"Perhaps... she was the one that spoke most to the humans, but if she knew anything, she kept it a larger secret than anything she would've left for Steven to see," Garnet said as she was thinking while they kept looking.

Steven put his hands over his mouth when she mentioned that she hasn't told her folks yet. He then looked even more excited when she mentioned twins. He hugged her and spun around before he kissed her. "This is amazing!" he whispered to her excitedly.
 
“If she left anything for anyone, it’s be Steven.” Amethyst said before picking up a gold coin.

Rai smiled, kissing Steven. “How does it feel knowing you’re gonna be a dad?” She asked.
 
Garnet looked over the gold coin with the sun icon on it. It was old and weary and chipped, but it survived. "Yes, but where would she have put it?" Garnet wondered.

"It's gonna be amazing, and how about you being a mom?" Steven asked her with a smile before he kissed her back.
 
“I don’t know. I’m just saying if she left anyone information about it, she’d leave it for Steven.” Amethyst clarifiedz

“A bit nauseating, but I think that’s more the morning sickness which is good because statistically speaking the more morning sickness a woman experiences the less chance of her miscarrying.” Rai explained.
 
"We've almost finished looking," Garnet told Amethyst as they finished searching another site for potential clues. "The ramifications could be enormous," she added.

Steven held Rai gently as he gave her another kiss. "Well, I mean, are you happy on becoming a mom?" Steven asked her.
 
Amethyst nodded.

“Nervous but excited.” Rai said. “It was so cute when I found out because Dennis told Mason that ‘Thea Rai is having a baby’ and Mason put his hands on my belly and said ‘babies’ but then he put his hands on Sadie’s belly and asked ‘baby?’ I made a joke about Mason knowing something we don’t know and Sadie went pale.”
 
"I think that is everything we could find. Not much to be found," Garnet noted as she and Amethyst concluded their final search.

"Wait, so Sadie is having more kids?" Steven noted with a smile on his face as he was chuckling a bit. "So who should we tell, then?" Steven asked Rai.
 
“Okay.” Amethyst said as she followed Garnet.

“Not that we know of.” Rai answered. “I have a plan on telling our dads and your uncle. I ordered shirts for our dads that say “World’s Best Grandpa” for your dad and “World’s Best Papou” for my dad. I wanna go to planned parenthood to get an ultrasound to put at the bottom of the box. For your uncle, I found a card that says ‘You’re such a great uncle, we’re promoting you to a great-uncle.’ We can go tell the Gems and Diego now though, although I’m sure Garnet already knows.”
 
After the last spot, they found relatively little, though it was enough o definitely have the two realize there was indeed something the Gems missed. "We should check on Pearl and the others near the ship," Garnet told Amethyst as they walked to the portal.

Steven smiled as what was the plan for them all. "They'll all love that," Steven said before he hear Rai mention telling them. "Actually, they're busy. That's why I'm here. It turns out that journal thing was describing Atlantis, which were around way before the Homeworld Gems got here," Steven told her with an excited whisper.
 
“Okay, cool.” Amethyst said.

“Well I can help now, the morning sickness is gone.” Rai stated. “Besides I already have a name picked out if one of them is a girl and I won’t tell you what that is until I tell the Gems too.” She teased him a bit at the end. “And it’ll tell the Gems they need to make sure you don’t get hurt coz you’re gonna be a dad.”
 
Garnet and Amethyst began walking and before long, they arrived over to the barn where Pearl was with the ship and Peridot.

Steven smiled before he kissed Rai once more on the cheek. "All right then," he said with a smile. "Right. You wanna see them now or later?" Steven asked her, making sure she was all right.
 
Pearl was pulling a bunch of vines and other debris off of the ship and doing some light maintence on the outer hull in the process. Meanwhile Peridot was nowhere to be seen but was most likely inside the ship based on the sounds coming from inside.

“We can go right after I get dressed.” Rai said. “Then after the whole Atlantis thing, we can go to Planned Parenthood to see our babies!”
 
