Kai was carried away and he knew he was being transported away and he just could not move. Then Kai woke up and saw Akemi, Ryu, Satoe. He felt bruising on his neck. "What the hell happened..." Kai was still very weak after losing a lot of blood. Kai could not stand up and the group helped him leave, he needs a hospital.

Satoe carried Kai to a car. "Seems like more targets to hunt, let me know if there are more missions, I'm bringing this guy to the hospital." Saote said and drove to the hospital. "Glad to see you alive. And now, you owe us a favor. See, we are on the same team."
Satoe dropped Kai off at the hospital and the paramedics quickly attended to him. There was not much wrong with him except the blood loss and they transfused a pint of blood into him and let him rest in the bed.

A lady strangled her victim and snapped his neck. "You will not be distributing drugs again." She said and cleaned her sword. The room was littered with men in suits, and she carefully checked on the men on the ground, stabbing the throat of a man twitching on the ground.
As she was exiting the building, a smoke grenade exploded beside her and a team of SWAT officers charged into the building. The first SWAT officer walked into the smoke and a dagger was shoved under his throat into his head. A fist punched another officer's throat and his helmet was pulled aside and twisted violently. "Where did these cops come from?" The lady muttered and she grabbed a fat SWAT officer and rammed a few fists into his back, placed his helmet under her armpits and snapped his neck.
"Officer down!" A voice shouted and the lady rolled beside a SWAT officer and impaled him with her sword. "Get her!" The other SWAT fired at her and she dived out of the window and landed beside a few uniformed cops in the back alley. "Freeze!" a cop shouted and the lady moved with an unnatural grace and speed and she slit the throats of 3 cops and grabbed his gun. The cop was pulled towards her and she grabbed him in a neck lock. The cop flailed briefly and as she saw flashlights approaching, she snapped his neck.
She leaped and hid under the back stairs as another group of cops approached. "Shit, everyone is dead..." The lady landed on the cop and threw 2 shuriken into the eyes of 2 cops and she grabbed the cop under her and snapped his neck. A plump cop fired his gun and missed her and she punched his ribs, breaking his ribs and disarmed him. The cop was trembling and she placed his head under her thighs and choked him silently.
The lady exited the alley and moved behind an old cop and clubbed his head. Suddenly, a rifle shot was heard and the lady's head was blown off. Many other cops rushed to the scene and the SWAT officers arrived and checked on her. The lady looked like a ninja, (Thunder of Devotion) with climbing tools, and several swords. Her head was blown off.
This was an elaborate setup, a ninja organization was engaged to take down a drug lord and at the same time, the elite cops were called while an expert sniper took her out. The cops took her corpse back and she had dark fur and a tail, looking more like a cat than a person under her uniform. "Ninjas?" A cop muttered.

Kai was given a thumb drive by Ryu and was confused. He kept it in his pocket and minutes later, a doctor gave him a final check up before they discharged him. Several other cops came to his room and a cop said, "Uncle Keisuke, how are you feeling?" Kai's patrol team came to escort Kai home.

Satoe and Akemi spent the day watching a drift event. There were M3, RX7 and 350z in the event as well. Some of the drivers were also female. The drift event had beer and hotdogs, all of which were overpriced, but Satoe felt that they deserved a treat, at least for defeating the werewolves. The event was rather fun and exciting and Satoe met one of her contact at the event.
"You still doing the contract thing?" The man asked.
"Why do you ask?" Satoe replied.
"Some ninja killed a druglord and a bunch of cops." The man said.
"Ninja?" Satoe asked.
"Yup, black uniform, swords and all.. Too bad the ninja was shot and killed." The man said.
Satoe laughed. "Ninjas today?"
As Satoe returned to Akemi, she suddenly had a realization. "What if that was an assassin from Thunder of Devotion?" And quickly, Satoe informed Akemi what had happened.

Kai reached home after the other cops left, he was very curious what was on the thumb drive. Kai took a shower and decided to check out the contents of the drive. Kai read the contents and searched on the vampires and the cops.
There may be many other dirty cops, more than what Kai know about. After looking at the information, Kai realized that 2 rogue vampires may be in his patrol area. "This is very familiar." Kai muttered. He kept the drive in his safe and rest for the rest of the day, ready to go to work tomorrow.

"So with the death, did the cops start a war?" Satoe asked. "But anyway, could that old cop be in danger? He seems kinda nice."
Satoe and Akemi continued to watch the final races, it was really exciting and relaxing for Satoe not to think about work. Satoe was very simple with simple needs and did not want to know more about other clans or supernatural creatures, just one target at a time.

