"I stubbed my toe. I didn't say it was a boy." Amy tried to cover it up but it was too late. "Sorry Adri. And for the record, Luke wanted a girl too." She shrugged her shoulder and rubbed her belly.

Adri rolled her eyes at Jake's reasoning. "I still wanted a girl!" She smiled at the camera, "Whatever, as long as he is healthy, I guess." She joked. She didn't care the gender, she would have preferred a girl but she was happy with a baby to hold and love and smell.

"I didn't mean too. Owen come here. That's not a nice word. You shouldn't say that. Say fun! Fuuuunnnn." She tried to teach him but he was happy saying fub and playing with his cards.

"It will pass Amy. Don't worry." Adri said softly. "Just don't call my mom with him and that potty mouth of his."
 
"We can start training at like 3 months. As soon as he lifts the head, it's on." Jake told them. He was already a proud uncle.

Jake smiled. "We will both have girls and then they will become teenagers and you'll ask me why you wanted two girls in the family." He smiled at Adri. "But yes a healthy baby is good regardless."

He kept chuckling that Owen said a bad word. "I'm just glad it wasn't me that taught him the word. O...that's bad buddy. Don't say that..." It was a lost cause.

"Yeah maw maw will not like that. Dad would find it hilarious. Especially that you did it." Jake just grinned like a kid being happy his sister was gonna get busted. "We can let you go. We just wanted to check in and say hi. We won't be around during bedtime."
 
Adri shook her head, "Shouldn't you be training him?" She asked talking about Owen. She shook her head, "Don't answer that. Don't train either of them. Are you still having a reveal party?" Adri asked.

Amy shrugged her shoulder, "Probably not. Dad already knows. I guess I can tell mom now." She sighed. "Next time my lips are sealed." She told them both. "You suck Jake."

After saying their goodbyes Adri set his laptop on the table. "That's great. At least this will be practice for Owen being around a baby. You think he'll be a jealous baby?" She asked and played with his hair. "He gets a lot of attention and love. I think if he saw one of us giving out attention to a baby he'd flip."
 
"Training him to be a fighter? Absolutely will." Jake smiled proudly. "I don't need to train him on cursing his aunt has that covered." He teases.

Jake looked at her shocked and confused. "I didn't do anything. It was you that did it." He chuckled a bit.

He looked at Adri and gave her a nod. "He will be a big jealous brat with you for sure. Maybe me too. And probably grandpa and Amy. I can see it. We will need to nip it quick. He didn't get real jealous of the girls though." He shrugged. "We will see though."

Jake rested his head on her shoulder. "When do we need to get ready?"
 
"You for sure. You're his favorite person. I think he'll be better with us but if Max pays more attention to the baby then prepare for a meltdown." She laughed. "He will throw a fit."

She twirled a piece of his hair around her finger, "We have to go to the the store first. It's a club too so we won't be leaving for a few hours. I just need to put on make up, do my hair and all the other fun things females get to do." She said softly.

"Come on. It will be a really quick trip. Will you get Liam?" She asked and went to get her purse.
 
Jake smiled when she told him that he was Owen's favorite. "Really? You think so? I would have said you were." He smiled and chuckled at the sight of Max paying more attention to the baby. "Oh man. That would be awful. It would break that boys heart."

"I forgot for a few minutes due to the excitement of my nephew and our son cursing. I'm so glad it wasn't me. You would have hit me and been so angry. Why is it with her you kinda brush it off?" He smiled and looked at her.

He got up and grabbed a shirt. "Babe, I can just call his room..." He grabbed the room phone and called Liam's room. "Hey man, we gotta head to the store. You free to go along?"

Liam told him he'd be ready in two minutes before they hung up. "He will be ready in two minutes he said." Jake pulled his shirt on and then grabbed his shoes, putting them on too. "Is Liam going out tonight too?"
 
"She's pregnant and you forced the gender of the baby out of her. I'm upset but it will pass. It sounds like he's saying fun. It could be worst, I guess." She said and tugged on his ear. "But that is not a free pass to teach him a new words. You got that." She warned.

She nodded her head, "I'm not going to a club in LA without him. We are paying him to be here. So let's use him." She told Jake and slipped her shoes on.

