“My siblings, then who ever you want.” Rai said. She shivered, and kissed Steven, “I’m gonna go inside, can’t risk getting sick. I love you and I’ll see you tomorrow.”

Pearl shrugged, “I guess so.”
 
"Good night, sweetie. Love you too," Steven told Rai with a smile on his face before he kissed her back. He was heading back, being very excited and filled with so much joy and morth.

"Thanks for walking me back, sweetie," Diego told Pearl with a smile before he leaned in to kiss her cheek. "Do you wanna stay the night?" he asked her.
 
Rai walked inside her and began getting ready for the next day

“I would love to, but I think I should head back to the beach house.” Pearl said after kissing Diego. “I imagine that the other Gems and Steven would want to start planning a home renovation in preparation of the triplets.”
 
Steven went over and met with the Gems. "Hey guys! We got so much to do for here!" Steven said with a big smile on his face.

"Good night then, Pearl. Love you!" Diego told her with a smile as he kissed her good night. "Yeah though I figure anything serious won't happen until Greg begins looking over the house," he added with a grin.
 
“We should probably wait until you tell your dad.” Garnet said on a stool at the counter. “He was the one that designed this place and he’ll probably have some idea for what to do with it.”

“Yes but we can still start planning.” Pearl said “have a good night.”
 
"Yeah, though I figure we should probably add at least three more rooms," Steven was thinking out loud while he was and taking a look around. "He still has the money from the check years ago and the money he makes from his internet channel," Steven adds before he yawns. "Well, we should probably wait for Pearl before we get ready for bed," he noted.

Diego smiled and pulled in Pearl for another quick kiss before he let her off.
 
"Yeah, though it's something we should all talk about after we tell everyone and get to talk," Steven noted with a smile before he went to hug everyone.
 
After Pearl made it back home, Steven went to bed and the Gems discussed the future plans for the house.

The Next Day...

Rai woke up and wrapped up the gifts for Greg and Chris. She tucked the ultrasounds into the t-shirts so when they were unfolded the ultrasound would fall out. Next she got the card for Andy ready and she was off. The plans for the day were that she and Steven would have breakfast with Greg, lunch with Andy, and dinner with her family that way they’d each have time to ask questions or whatever.

Pearl was making pancakes as it had been decided that instead of going out for breakfast, they would all eat at the beach house. She was making bacon, eggs, and, at Rai’s request, chocolate chip pancakes with blackberries, blueberries, and strawberries.
 
Steven had also prepared the calls and such for the day. He called Uncle Andy to let him know that there was a surprise he had for him. He was glad his uncle felt more comfortable around the Gems and as he put it, "wisened up and mellowed out."

He was also calling Rai to check up on her. "How are you doing, sweetie? Ready for today?" Steven asked ehr, making sure she was okay. He also texted Diego, since he wanted him to be there. It was gonna be all the Gems, including Peridot and Lapis.
 
Rai answered her phone, saying, “I’m doing good, on my way over. I think the triplets know today’s special because I didn’t get any morning sickness today. Are Peridot and Lapis coming over before your dad? Coz I wanted to tell them first so they won’t be upset that they were the only Gems that didn’t know.”

While Rai was talking she was packing the gifts and card into her backpack, along with the ultrasound she’d Kept so she could show Peridot and Lapis.
 
"Yeah, I'm sending over right now. I told them you needed to tell something and help in delivering something over," Steven explained to Rai with a smile while on the phone.

"Hey Peridot, Lapis," Steven yelled at them through the window, where Lapis and Peridot were cloud-gazing. "Rai needs your help with the thing now," he informed them

Diego meanwhile was on his way to the beach house. He was bringing along his own things for the breakfast, such as the smoked sausage and biscuits.
 
“I’ll be there in a few minutes, Steven, there’s no need to send them over to my house.” Rai said. Once she had packed everything up, she walked out her front door (locking it behind her) and began the short journey to the beach house.
 
"Wait, I thought you saud you needed something to be picked up," Steven asked Rai before he ntoed she was there soon. "What was that, Steven? We didn't hear you," Lapis asked Steven as she sat up from her cloud watching.
 
“Nope.” Rai answered. “I can carry two shirts and a card, Steven.” She laughed a bit. “I’ll be there in a couple of minutes.”

Peridot remained on her back watching the clouds.
 
"Nothing! Rai has a surprise for you two when she gets here," Steven informed Lapis as he saw her and Perifot enter. They really weren't aware of what was going on, though given they were busy helping to fix the barn after an accident, it made sense why.

"Hey guys, am I on time?" Diego said as he knocked on the door.
 
Rai walked up not far behind Diego. “You’re a bit early but you’ll get to see me tell Lapis and Peridot.” She said opening the door and walking in. “The life of the party has arrived!” She walked up to Steven and kissed him. “Good morning.” She said, she took Greg’s out of her bag and put it on the counter. “Lapis, Peridot, I want to show you something and then I wanna know what you think it is.” She pulled out her ultrasound and held it up for the two to see.

Peridot looked at it and said, “Is it art?”

“Kinda.” Rai answered. “This is a picture of what’s going on inside me.”
 
Steven helped Diego carry what he brought over: some smoked sausages, some biscuits and a surprise for later. While putting them on the table, Steven saw Rai show Peridot and Lapis the pictures.

"Wait a minute..." Lapis said as she looked at the pictures. "T-this is like that episode... t-this is a... these are babies, right?" Lapis said as she began forming it in her head.
 
Peridot was still confused until Lapis spoke up.

“Exactly.” Rai said beaming from ear to ear. “Steven and I are going to be parents of triplets!”

“Is it normal for their to be so many in you?” Peridot asked.

“No most of the time a woman one has one baby inside her, but on rare cases there ends up being more.” Rai answered.
 
Steven chuckled at Peridot's rather confused and almost lackluster response though he wodnered how they'd react to actually holding the babies.

"What time did you say for Greg to arrive?" Diego asked Rai while he helped Pearl finish with the table.
 
“Soon.” Rai answered putting the ultrasound away. “And Lapis, Peridot, don’t mention anything about me and Steven being parents to Greg. We kinda planned a surprise for him.”

“Okay.” Peridot responded with a nod.
 
"All right," Lapis said as she was thinking about all this. "Does this mean we have to help with the babies?" she asked, with a tone of curiosity. She and Peridot never dealt with babies before and had no idea what to do.

There was a knock on the door, indicating Greg was now here.
 
“Only if you want to, but I guarantee you’ll want to at least hold them because they’ll be so cute!” Rai answered before answering the door. She made sure said she said what she had to say before she was within earshot of Greg. She opened the door and smiled, “Morning.”
 
Peridot and Lapis both looked at one another and shrugged their shoulders, still not really getting the whole thing.

"Hey everyone!" Greg said as he went over to hug everyone, starting with Steven. It was a while since he got to see everyone together like this and he figured it was nice time for catching up. "How have you been doing, Rai?" he asked her.
 
“Pretty good.” Rai said hugging Greg. “I got you something.” She grabbed the box with the t-shirt and gave it him. “Just a little something Steven and I thought you’d like.” She was super nervous but an excited nervous to see what Greg’s reaction would be, especially to the ultrasound since it would show there were three of them.
