It's Just Human Nature (MysteriousD/DaddysLittleSkank)

"Woah, that's awesome!" Finn told her with a smile as he saw perform an awesome action and caved in one of the openings. However, he was still deflecting and cutting away from the stalagcites that were being fired at them from the skeleton archers. "Maybe you should use one of the arrowheads I gave you," he told Morgan, remmbering one of them was an explosive one.

"What's a sonogram?" Hunson asked Marceline. Diego raised an eyebrow, but he did remember that Marceline's dad was kinda out of it when it came to the times and what not. "It's kinda a special picture of the baby while still in the womb," Diego explained before turning to Marceline. "I imagine Princess Bubblegum will be doing it," he told her.

"Okay, take the reins!" Morgan stood up on the mole as carefully as she possibly could and pulled the arrow from her bag. She carefully aimed it at a rock above where the skeletons where shooting from causing it to fall.

"It's not a very good photo but you can still see the head, body, arms, and legs. Then when I'm further along we'll be able to see the fingers and toes and tell if it's a girl or boy." Marceline said with a smile. "We have about thirteen weeks until we can find out what it is."

Finn took the reins of the giant mole while Morgan would go and shoot. The arrow struck the rock and because it was a special arrowhead, it caused a nice bit of stalagcites to fall on the skeletons. This just left some stragglers who began grouping together. No... not grouping.

Combining to become a large skeleton monster. "Oh boy," Finn pointed out to them.

"Well, yeah all right, I'd like to see," Hunson Abadeer told them with a smile. "Hey Marceline... thanks for telling me," he said after a moment of pause. "I know we don't talk often, but thanks," he said to her. "And you ain't too bad yourself, Diego," Hunson told them. "And if you ever wanna spend time, you know how to get to the Nightosphere," he added.

"That's not something you see everyday." Morgan said as she pulled out another magical arrow along with several non-magical arrows. She skillfully shot all nine arrows at the skeleton at the same time causing the arrows to spread out a bit and have a wider attack area.

"Not like I could keep it from you forever." Marceline said with a laugh. "Eventually is kinda havecto tell you."

The arrows hit the key joins of the skeleton monster and it began falling apart though it still lumbered at them, ready to strike. Finn leaped off to the mole and into the air. He striked the final blow on the head and the whole thing crumbled into broken bones and dust.

"Well, I'm not sure what else to say," Hunson Abadeer told her as he got up. "Since Infigure you won't be letting me go and eat some souls, you're probably gonna send me back to the Nightosphere," he told Marceline.

Morgan clapped, saying, "Go Finn! That was awesome." She looked around before adding, "now what?"

"Yeah I'm definitely not letting you do that." Marceline stated as she began to open the portal back to the Nightosphere. "It was nice talking to you, Dad."

Finn landed on the ground in an awesome manner before he took a moment to catch his breath. "Well, check to see if these guys have anything besides old weapons or something," Finn noted. "We should probably also look for any secret stuff in the room," he added

"Nice seeing you too, Marceline," Hunson told her with a smile before he waved at her while also looking st Diego. "Nice meeting you too, Diego," he said before he entered back into the portal. "Your dad seemed... all right," Diego said, not fully sure what he thought of him.

"Got it." Morgan said slipping the strap to her bag down so the actual bag was hanging under her arm. She placed the bow back on her back before she began searching for treasure and putting anything she found in her bag.

Marceline sighed with relief before she sat on the couch. "That actually went pretty well." She said smiling. "If I wasn't there, I would let have believed it. My dad is just so emotionally exhausting most of the time."

"Found some golden coins and a couple of jewels," Finn noted to her while he put it in his backpack. He then looked around the ledge and saw another opening, though with an uneven appearance to it. "There's probably also some old traps from a long time ago or something, be careful," he told her. He also found a rather interesting ring... it was a strange old one. He pocketed it, wanting Princess Bubblegum to look at it later.

Diego turned toward Marceline, seeing the tiredness on her face and knowing despite having grown more, being with her dad brought up alot of feelings that was stressful. "Would you like hugs and kisses to help? Or something else? Or both?" he asked her with a smile as he scooted to ehr so she could rest on him.

"I don't even know what I got, I'm just shoving it in my bag." Morgan said as she grabbed the last piece of treasure she could find and putting it in her bag.

"If you're talking about sex, no." Marceline rested the back of her head on the back of the sofa. "I'm tired and I feel fat."

Finn led Morgan down the new open path and there was an uneasy construction and he stopped at seeing a strange sight ahead of him. There were several pathways, seven to be exact heading down, each pretty lit nicely. Up ahead was a large door with seven large restraint bolts connected to machinery. "I think it was a trial. Those seven things probably had things to unlock those restraints... but most of the restraints are kinda now busted up, which means we only have to go to one," Finn noted.

"Then maybe we can just relax. What do you wanna do?" Diego asked her as he cuddled up to her. "What can I do make you feel better?" he asked her.

"Okay, I really have no idea what any of this means so lead the way." Morgan said taking a step back and motioning for Steven to take control.

"Nothing really." Marceline said as she cuddled up with him. "I'll probably just keep feeling fat until i start to look pregnant and not just like I'm gaining weight. We could talk about the theme for the nursery, I was thinking music."

"Well, there's probably some big treasure hiding behind the big door and to get it, we'll probably have to go through some test or something," Finn explained, showing his experience. "Though I wonder why the seven. The lights were clearly luminous and as they went down, there was an oddly pleasant odor in the air.

Diego relaxed when he felt Marceline cuddle against him and he happily cuddled back. "You'll always be beautiful in my eyes, inside and out," Diego told her with a smile before he leaned in to kiss her forehead and then kissing her tummy. "Music would be really nice. I imagine you'll teach them to play the axe when they can," he said with a smile.

