It's Just Human Nature (MysteriousD/DaddysLittleSkank)

Morgan returned with something behind her back. "I got you something." She said with a mischievous smile before presenting Finn with a katana. "I figured you should have a human made one to add to your collection, and what pretty blade than a katana?" The grip of the sword was what was to be expected of a katana with black material wrapped elegantly around it. The cross guard was a rectangle designed to look as if it where made of intertwining string. The thin fuller had a long Asian dragon craved into it that extended the full length with the head starter near the cross guard and the tail tapering off with the fuller itself. The pommel consisted of what appeared to be a dragon's claw holding a large red orb that appeared to have a spindly star design on it. The scabbard was made of a blackish material with flacks of red, orange, and yellow in it.

Marceline turned around, saying, "You should go get dressed and everything. After I clean myself up I'll get my dad."

Fiin took the sword and his eyes grew wide in awe as he looked at the sword. It looked absolutely and postively mathematical. "This is AWESOME!" Finn shouted excitedly. "Where did you get this? How? I don't think it was cheap getting something like this, especially since Choose Goose works hard to find his wares," he said as he admired the sword. He out it on his back and smiled before he hugged Morgan tightly as thanks.

"All right, so we're both shower then?" Diego said as he stood up and helped her stand up. "You wanna shower sepertely or together?" Diego asked her with a smile while he embraced Marceline.

"I have my ways." Morgan said with a smirk crossing her arms.

"I took one last night." Marceline told him. "I just have to get dressed, brush my hair, brush my teeth, and wash my face. Then I'll probably clean up around the house a bit before I summon my dad."

"Morgan, I don't want you o give up something big for this," Finn told her, knowing that the fancy teasures that Choose Goose could charge big things for those sorts. "Thanks, it means alot," Finn says as he looked at the sword. "I can't wait to slay some nasty evil with it," he said with a smile before he got something from his backpack and gave to her. "I got you something too," he said as he pulled a gift.

"All right, I'll go shower them first, sweetie," Diego told her before he leaned to kiss her while he hugged her. He loved being with Marceline and wanted to make her happy. Diego stripped and entered the shower, turning on the hot water.

"You should have something from your heritage." Morgan said. "And if you drop a hair above it, that sword should split it." Morgan looked a bit surprised. "You did?"

Marceline did everything she had to before making making breakfast for the two. "Breakfast." She had picked out a sweater to cover her small baby bump but she had her tank top on underneath to take off after telling her Dad.

"Hertiage? Like, where is this sword from?" Finn asked her before he couldn't help but try why Morgan said and sure enough, it did work. "That's amazing," Finn said with a smile before he gave it to Morgan, the gift. It was a black box and when she would it open, it had rows of beautiful looking arrowheads. "I had a friend of mine go and get magical arrowheads from Wizard City," he told her with a smile.

Diego stepped out of the shower and got clothed up so he could meet Hunson Abadeer before he came over to see Marceline. He went over to hug and kiss her. "What did you make?" Diego asked her with a smile as he still had his arms around her. He was a very huggy person, that's how he was.

Morgan smiled when she opened the box. "Oh Finn they're awesome!" She hugged him and in her excitement kissed his cheek. "You're the best!"

"Pancakes." She grabbed two plates and placed a couple pancakes on both before handing one of the plates to Diego. She grabbed some syrup and some fresh cut strawberries to put on her pancakes. "I think this kid is gonna be a vamp coz I am craving strawberries more than usual."

Finn blushed a bright shade of red, yet he got a smile on his face and chuckled goofily at the kiss. It was really nice and he liked being able to feel these warm feelings for Morgan. He recognized the growing feelings, but they were different. They were deeper as well. "I'm glad you like them," Finn told her as they got over a hill and there was a cave. "There it is," he pointed out. He then was thinking. "Oh yeah, PB was wondering when your birthday was," he said.

"They'd be awesome because they'd be a vampiric quarter-demon cyborg," Diego said with a dorky smile before he got the chair for Marceline to sit down before he sat down himself. "Though I thought vampirism didn't spread through genetics," he said to her.

Morgan took her box off and smirked, "Ready when you are?"

"I have no idea." Marceline said referring to whether or not vampirism was genetic. "It's not like I can ask someone."

