It's a reference to a Tool song Vicarious and I get a childish amusement in it also being more or less the purpose of the hobby. Experiencing new stories vicariously through the characters we create. Vicariously I.
Once upon a time, I regularly went by snyperwulff, but people kept asking "are you The Sssniperwolf". This name I think was just a joke at one point and it just kinda stuck.
I can't recall if I have posted in here or not but going to touch on mine. I love canons, and, well c'mon 69 is just the right number for a place like this.
When someone proposes something and I reply with 'No,' and then they ask, 'Why no, NahRider?' they're forced to say an actress's name, which I find kinda funny.
Other than that, it's a night rider, Ni Knights reference and one other thing in my native language. So it's multilayered - but only toe-level deep and rather silly. shrugs
I like to consider localsleezebag as a legacy username of mine. I used it when I first started really getting into rping on an app, and on kik [ew I know]. I was like 14 and was really deep into 2014 grunge tumblr at the time. So it sort of was born from that and sleezebag was already taken. Now, I keep it 'cause its steeped in that like allure of my first love for writing when I was young and became totally addicted to creating worlds with others. So now its nostalgic and getting back into RP again I want to hold onto that feeling again an adult.
tomura + yandere = tomuyan
originated from an inside joke(?) between myself and a friend, discussing the yandere possibilities of different characters. had to differentiate from "usual" character and "yandere" character in discussion so it became that they'd get the -yan(dere) suffix to denote yandere-ification.
but also the -yan suffix ended up cutesying up the character names too so it became like a little nickname for them too ;w;
