and nodded, letting her know it was okay.