When everyone was ready, they went downstairs and got in the car. She plugged in the gps to the closest target and they were off. Adri got what she needed for the night and then did a little shopping around to see what else target had to offer. She did need to get ready though so once she was done looking around, she was ready.
 
"I didn't force anything out of her. It's not like I was begging her to tell me you've called him your niece this whole time and I've called him my nephew. She should have expected it." He told her and pretend to bite at her hand.

He looked at her. "I was just asking. I didn't know if he knew the plans yet is all...I'm still figuring this thing out with having him here." He let out a sigh.

Jake walked around with Adri and didn't really need anything so he really was only there for protecting too he thought. He knew that probably wasn't the case. Jake grabbed some bottled water. "I've drank and ate like shit today. Water the rest of trip except for tonight." He told her.

"Babe we have a dog free baby free night...I'm glad we get to do something fun besides catch up on sleep."
 
"As least you kept yours down." She said under her breath and rubbed his back. "You've been working out like crazy. Get used to eating poorly for the next few week on our trip." She told him. "And don't beat yourself up over it either. Do you want to get some snacks?" She asked and if she did they went to get him something healthy to snack on. If he didn't they checked out and went back to the hotel.

When they went to their room, she took off her clothes and put on a robe so she could put on her make up. "Maybe that was Nick's goal. We rarely go out anymore and most of that is my fault." She said softly. "Maybe he wants us to have some fun." She told him.

When her make up was finished, she started on her hair. "You know I can't wear underwear right? So I need you to be my cover if the wind starts picking up."
 
He looked at her. "You didn't keep yours down? Adge...that's not good. You can't gain doing that. Don't force stuff down. You gotta work back up babe." He gave her shoulder a kiss. "Why are we buying out snacks? Aren't we celebrities? Shouldn't we have a clause in our hotel arrangement to have water and snacks in our room. Our room a specific temperature?" He asked joking but s bit serious. They never took advantage of the perks.

He went and found some healthy snacks. Crackers and fruit before telling her he was ready.

Back at the hotel Jake let Adri get ready and he relaxed. Since he showered he only had to change and do his own hair. "I'm supposed to stop the wind? Or catch the sexy view?" He teased. "I got your back baby."

Closer to time, Jake got up and got dressed. He put on a pair of black pants and grey button up. He nudged Adri's butt for the mirror to do his hair just being playful bit was careful not to hurt her. "I'm excited for tonight. Nick is cool to set this up. I'm curious when shooting for the show starts. Maybe we can get you a cameo as my wife." Jake smiled in the mirror at her.
 
She shrugged her shoulder, "It's not like I was trying to do it." She said softly. "We could be picky and demanding if you want. I don't mind going out to get what I want because I know it will be what I want." She told him. "Next time you travel you can ask for your Powerade to be in the mini fridge in your room."

She smiled at him, "Very funny, if the wind picks up and I flash everybody my stuff you'll feel bad."

She nodded her head, "That would be cool." She finished up in the mirror as he did his hair. She put on lotion that made her legs good even better. She put on silicone pads that were acting as her bra for the night. She put on her Swarovski crystal thigh jewelry and then put on the black dress. She looked at herself in the mirror and smiled at Jake as she slipped on her black stilettos.

"She did a damn good job, right?" She asked and taped the high slit of the dress to her leg so if the wind did pick up, it wouldn't show everything.
 
"I'm only kidding. We don't have to be a pain in the ass for people. But some things may be nice. Like water. We may get more demanding if we travel with Owen and a new born...down the road." He told her.

Jake looked her over. "I feel like you look awfully sexy for the club. But proud it's me you're showing up with." He walked over and kissed her softly. "You look beautiful like always." He put on his watch he got for becoming champion.

"Ready babe?" He checked his phone, Liam let him know he was ready. "Liam is waiting for us."
 
"We won't be traveling with a new born. Not for a few months at least." She told him. "But I'm sure mom will watch them both if we need to take a break." She shrugged her shoulder. "One day. And our first better be a girl."

She frowned, "Like that's q bad thing. It's not just a club. It's the hottest club in LA and we will be photographed outside of it. We need to look good."