There's more information on that usb drive that might be vital to him, cause he has to realize something is off about this police force.
Kai put on his uniform and went to the station. He was the sergeant in charge today and he read the notes and gave out the patrol routes. Kai placed a few more patrols near some of the vampire lairs that he knew to make sure the vampires take more caution and don't do anything stupid. Then Kai was at the front desk doing some paperwork and responding to the public.
In the Northeast district, there was some violence and fights and 2 civilians were injured. More officers were sent to support as it may be gang related. Then the fight escalated and the cops were mobilized and Kai had to put on armor and respond.
It was a gang fight, 2 factions were involved and the violence spilled out in the streets. The police arrived and chased the trouble makers into alleys and arrested some of them. Kai went into an alley with a few reinforcements and searched. "this is very close to a known location of a rogue vampire..." Kai muttered and as they looked around, Kai spotted one of the gangsters, unconscious. "Hey guys, found one..." Kai then went around the corner and saw another unconscious man. "Here, another one..."
Paramedics came and brought the unconscious men out and the cops secured the alley to search for the attackers. Kai found a back door ajar and signaled the officers to come. "Police! We are armed." Kai shouted and entered. The light switch was broken and Kai took out his flashlight and searched. "Iro... over there..." Kai pointed and checked a room. Kai saw something moving and followed it and looked around the corner into a dark room. "Hello?" Kai shouted. "Got some movements here guys..."
The building looked abandoned and there were parts with some proof of human habitation some time ago. "Something is not right... I can feel it..." Kai muttered and heard muffled moans. Kai rushed over and saw a person dragging a cop. "Freeze! Don't mov..." A dark shape darted and the person was gone.. "Officer do..." Suddenly a hand covered Kai's mouth as he grabbed the radio. There was static and he did not even have a signal here and his neck was grabbed and he was choked.
Kai woke up and gasped for breadth. he was knocked out. He searched for his flashlight and he saw 3 other cops beside him and a lady with a stake on her chest. "Hey!" Kai shouted as he saw a person pulling a syringe out from the lady and Kai quickly got up and his flashlight got slapped away and his mouth was covered. Kai struggled as he was subdued and cuffed as the person placed a knee on his back and used his cuffs on him. A fist rammed into Kai's gut and Kai felt something rip inside and collapsed in pain. Kai saw 2 more flashlights approaching and a dark figure moving up to them and within seconds, the flashlights were on the ground and he saw a fat cop unconscious and another cop choking above the lady with the stake. The cop kicked and flailed helplessly and kicked the lady over and the lady was kicked off a platform.
Kai searched for his hidden cuff keys and uncuffed himself and saw the figure checking on the lady and stomping the stake deep into her chest. He took out lighter fluid and started pouring on the lady. "Noooo.." Kai shouted and charged the man. Kai could not see well in the dark and the man was gone where Kai last saw him and Kai was grabbed again. Kai was punched in his back and the grip on his neck tightened. He could not feel his legs and he pawed helplessly at the person. Then 2 more flashlights approached. Kai dropped to the ground gasping and choking. Then the room became brighter and Kai saw the lady on fire and all the other cops on the ground beside him. Kai struggled to get up and saw another plump old cop getting up and the plump cop tried to put out the fire by throwing his jacket over the fire and trying to put it out.
Kai was in pain. The blows hurt a lot and the fire woke a few more cops up and they put out the fire. The room smelled like burning flesh and it was dark again. Then a unholy screech was heard and Kai was covered in fear. "What the fuck..." Kai shouted and he heard screams and gurgling sounds. Kai searched around for a flashlight and reached a flashlight. A few crunch sounds were heard and Kai turned on the flashlight and saw the naked lady healing her wounds and drinking from a cop in her arms. "What the hell...." Kai shouted. "Help!"

"We tried to save you from the burning..." Kai muttered and the lady licked his face.
"Oh, how nice.." A pretty female voice said. "you smell really tasty..."
"Sarge?" A cop muttered and Kai was tossed aside.
"Be careful..." Kai shouted and heard muffled moans.
"noooo...." Kai shouted and looked around for his flashlight again. He found a cop and found a cell phone and turned it on and saw the cop dead on the ground with his throat crushed. "Fuck...."
His mouth was covered and his head tilted back. "You think I've forgotten you?" A voice said and the lady kissed Kai. "Oh my god.. you smell so good...."
Kai trembled in fear and the lady bit into his neck again. There was estacy, a familiar feeling he felt. "I'm completely healed, but boy, you taste good...." The lady said and grabbed Kai's wallet and looked at his name. "Keisuke Tachikawa" The lady said and licked his wounds and closed it. Kai was dazed as the lady walked away.
The paramedics came and an officer was dead and 4 cops were pale. They checked on Kai and he was just in shock and had a few bruises. "Do you want to go to the hospital for a check up?" A paramedic asked but Kai declines. He staggered towards a few more men and said. "A monster killed our brother, she is a female, mid 20's, blonde hair, shoulder length. Very dangerous. Call for backup and use what ever force to take her down."
Kai remembered the address of the vampire in this area and took 6 men and looked in the area. It was a dark alley leading to basement and Kai saw the door ajar again. Kai searched briefly and went down the stairs and looked. "Be careful, suspect may be dangerous." Kai was determined to look for the vampire who killed his friend.
Kai entered a nice room and used his flashlight to look around. "how did you find this..." A voice said and Kai was grabbed and the lady stared into his eyes. Kai was dazed and she kissed him. "Keisuke, what a good tracker, under estimated you... You win a prize..."