Finn nodded to her with a smile as he began leading her down the hill into the cave. It was barely lit with torches and it seemed to sprawl down there. The cave also had a narrow passage and gate a rusty gate keeping it closer.

"Let's do this!" Finn shouted as he kicked the rusty door in.

"Whatever happens, we have each other and our child has us," Diego said before he huffed Marceline and kissed her. "I love you son much," he told her, affection blantly visible in his eyes. He dug into the pancakes.

"Finn told be you had a lullaby that your mom taught you. Could I hear it?" he asked her.

Morgan rushed in only to be greeted by an empty room. "Must be out to lunch or something..." she said scanning the room. There were no enemies, no treasure, nothing. "And brought everything with them..."

"Maybe later." Marceline said finishing her meal. "If you do the dishes, I'll go get started with the whole dad thing."

Finn paused and looking into the empty room. Being a seasoned veteran of adventuring, he was taught by his Dad to look through everything to see if there was no secret or something. "One of the things that Dad taught me was to look for the surprises," Finn said before he crouched down and extended his arm to press a small switch on the floor and saw a trap door open in front of them. "Yeah, that would've dropped us into the dungeon if we weren't careful," Finn told her.

Diego went over to begin washing the dishes. "It's gonna be okay, Marceline. I'm sure I'll be able to talk with your dad without much trouble or hassle," he comforted her with a smile.

"I figured there would be more to it than meets the eye." Morgan said watching Finn.

"I know." Marceline said kissing Diego's cheek before heading into the living room and summoning g her father.

Finn got a long bit of strong rope and tied it to a long bar and set it on the trap door. It would allow them to climb up and down while also keep the trap door open. Finn then got out a glow stick and cracked it before dropping it. The climb was not very far down. "Okay, so the cliimb is gonna be easy-peasy," Finn told her befor ehe began climbing down the rope.

Diego saw the weird face circle along with the bug milk before he saw the portal open and revealed the dapper figure of Hunson Abadeer, lord of the Nightosphere and Marceline's dad. "Marceline! I'm surprised! I didn't think you'd want spend time, least so soon," Hunson said to her with a smile before facing Diego. Diego just smiled and waved at him. Hunson just waved back with a confused look before turning to Marceline.

"Who's the guy, Marceline?" he asked her.

Morgan watched Finn before she put her arrow away and returned the bow to her shoulder allowing her climb down the rope. She was glad she had packed extra glow sticks and even a couple flares to illuminate their way.

"Dad, I think you should down for this." Marceline said calmly figuring if he was sitting down it would make it easier to tell if he would attack Diego. Once he had sat on the couch, Marceline continued speaking. "This is Diego, he's my boyfriend."

"There's a lot of spooky stuff in these things. I'm not scared of much... used to be scared of the Ocean, but not anymore. Then again, there's the Lich, but I think everyone is totes afraid of him," Finn said as he climbed down the rope before reaching the stone floor and saw the pasage up ahaead. It was all made of stone hexagon bricks and it expanded ahead.

Hunson just raised his eyebrow before sitting down, confused by why his daughter was acting so cautious. She then told him that he was her boyfriend. Hunson Abadeer may have repaired his relationship with his daughter, but still does not see much of her and usually doesn't. "What, were you worried that I was gona disapprove or something?" he said with a still confused tone. He did take a better look at Diego though.

"You're human... but I thought all of them died out," he said, trying to make casual conversation. "I'm a cyborg. My robotic bits maintain my body in its optimal state," Diego said to him. Even with the casual atmosphere, he could feel the power the lord of the Nightosphere had. Despite this, he also seems surpirsingly affable.

Once Morgan was on the floor, she looked around. "Do you think the path is booby trapped? It seems a bit suspicious that there's a clearly marked path for us."

"Yes I was, but that's not all." Marceline said pausing to think of the best way to tell him about the baby. She sighed, "I don't know how to say this so I'm just going to say it. I'm seven weeks pregnant."

"Yeah, but most dungeons used to be old castles or prisons so they wouldn't have much reason to put alot of traps since they thought not alot of people could escape, especailly since more kinda break from being mega ancient," Finn explained to her as he used the glow stick to lead them down the path. "There will probably be some monsters or something," he mentioned.

