Revival (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

The girl moved in an instant, moving at speeds like the weights suddenly weighed nothing, rushing at Mitsunari, letting out a scream of rage.

He didn't move, or at least it didn't seem like he did, before the girl was suddenly sent flying backward. He had smacked her so hard and so fast with the sheathe of his odachi that it seemed he was standing completely still.

The girl only got up again and again, attacking him over and over- or at least trying. It took about a dozen times before the child was exhausted, kneeling at Mitsunari’s feet and breathing heavily. Her eyes still burned with her fury, but she recognized that this man was much stronger than her.

The child actually seemed rather affected by his scolding, keeping her gaze downcast, her head hanging.

The girl could feel him speaking, the metal under her feet vibrating with each word he spoke, but when the vibrations changed from yelling to slightly softer, she looked up. She blinked, having missed what he had said entirely.

She could read his lips this time, but didn’t really understand what he was saying. Hanbei has done his best to try and educate Subject Two, but her fits of rage always disrupted her lessons, leaving her books destroyed, so after a while, he stopped teaching her.

"You will be in my care until Hanbei-sama has recovered from his illness. Which means any other fits will be met with swift discipline. Do you understand?" He stated.

She only stared- discipline? What did that word mean? She made a small noise, but other than that, she gave little response, but how could she give a proper response with a muzzle on?

He exhaled and moved over, removing the muzzle from her mouth and stepping away slowly. Other than how stiff his movements usually were, he didn't come off as threatening, or at least he didn't try to.

She still had a nasty bruise on the side of her face, but she seemed to appreciate having the muzzle off. “Discipline..” She repeated, voice garbled, like she didn’t talk much to begin with.

She still didn’t understand, frowning more, but not asking anything else. She had sharp teeth, which he could see even with her mouth closed, a small fang peeking out from under her lip.

“Uneducated.” She repeated, well at the very least she understood what he was saying, even if she didn’t know what the words meant. Hanbei wasn’t one to leave any of his work unfinished, not intentionally, but perhaps he had a hard time teaching this child; understandable.

He made a noise, "I'll have that fixed, then." He stated, "I am told your punishment for failing Hanbei-sama is no water and food. Once that has been lifted, I will begin training you to control that rage you have."

The child hates her teeth at Mitsunari, but it almost looked like a mixture of a smile, and something close to a snarl. What an odd girl.
A week would fly by in no time, and when her punishment was finally lifted, Subject Two was brought to Mitsunari in the training room, still adorned in her restraints.

Mitsunari was there with Yoshitsugu, who had a platter of food waiting for her. "Why don't we fill that empty stomach of yours, hm?" Yoshitsugu asked.

The girl looked excited to see food, nodding and trying to pull at her muzzle to get it off, Hanbei’s assistant always had it put back on when testing her, not wanting to take any chances.

The second the muzzle was off, the child was down on her knees in front of the platter, scarfing down the food like a dog, not caring that her arms were still restrained by the straight jacket. She ate as much as she could as quickly as she could, not caring one bit for manners.

Subject Two immediately whipped her head around and sank her teeth into his hand, letting out what sounded like a growl as she did so. She was barely human, more animal than a child, even some of the new guard dogs they received acted better than this.