A paramedic asked but Kai declines. He staggered towards a few more men and said. "A monster killed our brother, she is a female, mid 20's, blonde hair, shoulder length. Very dangerous. Call for backup and use what ever force to take her down."
Kai remembered the address of the vampire in this area and took 6 men and looked in the area. It was a dark alley leading to basement and Kai saw the door ajar again. Kai searched briefly and went down the stairs and looked. "Be careful, suspect may be dangerous." Kai was determined to look for the vampire who killed his friend.
Kai entered a nice room and used his flashlight to look around. "how did you find this..." A voice said and Kai was grabbed and the lady stared into his eyes. Kai was dazed and she kissed him. "Keisuke, what a good tracker, under estimated you... You win a prize..."

It was a nice day spent at the tracks. There were a few missions which Satoe did not want to take, and Satoe went shopping. There were some gang fights on the streets and Satoe avoided the fights and simply did not care. Satoe had a nice rare steak and searched for nice desserts and went to Harajuku and had some freshly made desserts.
When the store closed, Satoe went to an Izakaya and met some other friends for drinks and as she was going home, she saw a few cops at a road block and thought about Kai. "Wow, Did not see cops as people... but the old cop seemed nice. Maybe I'll look for him tomorrow."

Later that night, Ryu was getting a good night sleep when her phone begins to ring, she wasn't expecting to get a phone call late in the night. So, she answered it, it was from Aki.
"Hello Ms. Ryu, I'm sorry if I have to call you at this time of night, but something happened hours ago. Police were called in to a domestic dispute, they were trying to apprehend the perpetrators, but they were violently attacking by a vampire."
"A vampire?" questioned Ryu.
"Yes, apparently it has attacked some of cops, managing to kill at least one of them, they manage to get the gender, but not the name, Kai was among the many cops to escape injury. They say she was was staked at the chest, but she managed to heal her wounds by sucking the blood out of a deceased cop."
"Hmm, she must be a somewhat different variant of vampire," Ryu said "I might want to talk to you one on one first thing in the morning."
"That's sounds okay." Aki responded.
"Oh before I go, what about the USB drive that I handed to Kai?"
Aki sighed, "I know you would say that, apparently those vampires somehow manage to find out about it, but we're not sure if it's stolen."
"Well, this is not working out in my favor, alright, I'll talk you in the morning." Ryu hangs, before going back sleep.

The cop behind Kai was grabbed and choked silently as Kai turned the corner and Kai felt something amiss. He paused and grabbed his tazer. As he turned the corner, he saw a limp cop on the ground. "Backup!" Kai shouted on the radio and he was grabbed and shoved to the wall. A forearm was pressed on his throat and Kai shoved the tazer into the neck of the attacker and he was shocked. Kai quickly applied cuffs on the man and subdued him and took a photo
"Ok asshole. Enough with the attacking of cops." Kai said and kicked the man. "One of my men died yesterday. The lady on fire survived and killed him."
Kai walked over and jabbed the baton into his ribs. "Come on, talk..." The man suddenly tripped Kai and grabbed him. The man wrapped his cuffs around Kai's neck. Kai was strangled and the man released Kai. "I can snap your neck..." The man said and Kai trembled slightly and the man kicked him in the gut.
The man moved behind 2 cops who arrived and the cops necked were grabbed and choked. They flailed helplessly and went limp. "Your backup is useless.." The man said to Kai. "We just want to kill the vampire, did not want the cops to die." The man searched Kai for cuff keys and Kai grabbed another cuff and cuffed himself to the man.
"Do you have a death wish?" The man said "I don't want to kill cops"
The man punched Kai, but Kai had heavy armor on and headbutted the man. "Ow.. you fucking old cop..." The man shouted and started punched Kai. "Fuck..." more cops arrived and the man started punching a fat cop and choked him but he had Kai on the other hand. Soon, more cop arrived and they started to beat him down and eventually he was arrested.
Kai had many bruises and sat in the paddy wagon with the man. "You may think you are some sort of fancy clan member or hot shot assassin, but when you attack cops, you go to jail in this city..." The man was cuffed in the van and Kai walked over. "After you do your time, let us help you. This is our city too."

