“Oh cool, what is it?” Greg asked as he got the box. He noted it looked the size of a piece of cloth and opening the box. As he removed it from the box, he saw something come out of it.

His eyes noticeably widened when he picked the price of paper and then looked st the gift.

“I-I’m gonna be a grandpa?” Greg said with a tearful smile, very surprised at it. Steven only nodded before he embraced his dad tightly.
 
“To triplets.” Rai added also smiling. “And check this out.” She turned so everyone could see the outline of her stomach before she lifted up her shirt. “I noticed it this morning.” She rubbed her belly which had a barely noticeable bump. It was so small that unless you knew Rai was pregnant, you’d probably just think she was getting fat. “I have a baby bump!”

“Oh my gosh.” Pearl said, eyes tearing similar to when Connie asked to learn how to fight with swords.
 
Greg was giving a massive hug to Steven before the two turned to see what Rai had. Diego turned to see a minor bump. When he squinted it, he realized what it was. A baby bump.

"Oh WOW!" Steven said with a smile as he to see the bump and he gently kissed it.

"So those are where the babies are growing?" Amethyst asked.
 
“Yup that’s where they are.” Rai said with a smile. “I can already tell I’m going to be huge since I’m already showing at eight weeks given that I’m not a thin person.” She turned head towards Greg and asked, “You wanna hear your grandchildren’s heartbeats?”
 
"Yeah, of course! I mean like... wow. Have you told your parents yet? Who else are you gonna tell?" Greg said as he was getting excited over this wonderful revelation and Steven already had a big smile on his face like he did.

"Oh wow," Peridot said before she gave a gentle poke.
 
“Not yet.” Rai said as she took out her phone. “There’s three people outside of this room that know and they only know I’m pregnant. They don’t know it’s triplets yet and it’s Dennis, Sadie, and Mason.” She turned the volume up on her phone and play a sound clip of the ultrasound they’d had the night before. “This is baby a.”
 
"Oh wow," Greg said in awe as he was looking at the pictures he was given along with listening to the ultrasound. "I'm surprised none of them have accidentally told anyone yet," he said jokingly as he was listening alongside Peridot and Lapis.

"What is that?" Lapis asked.
 
“The swushing noise is the machine and the thumping noise is the baby’s heart beat.” Rai explained before switching to the next one. “This is baby b, who is the first of the identical twins.” She see how excited Greg was and only hoped her father would be half that excited.
 
"Oh wow... Triplets. Oh man, Andy is gonna flip when he hears this," Greg notes while he was listening to the heartbeat of the baby. "How do three of them fit in there?" Peridot asked as she kept poking.

"Any ideas for names yet?" Diego asked Steven and Rai.
 
“And baby c.” Rai said switching to the last one audio clip. “And Peridot please stop poking me. They can all fit in there because right now they’re only about half an inch big. As they grow so will my stomach until it looks like I have a beach ball under my shirt. As for names Steven and I have agreed on two of them: Rose for a girl and Grigórios for a boy. Then I guess the last one will be named after my mom or dad.”
 
Peridot stopped poking while everyone was listening to the last baby. "I get why Rose, but why uh.. Grigórios?" Greg couldn't help but ask them. "Yeah, but it sounds kinsa like Greg," Amethyst commented on it.

"What are your parents' names?" Diego asked Rai.
 
“Grigórios is the Greek version of Gregory.” Rai explained turning her phone off and putting in her pocket. “I like the idea of naming them after our parents and I wanted some of their Greek culture in their names. Also Grigórios Universe sounds badass. My dad’s name is Chris and my mom’s name was Molly.”
 
Greg blushed a bit at the consideration before he was chuckling. "Oh wow... that's... that's really nice," Greg confessed, feeling very flattered on having one of his grandsons named after him.
 
“Let’s just hope it’s not three girls,” She said jokingly, “coz we don’t have three girl names picked out. I got three boy names picked out though. I got two girl names max right now.”