"How is the ship coming along?" Garnet asked them as she and Amethyst arrived to check up on them. She began checking on everything. "We will need to reinforce the ship. Most of these crafts can only basic atmospheric pressure and the surrounding pressure increases as you go down," Garnet noted.

"What do you think of the Atlantis thing?" Steven told her as he held her hand and began leading her to her room so she could get dressed.
 
Peridot stuck her head out of an open hatch. “Good, but we definitely won’t be going anywhere anytime soon. We need to replace parts and reenforce the exterior. I’d like to add cupholders.”

“It’s definitely an experience.” Rai stated before she started changing. She stood in front of the mirror looking at her stomach, “is it me or am I already getting a baby bump?” She put a hand on her no longer flat stomach.
 
"Well, we still have plenty of time and we can try and go around other Gem bases to salvage any parts you may need," Garnet explained to Peridot . "You think you will be able to create any parts, Pearl?" she asked Pearl.

"Well I suppose so, but you're always beautiful to me," Steven responded to her with a smile before giving her a soft hug.
 
“Most likely.” Pearl replied. “I’ll need help for the more complicated part, simply because I won’t have the ideal parts, but I’m sure I can get it done eventually.”

“I better be beautiful,” Rai chuckled, “I’m carrying your children.” She hugged him back before she went to one of two closets in the room. Along with the two closets there were also two bunkbeds; one having pink and orange bedding and the other having purple and black bedding.
 
"Very well. Amethyst and I will be able to help you gather whatever you need to try and make the parts needed," Garnet explained to her. "Maybe Diego can also help," Amethyst noted.

Steven chuckled back before he helped her moved to where she was going. "Need any help?" he asked her.
 
“I would prefer Diego stay out of this when it comes to the more dangerous things. I don’t want him to get hurt.” Pearl stated.

Rai pulled some clothes out of them closet and quickly got dressed. “Nope, I’m good for now, but I’ll take a rain check on that since I’m gonna need towards the end of this.” She said referring to the pregnancy.
 
"i understand, but helping us find parts and equipment should not put him in danger," Garnet noted to Pearl to reassure her with a smile.

"All right then," Steven told her with a smile as he waited for her to get dressed. Once she finished, he offered his arm for her to take so he could walk them back to the beach-house.
 
“I know by I worry about him.” Pearl stated.

“You care about him!” Amethyst teased.

Rai took his arm while smiling, resting her head on his shoulder. “I hope one of them iis a boy and that he looks like you.”
 
"Well, she has made that very obvious," Garnet said with a smile of her own, happy on how much Pearl has grown and how they all came to better understand and appreciate humanity.

"Then the other one could be a girl and she could look like you," Steven responded to Rai with a smile as he was walking her to the beach house. "I guess this means we have to prepare for you moving in," he wondered out loud.
 
Pearl smirked and jokingly said, “I’ve cared about him several times in fact.”

“Yeah, although I’m not entirely sure how easy the transition is going to be for me. The only time I’ve been apart from the other quints for more than a couple nights was when I was in the NICU and they had already gone home.”
 
"Well, we all know that," Amethyst said with her own smirk before she got a more serious look on her face. "But what makes you happy to be around him? Like... I guess what is it about him that makes you wanna be with him?" she asked her longtime friend.

Steven embraced Rai. "We don't have to rush it, but Dad always told me about how there comes a time for the kids to leave the nest," he said to her as he saw they were almost there.
 
“It’s really hard to explain. It’s like the more time I spend with him, the more I want to be with him.” Pearl said with a small smile.

“But I want my own life and everything.” Rai sighed. “It doesn’t help that I’m the baby of the family.”
 
"You feel happy when you are with him, correct? Just his presence is reassuring. That your relationship is one of equals, where neither of you put the other on a pedestal, right?" Garnet spoke to Pearl with a smile of her own.

"Well, we gotta do what we gotta do. It's why my Dad did when he realized it was his time," Steven told Rai in a comforting manner before he pecked her cheek.