"Wait, what?" Hunson Abadeer said very surprisngly. This was very unexpected. He looked to Diego with surprise before he took a breath. "So, I'm gonna be a grandfather then?" he said. He was in thought as he looked at them in a new light. He was well-aware of his immortal status, but he didn't think much on Marceline's mortality at first, but this addressed it.

"Does this mean they'll take up the famil business?" he asked Marceline. Diego raised his eyebrow, wodnering if he was referring to when he tried to make Marceline take his job.

Morgan looked around at her surroundings, noting the familiarity of the design and set up. She realized it was built by human and adding Finn's words of them breaking down due to age, Morgan clenched her teeth knowing that once she and Finn were dead these ruins would be the only mark left by humans until those too crumbled into nothingness. It would like they never existed.

"Hopefully yes in thirty three week." Marceline said placing a hand on her stomach before getting an annoyed look. "That's not gonna happen, Dad." She did turn to the side and lift up her sweater to show the small, barely visible change in her figure. "Changing the subject, I'm even starting to show."

Finn turned around and saw Morgan suddenly getting a rather uncomfortable expression on her face. "You okay?" Finn asked her in concern while going down the tunnel. They ended up going into a large room where there were ledges and broken staircases. There were also some small holes in the wall. Finn got his new sword out.

"I got a feeling we're not alone in here," Finn told her, tone a serious one.

Diego also placed his hand on Marceline's tummy with a fond look before looking at Hunson Abadeer. He did sigh in annoyance, but the demon did not do much else in protest. "Well, guess that means I'm still with my job," Hunson said with a smirk on his face. His face did soften a bit as he looked at them.

"Your mom would be so proud of you," he said.

Morgan quickly took her bow off of her shoulder and grabbed a normal arrow from the holder. "I'm ready." She said as she placed the arrow in place and pulled it back.

Marceline chuckled, "thanks but I think you should wait on saying for when I actually have the baby." She smiled. "But if it's a girl I want to name her after mom."

Silence sudden flooded throughout the dungeon as Finn and Morgan prepared themselves for whatever what was coming. Suddenly, they came out of the wholes. They were skeletons. Weird greenish skeletons riding on giant miles. "Woah, that's new," Finn said in regards to the moles. "Let's do this!" He shouted before leaping into the fray.

"Fair enough, " Hunson Abadeer told her with a smile before facing Diego. "Take care of both of them. I guess I can't really be saying that, but I can still look out for Marceline," he said to Diego. "Don't worry sir, I will," Diego told him with a smile. "Are you gonna name the kid after me if he's a boy?" he asked Marceline.

"Already on it!" Morgan shouted as she began shooting arrows at the skeleton riders. After a few shots she tied a rope to the end of one of her arrows and shot it at the roof. She tugged it a bit to be sure it was good and stuck in the roof before she climbed it enough to swinging on. Morgan then kicked a skeleton in the face and took his place on the rodent. It was similar to riding a horse and it wasn't hard for Morgan to get the hang of it.

"No." Marceline said bluntly. "You're not dead, mom is. Besides I think Diego would want to name the baby after his dad if it's a boy." She turned to look at Diego.

Finn meanwhile went in and began slicing the skeletons easily. They weren't all that different from the green color, but he did notice there was slime holding them together, while there was alsomslime within the bones themselves. "These guys must've been mutants and now they're undead mutant skeletons," Finn noted as he blocked an attack from a misshapen skeleton with a large sharp bone.

Meanwhile, another was launching stalactites at Morgan with a bow made out of skeleton arms and sinew. "Watch out!" Finn warned her as another mole rider was coming toward her.

Diego couldn't help but smile at Marceline's blunt answers to him before he heard Marceline's response. "Actually, I always said if my first born was a son, I'd name home Aurelio," Diego confessed to the both of them. "Nice name," Hunson told him with a smile. "I think everything's gonna turn out okay," Diego added with a smile of his own.

Morgan stood up on the mole and jumped off, landing on the back of the mole whose rider had been charging her. She quickly knocked the skeleton to the ground before directing the mole over to Finn before she grabbed his arm and pulled him onto the mole. She directed the mole toward one of the holes the skeletons came from. While passing a stone pillar, Morgan kicked a loss stone and caused a small cave in to block the way they had just came.

"Yeah." Marceline said with a smile. "Dad, when I go to the doctor do you want a copy of the sonogram?"
