The two sat in silence until the test had finished, which was when Morgan walked to the counter and looked at the test. She immediately pulled out her phone and called Finn. "Finn? No, I just need you to send Diego over here. No Marceline is... okay... Kay thanks. Bye." She walked over and hugged Marceline. "Whatever happens I'll be here for you."
 
Finn sighed, wondering what was going on. Diego and Marceline had been avoiding each other for the last three weeks. Heck, he hasn't even seen much of Diego lately. "Hey Diego, Morgan says you need to see Marceline..." Diego said as he opened the room... which was dusty and empty. Finn became worried. "Hey Jake! When I went on that mission for PB, when did Diego come back?" he asked.

"I dun know man. I think he came back like three weeks ago, but I haven't seen him since," Jake said after a moment. "But I figured he just came in ater we went to bed," he added. "No, he didn't. BMO has not seen Diego in those three weeks either," BMO said with a tone of concern. Finn went to call Morgan.

"It's Finn! Diego's not here! Like, he's been missing for weeks apparently and... Jake said that PB hasn't seen him either. Like... Diego doesn't do this. Something happened," Finn said with growing concern to Morgan.

Somewhere in a far-off forest, a figure had been walking through. He has been walking through with a hollow look. Diego did not take it well. Having undergone a mental breakdown, his robotic side took over, going through the motions in an autopilot to keep him alive, but the lack of contact with anyone meant he has not been stirred from this for weeks.
 
Morgan sighed, "Okay, I'll be over in less than half an hour." She hang up and dialed a different number. "Hey, Dad. I need a favor, can you come over to Marceline's? I gotta go do something and I really don't think she should be alone right now. Kay, thanks." She hung up before she headed up the ladder.

"I don't need a baby sitter." Marceline yelled at her.

"Oh I'm sorry, but you don't have a choice." Morgan grabbed her backpack, stuffing her night vision goggles, infrared goggles, and a jacket in. "Because you freaked out on Diego, he's been missing for three weeks." She slid down the the ladder and headed to the kitchen. "Now I have to go find your baby daddy, before he dies." She shoved a few bottles of water and granola bars in the bag before zipping it up and putting on her back.

"Don't call him that." Marceline said still angry.

"What else am I supposed to call him? You clearly don't care enough to have noticed that he's fucking missing." Morgan yelled as the doorbell rang. She walked over and opened it.

"Hi." The Ice King said with a wave.

Morgan let him and walked out after, sticking her head back in, "And do yourself, Diego, and whatever is growing inside you a favor and figure your shit out while I'm gone, coz I'm gonna tell you right now, Marceline, your feelings don't fucking matter anymore. You have a kid to worry about now and that's whose feelings matter. By the time I get back, your ass better have decided if you're gonna be with Diego or not." She slammed the door and left, arriving at Finn and Jake's about fifteen minutes later. She knocked on the door.
 
Luckily for everyone, Finn and Jake had called someone else to help track their lost friend and she arrived some time before Morgan did. "I heard Diego vanished. And I brought equipment that could help," said Princess Bubblegum, arriving in her jeans and hoodie. She had been looking on a map along with the guys while she was calibrating equipment when Morgan knocked on the door.

"Hello Morgan, come in. Finn, Jake and I are planning perimeters for our search. However, why did you request Diego to come over in the first place?" Princess Bubblegum asked her, the last part quietly so the two of them could talk.

Ice King meanwhile sat on the sofa next to Marceline. His daughter needed his help and Marceline was his friend so it was no problem. However, it was pretty awkward and quiet. He then found something in the sofa. He grabbed it.

"Hey, who's this?" Ice King said as he showed Marceline an oldpicture, it was one of young Marceline and her mother, one of the few pictures of her back when she was alive.
 
"Hey, guys." Morgan said walking in. "I brought night vision and infrared goggles. Also some water and food in case he needs it." She sighed and whispered to Bubblegum, "Marceline got a plus sign on a pregnancy test and its Diego's."

Marceline smiled, taking the picture. "My mom. She died about a thousand years ago, I barely remember her. I don't even remember if my parents were in a relationship."
 
"That's surprising and I'm not sure if possible. Diego's micro-biology is unique. From analysis from blood and testing it, I theorized that if he did have a child, it would inherit the cellular robots since they would replicate in the body. However, I'm not sur eon the details. After all, he has some control over his microbots and they appear to have subconscious commands so I would assume that would include choice regarding to pregnancy," Princess Bubblegum hurriedly whisered to Morgan.

"Well, the most likely scenario is that Diego is still alive. His microbots are capable of sustaining his nutrients and he knows how to get food for himself. However, I am not sure what triggered this, so we need to be careful," Princess Bubblegum told them.

"Hope he's all right. He... he doesn't do well when alone," Finn expresses out loud in concern. "Yeah, he kinda gets a bit nuts," Jake added. "From the monitoring equipment, especially with the new Candy Kingdom satellites, he apepars to be overe here... in a rather faroff forest," she noted.

"Well, you're lucky you can still remember stuff," Ice King sat as he pulled his knees. "She looks about as old as you are though. She did a good job taking care of you," Ice King mentioned. "Wonder what she would say if she was here?" he murmured.