She nodded her head to being ready and grabbed her clutch. She walked out with Jake and Liam and they went downstairs to the car. She sent Nick a text. "He's already there."

When they got to the club, Liam was the first one out. He opened the door and waited for Adri to exit. There was a red carpet for them to walk and then they were clear to enter the club. She wasn't thrilled to walk the carpet but she put on her fake smile and took pictures. She did her classic no smiling face and took pictures and walked into the club.

She got tingles while taking pictures. She realized how much she missed it. She smiled at Jake and put her arm around his waist. "That was kind of fun. Right?"
 
"I know that we won't travel with a new born right away. We didn't do that with Owen. I'm just saying with two kids we may take advantage." He shrugged. "No promises babe."

Jake shrugged. "Sorry. I don't go clubbing anymore. I'm a family man now." He winked at her and kissed her cheek. Jake didn't really miss his bachelor days. He was drinking too much and it affected his health. Plus he loved his little family.

He either held Adri's hand or had his arm around her for a few photos. He even kissed her cheek for one. He could tell despite her straight face, she enjoyed the red carpet. He smiled when she said it was fun and gave her a nod. "Yeah."

Nick made his way over to them and gave Adri a hug and Jake a hand shake. He lead the way to their table, "How is it being back in LA?"
 
"It has it's ups and downs." Adri told Nick and followed him to the booth. He ordered a bottle of champagne to be brought out to them and handed them menus. Their selection was a limited mix of bar food that was meant to keep people from being sick if they drank too much but it wouldn't be a full meal for them to enjoy.

A few other celebrities came over to mingle and chat. Adri was happy no one brought up the trail too much. It was all light hearted congratulations to Jake for being champion and hello to Adri and asking her what her next big job was.

A huge bottle of champagne came out with a pretty half dressed girl holding it up and it was surrounded by sparklers and a few of the clubs dancers to escort it to them. When the sparklers went out, the drink was poured into their glasses and then left on the table.
 
It was nice to be out and just forget about the trial and have fun. It was nice of Nick to set it all up for them. Jake looked over the menu, knowing he'd have to get a good work out in for sure. If he was thinking that, he was curious what Adri could find to eat.

"What looks good?" He asked, leaning close to her, kissing her shoulder. "I can't make up my mind. So many things sound so good."

He thanked the other celebrities for congratulating him. A few people asked who he thought he'd fight next and honestly it was too soon to tell. Nick was telling everyone that he had a project for me and everyone had to wait for it. His hand rested on Adri's leg. A few girls complimented her on her dress and jewelry. One of the guys turned to Jake, "How's it feel being engaged to someone that hot?"

Jake laughed. "I'm still trying to figure out why she picked me. I think it helps my son is so cute." He joked. "I feel like the luckiest guy in the world for sure." He smiled at Adri and took a drink.
 
"I don't know. I think I'll just have the chicken dunker things." She said pointing out the overly fancy name for the chicken strips. "Might as well try." She said softly. This time she wouldn't force herself to finish the plate.

She smiled back at him, "Definitely because of his son." She teased and gave Jake a kiss. "Love you." She rubbed his cheek and sipped on her drink. When their server came over, she took their order.

Adri ordered a strawberry margarita along with her food.

"Are we going to dance or just sit and drink?" Nick asked. "I'm fine with sitting and drinking, ny the way. But one dance with the lovely lady wouldn't hurt either. As long as it's okay with you Jake. I don't want to get beat to a pulp." He laughed.
 
Jake gave Adri a nod to what she was gonna try to eat. He looked over the menu. "It's a tough decision." Jake told her.

He kissed her back and rolled his eyes playfully. "I know it's the truth." He teased and kissed her again with a small kiss.

When the waitress walked over, he ordered spicy wings and a blooming onion. He'd share with Adri if she wanted any. He also ordered a glass of scotch.

He chuckled at Nick's question. "Yeah you can dance with her. As long as she saves a dance for her man." He smiled at Adri. "Have fun."

His scotch arrived while they were dancing and he stole a few sips as he talked to a few guys about fighting. Then some woman walks over and starts to talk to Jake. Soon he put it together it was Kendall Jenner and she was trying to flirt with him. She had no idea Adri was there as she was a huge fan.
 