"There's a lot it could represent; the seven deadly sins of Christianity, seven days of the week, seven colors of the rainbow, the seven continents, seven sacraments in the Roman Catholic branch of Christianity, seven signs of the apocalypse, seven ancient wonders of the world, seven chakras, I could go on." Morgan said as she followed Finn.

"That is so cheesey." Marceline said with a chuckle. "Not until they're older, I don't want them to hurt themselves since my base could be used as a weapon."

"The seven deadly what now?" Finn asked her. He knew about the days and the colors of the rainbow, but the other stuff totally caught him offguard. The deadly sins thing was the most notable, especially since the others probably would not apply to the dungeon. Apocalypse stuff would be much heavier than this so it wasn't that.

"Yeah, but you love it when I'm cheesy... and you know I mean every word of it," Diego told her as he cuddled closer and kissed her on the forehead, looking at her with adoring eyes. "Yeah, true. What would be some intrusments we could start them with?" he asked her, his hand gently holding hers.

"The seven deadly sins; greed, envy, sloth, wrath, pride, gluttony, and lust. According to the Christian religion these are things people should avoid." Morgan said as she continued to follow Finn. "My grandparents forced me to go to church every week, so I know more about it than I'd care to admit."

"Drums are pretty easy and the xylophone." Marceline said s she rubbed her belly.

"Most people go to church on Sundays, to worship Gob,,, though he's kinda not around anymore. Him or the others," Finn said. Wrote realizing Morgan might be confused and explained about Abraham Lincoln, the 4 Gobs, Magic Man and how Finn and Jake got involved in all that.

"I understand some of those sins, but I wonder why anyone would mke a dungeon with them in mind?" he wondered out loud.

Diego rubbed her tummy back. "And we already baby-proofed the house and such," Diego said before he realized something. "Hey, you still never sang to me that song you said your mom sang to you when you were little? You gonna sing it to our baby?" he asked.

"Someone made a tv show with characters named after the sins, human did some weird stuff." Morgan explained. "However if someone made a castle based on them, I'm willing to bet that what's in store for us isn't going to be pretty."

"Of course, I'm going to sing it to the baby," Marceline said with a smirk, "so you'll just have to wait thirty three more weeks to hear it."

"Well, we still don't know what it could be, if anything," Finn said as they kept going down. The stair eventually lowered to the g round and there was a wide hallway leading to the gate where the trail presumably held. "I mean, some people just like certain numbers," Finn said with a shrug, but he was also very cautious with everything that was going on.

Diego just fake-pouted at Marceline's smirk and refuses to sing before smiling and leaning over to kiss her while gently wrapping his arms around her. "I love you so much," he told her with a smile. "How have you been feeling? Anything I can help you with?" he asked her.

"But if it is the deadly sins, this ain't gonna be fun." Morgan said as she approached the door.

"We're gonna have to make a list of stuff we need; bottles, clothes, diapers, all of that stuff." Marceline said. "We could probably hold out on a lot of it until we find out the gender, and I know gender reveal parties were a thing way back when so we could do that."

"Why, what sort of challenges would they ave for us with that? Like, a bunch of treasure in resisting greed or something?" Finn asked her as they were walking down the hall. The torches revealed artwork of figures indulging in various activities and so on all with a bunch of vibrant colors, also as if to portray it was a liberating experience.

"Wonder what this is?" he asked.

"Yeah, I made us a list of things," Diego said as he pulled it from his pocket the list of things they would need for a baby. "Princess Bubblegum would also like to watch over the pregnancy given the baby would inherit not just your demon blood, but my cyborganic nature and possibly your vampiric nature as well," Diego explained to her while in thought. "Well yeah, if you're down for it, I'd like the party," he said with a smile.

"I have no idea, and that's the problem." Morgan explained walking up to the artwork. "The seven deadly sins could be applied to pretty much anything and everything." She looked at the walls. "It looks like it's been painted over but even with that I know what this was; the seven layers of hell from Dante's Inferno, it was a book that held the title of being the biggest influence of humans' interpretation of hell. Someone painted over it to make it appear as though this was something positive. While I don't agree with most of the things taught by Christianity to an extent I believe the seven deadly sins are something to be avoided. You know don't sleep around if you're married, don't murder, that kind of stuff."

"I pretty much figured she would." Marceline said. "The only other option is Doctor Princess and I'm not entirely sure she has the knowledge to handle a non-textbook pregnancy."

"Never really heard of it," Finn told Morgan before he saw they were at the door. He took a breath. "Your eady for this? The good news is we only have to deal with one of them because the others were aleady all busted up so the locks could be broken through," Finn told her before facing the door, unsure of what lay ahead for them.

"Yeah, but I'm sure our child is in good hands. We have good friends and each other," Diego told her with a smile as he squeezed her hand. He then heard his stomach grumble and he blushed. "Huh, guess I'm hungry. What are you indthe mood for?" Diego asked while he cuddled with Marceline.

"Yeah but I'm afraid of what that one is." Morgan said as she prepared her bow and arrow for whatever lie ahead of them.

"Dude we just had breakfast," Marceline said before teasing, "I know I'm eating for two but you don't need to gain weight too."

Finn opened the door and saw it was a light red room. It was still and quiet, with the stones having been painted and such. He saw there were several altars and so on. There was a bunch of artwork in vivid and powerful expressions and statues, all while some vents were there. There was also some unlit candles.

"Maybe we have to light the candles," Finn asked Morgan.

"I don't think I can get weight like that. Since I got the microbots, my system is more efficient and the more I eat, the more I can do with the backup energy," Diego noted, smiling at her teasing. "You think we should get a stuffed animal?" Diego asked her.
