Out on the beach was an archway that had a small altar with a preacher (one of Rai's uncles) standing behind it. Dennis stood on the right side of the display with all the groomsmen next to him. In order it was Andrei, Darien, Lars, a blank space for Steven, Buck, and Sour Cream. Dennis was wearing a white suit and had his curly hair slicked back while the groomsmen wore grey suits.
Once Steven had left, Rai did last minutes checks to make sure everyone was ready before the group made their way to the end of a blue sheet that was acting as the aisle. The music started and everyone turned to watch the bridal party.
Each bridesmaid had a small bouquet of roses, lilies, orchids, tulips, and daisies all of varying shades of blue. Adrien was first down the aisle followed by Eridan, then by Alice, Rai, Kiki, and Jenny. As they reached the altar they stood on the left side before a young girl maybe around seven or eight walked down the aisle holding the hands of Mason and another boy who were each holding a pillow with a single ring on it. She directed Mason to stand next to Dennis before she handed the other boy off to Adrien. Next another girl, this one about twelve, came out guiding two small girls down the aisle as they tossed flower petals. Once they made it to the front the older girl guided the younger ones to three empty seats in the front row.
Finally, Sadie appeared at the end of the aisle. She slowly made her way up the aisle smiling as the crowd turned to face the front as she passed them.
Once Sadie had made it to the altar, the preacher cleared his throat before saying, "O God most pure, Author of all creation, Who through Your man-befriending love transformed a rib of Adam the forefather into a woman, and blessed them and said, "Increase and multiply, and have dominion over the earth," and, by the conjoining, declared them both to be one member, for because of this a man shall forsake his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife, and the two shall be one flesh‑and whom God has joined together let not man put asunder. Bless this marriage and grant unto these Your servants a peaceful life, length of days, love for one another in a bond of peace, offspring long‑lived, and a crown of glory that does not fade away.
Account them worthy to see their children's children. Keep their wedlock safe against every hostile scheme. Fill their houses with bountiful food, and with every good thing, that they may need.
For a God of mercy and of compassion, and of manbefriending love are You, and to You do we send up Glory: as to Your eternal Father and Your All‑Holy, Good, and Life‑creating Spirit, both now and ever, and to the ages of ages. Amen." He paused shortly for the crowd to repeat his last word, before continuing. "Do you, Dennis Kostas, take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife in sickness and in healthy, for rich or for poor, to have and to hold until death do you part?"
Dennis took the ring from Mason, saying, "I do," as he slipped it on Sadie's finger.
"And do you, Sadie Miller, take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband in sickness and in health, for rich or for poor, to have and to hold until death do you part?"
Sadie took the ring from the other boy, saying, "I do" before slipping it onto Dennis' finger.
The preacher than pulled two wreaths connected by a ribbon from behind the altar. Walking up to Dennis he said, "The servant of God Dennis Kostas is crowned for the servant of God, Sadie Miller, in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit." He placed one of the wreaths on Dennis' head before moving over to Sadie. "The servant of God Sadie Miller is crowned for the servant of God, Dennis Kostas, in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit." With that the couple walked around the altar once before the wreaths were switched and they repeated the process two more times. Once they had finished, the preacher returned to his place behind the altar. He spoke once more, "Before I pronounce you husband and wife, I would like to give you some advice. First Corinthians, chapter 13, verses 4-7: Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love does not fail. Dennis, you may kiss your bride."
Dennis kissed Sadie while dipping her.