Adri got up with Nick and they danced for a few songs. Adri had a few drinks in her system so she was feeling good. Her ribs weren't bothering her because she took the perscription strength pain meds.

She wasn't paying attention to Jake because when she left he was pretty content talking to the guys beside him. When they were finhave she'd dancing they took a quick trip to the bar before going back to the booth.

She sat a new scotch down for Jake and sat next to him. She smiled at Kendall before recognizing who she was. She wasn't a fan or the kardashian clan but she could respect a fellow model, especially knowing they would be working together at the Victoria's Secret show. With Jake between them they got to know each other. They exchanged phone numbers and then Adri moved sides so Jake could talk to someone else.
 
Kendall was a bit bummed and happy Adri was there. She hoped she could flirt with Jake a bit more but was also fine talking to Adri about work. Jake thanked Adri for his drink. There food arrived and he ate and talked to the guys about sports and the fighting business. He let Adri have some of his blooming onion.

Kendall looked down at Jake, "How much do you work out Jake?" She smiled at him and looked his arms over.

"Every day. It just depends on the day for how long and how hard. I focus on different things like lifting or cardio or specific technique training. I do run everyday." He told her with a small smile.

"Well you look good." Jake looked at Adri a second then back at Kendall.

"Thank you." He took a drink and kept eating. Nick looked at Kendall a bit annoyed because the two used to date briefly and shook his head, rolling his eyes.
 
Adri smiled at Jake, she would definitely be keeping this relationship professional.

Adri lt Kendall keep trying with Jake and bumped into Nick to get him to smile. Alright, alright." She turned to Jake and grabbed his hand, "I'd like to dance with my husband thank you." She held her hand out to Nick too and got the both out of the booth and onto the floor.

hat saved Nick from being alone with Kendall and it got her fiance away from that dreadful Kardashian. She dance facing Jake and Nick was behind her for a little bit creating an Adri sandwich.

"You're mine." She gave him a kiss and rubbed his back.
 
Jake was glad Adri got the hint and got up with her. It was kinda sexy she called him her husband as she pulled him to the dance floor. He smiled at her and gave her shoulder a kiss as they found the middle of the dance floor.

He started dancing with her and smiled when she claimed her territory. "Yes I am." He kissed her back. "I'm proud of you for not getting in a fight. You're improving." He teased and kissed her again softly as he kept dancing with her. It had been a long time since they were at a club and dancing. It was probably after one of his first wins after hiring her.

"You feeling okay?" He asked as he moved closer to her, grinding up against her a bit.
 
"I'm pretty sure we are one for one with club fights. So don't even try to act high and mighty." She teased.

"I feel fantastic. But you feel even better." She laughed and smiled. She turned around to face Nick.

"Thank you. I don't know if she was doing to make me feel jealous or what. My PR told me to stay away from her. The family brings on a bad reputation." Nick yelled over the music.

Adri nodded understanding what he was saying. "Don't worry about it. I won't let the boogie man get you." She winked at him.
 
He rolled his eyes and shrugged his shoulder. "Eh...Yours was still worse than mine." He teased.

"I'm glad you're feeling good." Jake stole a quick kiss before she turned to face Nick.

Jake kept dancing with Adri as some other chick came up to dance with him. Why was it that he was out with his fiance and all these women wanted to flirt with him or dance with him. After looking back at the woman though she was just dancing with everyone so it wasn't too awkward.

Jake looked at Nick, "You're lucky I like you man, no other guy is allowed this close to my girl." He teased over the loud music. It was something he hoped would help him get a bit lucky that night with Adri.
 
She shook her head, "All I did was slap. You beat the guy up for pushing me. Remember? You probably would have beat Bisping up too...I guess you did. But you know what I mean."

When she was tired of dancing she let Jake know so they could go sit down and eat their food. She enjoyed her chicken fingers and honey mustard. She smiled at Jake and ordered another margarita.

"I love you." She told him and gave him a kiss on the cheek. She was feeling the drinks now and with the combination of not eating she was getting drunk a lot faster than usual.

"We have to do this more often. It won't be as easy when we are married and working on number two." She smiled.