“Besides Grigórios and Chris, what’s the third?” Pearl asked.

“Ross.” Rai answered. “I figure it’s close enough to Rose.”
 
"Yeah, we've been talking about it," Steven added with a smile on them.

"Not to interrupt, but the food stuff you made is goign to get cold soon," Peridot noted as she was looking over the stuff. Thanks to Amethyst's influence, she was getting into eating like a human.
 
Rai patted her belly and said, “Gotta feed these little guys.”

Pearl passed out plates with some food on it that she’d been preparing while everyone else was talking. She handed Rai a plate stacked with pancakes that were topped with berries, syrup, and whipped cream.
 
Steven pulled the seat over for Rai to sit down while everyone was going to take their seats and rpeparing to eat or have conversation.

"This was all their idea. Rai and Steven is going to do this surprise for her folks too and Andy," Diego explained to Greg.

"Wow... that's amazing," Greg told Rai.
 
“Yeah I got my dad a shirt that says ‘World’s Greatest Popou’ and Andy a card.” Rai explained between mouthfulls of pancakes. “We’re having lunch with Andy and dinner with my family.”

“I would be careful what you say to Andy, he was rather upset when he found out that Greg and Rose weren’t married.” Pearl commented.

“I figured he’d suggest a shotgun wedding, but I already know what I’m gonna say. I honestly don’t want to get married until after they’re born because I don’t want people assuming that Steven and I only got married because I’m pregnant, I want everyone to know that we got married because we’re in love.” Rai said. “And that’s the truth.”
 
Diego was enjoying alot of the food. He was always eater with eating ever since he was with Pearl.

"Yeah, but Uncle Andy has relaxed at that," Steven added to that with what Pearl said. However, he blushed and smiled at what Rai said. His hand went over to hers to squeeze it before he leaned in to kiss her cheek lovingly.

"Well, regardless, you have all of our support. Also, where are you going to take Andy? You gonna make him lunch or take him out for it," Diego asked Rai.
 
“I figured we’d go to a restaurant but I haven’t decided where.” Rai said.

“I would suggest the diner but I doubt you want to risk your family hearing you guys.” Pearl said.

“You guys could go to Fish Stew Pizza.” Amethyst suggested.
 
"There's always Fryman's! Peedee said that he even has some good news for us, but he wasn't able to tell us until now," Steven noted. Diego thought about the young fry lad. He was the one handling the store with his older brother being a bit of a nut.

Granted, Peedee was a close friend to Steven and was the one who comforted and cheered up Steven when Connie left, which would let the two to fuse into Stevdee. "Well, whatever you all pick, just have fun and tell Andy gently," Diego told the two.
 
“Yes but they don’t have seating.” Rai commented. “I may only be eight weeks in but I’m trying to stay off my feet as much as possible. You know so my feet don’t hurt.”

“That was one thing Rose complained about.” Pearl said.

“And That was with her just carrying Steven, I’m carrying three babies.” Rai chuckled.
 
"They actually added some a few weeks ago. That was one of the reasons we helped out with the renovations a while back, remmeber?" Steven reminded Rai. "They were also adding different types of fries and other stuff like that," he added, recalling some of the ideas they had.

"Though Rose insisted on being able to feel everything a normal woman felt during pregnancy because she said it was important to better udnerstand humans," Greg noted with a fond smile.
 
“Oh yeah,” Rai said, “I’ve been pretty preoccupied with other stuff lately.” She finished eating and put arm around Steven, kissing his cheek. “I’m glad she did, otherwise I wouldn’t have this guy,” She said and placed a hand on her stomach, “or these guys!”
 
"So we can take Uncle Andy there and also hear the news from Peedee," Steven told her with a smile as he kissed her back.

"It's just amazing on how much Rose was humans. She was truly someone special," Diego couldn't help but comment. "I wonder what Peedee's announcement would be," he added with some thought.