Satoe grilled some steaks and started making a stew. On a wet gloomy day, Satoe loved making stew as it takes a long time. After putting the seared steak into the dutch oven, Satoe began to sharpen her knives. When everything is done, Satoe texted Akemi. [Beef Stew ready in 2 hours, don't be telling me about any missions today. I hate working in the rain.]
Satoe started cleaning her guns. Rainy days are great for weapon maintenance. Then Satoe put the dough into the oven to make bread to go with the stew. It would be a nice day to stay in, but secretly, Satoe hoped that the weather would clear and there would be a mission.

She asked him, "That's the first, to see a mortal like you to subdue something far beyond normal. Normally I would send Akemi to take care of him, but since she has been ignoring my message; I guess she's probably enjoying her time off, since she does a lot more missions. That's a problem we have to deal with year after year, supernatural assassin claiming they're working for us, but we have no clear evidence of them working for us. We strictly forbid the attacking of any cops, unless they're on the wrong side of the law. This is what I call your first achievement."

Kai did not want to talk much to Ryu and did not believe a word she said, and Kai checked on the assassin as he was being processed and sent to a holding cell. "This guy is extremely dangerous." Kai said and went to the changing room. Kai took off his uniform and felt sores and aches. He saw many bruises and abrasions. "Fuck... what a shitty day." Kai said and looked out of the window to see lightning and rain.
Kai walked to his car in the basement of the police station and suddenly, a hand covered his mouth. "Found you... old piggy..." IT sounded like the vampire lady and was choked silently.

Satoe's bread was ready. She took it out from the oven and kept it in a bread box on the table. She opened up a bottle of red wine and went to do a quick change before Akemi arrived. Satoe went to her bedroom and saw one of her bent daggers on the ground as she pulled out her jeans. "Oh, nearly forgot this. The dagger which failed to kill the skinwalker. The creature that kills its victims and takes their identity. Did not really kill it, wonder where it went."

She put the poncho before getting out, she pulled out her key fob, she press the lock button, once for locking the door, once more for the car to make a short honk. She walked by her driveway and approached, with the rain pouring down her poncho, she knocked on the door and waited.

Aki was down there to check up on Kai to see how he was doing lately, but then she noticed a very unusual bite mark, she knows that another vampire had already got to him once again.

At the police station, a cop was checking the cells and saw a man on the ground with some blood around him. He got another cop to come and they entered the cell. They checked on the man and he had a broken nose and was limp.
A man reached behind the rear cop and covered his mouth. A quick punch at the back of the cop's head and he went limp. The other cop turned and a hand covered his mouth and the man jab into his soft gut. The cop gave out muffled moans and the man grabbed his head and choked him.
The man stripped the cops and put on their uniform and exited. He walked towards a fat cop reading a magazine and grabbed his neck and choked him on the ground. The fat cop kicked and flailed and went limp. The cop was dragged under the table and an old cop entered the cell area and the man approached. "What a waste of my time." The man said and gripped the side of the neck of the old cop. The old cop was shocked and his eyes rolled back and went limp.
It was in between shifts and the man walked towards a detective he met earlier. The man saw another balding cop in the room and choked the cop silently. The cop was shoved under the desk and he walked up to the detrctive. The man covered his mouth and grabbed a pencil and placed it in front of his eye and said. "Delete the data you have on me, or I'll shove this pencil in your eye."
The detective nodded and searched for the file and deleted it.
The man walked towards the impound and waited till a cop entered the secured area. Before the door closed, the man entered and grabbed the cop. The cop flailed as he could not breathe and the man approached a short cop with white hair. "I want my stuff back." The man said and grabbed him in a neck lock. "Don't make me snap your neck."
The short cop was very obedient and found all of the man's gear and the man cuffed him and gagged him. He looked around and saw a few interesting items in the police lockup and heard, "Hmmm, where's everyone?"
A police sergeant approached and the man shoved him to a shelf and punched his throat. The sergeant choked and flailed and grabbed a box and an urn inside dropped and ashes fell on the ground. "This is bad..." The man said and a dark shadow escaped the urn into the sergeant and the sergeant collapsed and the man grabbed his neck and snapped it. The dark shadow exited his nose and moved out of the impound area. "Oh shit..."

Satoe let Akemi in and showed her to the dining room. "Here is the stew, some freshly baked bread and a bottle of wine." The Satoe saw the bent dagger on the table and walked over to keep it. The house was otherwise in immaculate condition as Satoe was very neat and methodical in her approach to things.

"I don't know how you got out of your cell, but you're getting your ass right back in there. I suggest you don't try anything stupid to get yourself out of this mess."
