League of Heroes........Guardians of Earth (Darkkitten9389 & CrimsonMaster)

Image returned to the living room. Phasing back through the floor. He said the cave was fine. There was no damage. This was do to the work of Alexandria & Tristan. Using their powers, they would able to ease the vibrations around the manor. Tristan then switched on the nearby television. He found a news channel which was already talking about the quake. The reporter said it was a 5.5 magnitude which struck New York City. Image said the magnitude was correct, but he added the quake wasn't real. Image said it was created by an outside source. Something other then the Earth made the ground shake. While the family watched the story unfold. It was reported that some people spoke of a column of white light. This beam of light came from the sky moments before the quake hit. All the witnesses said the column of light struck a building in Harlem. The building was shown on television. It was the same building that Alexandria had wanted to keep out of Madame Wu's hands. Alexandria spoke of how she'd planned on fighting for that building. She even told Rena Tate about this. Clearly, Rena had passed this onto Madame Wu.

" I think it's time I had a face to face meeting with Madame Wu. " Eric spoke in a clear voice. His tone did point towards being very upset. The rest of the family became worried. Alexandria spoke of how dangerous this woman was. She already knew what it was like to be hunted by her. Adam said his father didn't even know where Madame Wu was. Eric nodded his head. Saying he believe she was in the city. In fact, Eric said he was sure where she could be found on this evening. Eric assured Alexandria and the others, he had a plan. He would go, but not alone. Eric would take Alexandria, Tristan & Adam. He wanted Tina to stay behind at the manor. Along with Image, Dak, Tabitha & Angel. Eric then laid out his plan. He figured Madame Wu would be at her restaurant. The Golden Dragon. Eric asked Alexandria to contact Lincoln Rhodes, Iron Dragon & Street Devil. He thought they might be needed. Alexandria would set everyone up outside the restaurant and wait for Eric to give a signal. If he needed any help. Eric gave Richard a kiss, then handed the his son over to Angel. She would keep him safe and calm. Alexandria would take Tristan & Adam into the city using one of the Raven Jets. Though, they all could fly in one manner of another. It was best if they all traveled together. Eric went upstairs to his room, and put on a suit. Alexandria would bring an extra change of clothing for him from the cave. This extra clothing was his costume. Once Eric looked like the businessman he was. He left the manor, taking one of the cars from the garage. Eric headed straight for the city. He knew Alexandria and the others would be nearby.
 
After a little while, Image finally rejoined them and he gave a report of what he had found. The cave was fine and had suffered no damage. Things could of been worse if it hadn't of been for Alexandria and Tristan using their powers to calm the seismic activity around the house. While Image spoke of this, he moved over to the television in the living room and switched it on, quickly finding a news channel which was already doing a report on the quake. It was reported that the earthquake had been a 5.5 magnitude which had struck New York City. This was confirmed by Image, but he told them that the quake hadn't been real and Alexandria nodded slightly. As a being connected deeply to the earth, much like Tristan, they could tell that there was something not quite right about the quake. Together, the group watched the story and when Alexandria heard about the building being struck and she saw the picture of the very building that she had spoken with Rena about earlier, she frowned to herself.

Madame Wu and Rena had no real clue about who Alexandria Reed really was. While Madame Wu was familiar with the spy and assassin whom Alexandria had once been, Alexandria was much more these days. She was much more powerful and her skills much more honed then they had been the last time she'd had a run in with the old woman. And Rena would regret siding with Wu and making an enemy out of Alexandria Reed. It had been Alexandria's money and backing that had helped Rena get into the position that she currently was in and when it was seen that the 'queen' of New York had turned her back against Rena, it wouldn't take long for those who supported Alexandria to begin to do the same.

Eric then spoke up about it being time to have a face to face meeting with Madame Wu and Alexandria looked at him. This worried her. She knew how dangerous Wu could be and she knew what it was like to be hunted by the woman. Adam spoke up about how Eric didn't know where Wu was and Eric said that he believed that she was in the city and how he was sure of where she could be found that evening. He then turned to Alexandria to reassure her, as well as the others, of having a plan. He would be taking several of them as back-up. Alexandria, Tristan and Adam would be going with him while Tina stayed behind with Image, Dak, Tabitha and Angel at the manor.

When she was told to contact Lincoln Rhodes, Iron Dragon and Street Devil, Alexandria nodded. All three of them would be a great help to them that evening against Wu. The group of them would be positioned outside of the restaurant as his backup if he needed help. He gave Richard a kiss and then handed the toddler over to Angel who wrapped her arms protectively around the child. Angel loved Richard as if he were her own. This was what made Alexandria comfortable in leaving her son in the winged womans hands. Moving over to Angel, Alexandria kissed Richard on the top of the head before locking eyes with Angel. "Take care of our cub." she softly told Angel before giving her a soft kiss and Angel nodded. "With my life if I have to." Angel promised, nuzzling Richard soft hair. She watched as Alexandria and the others began to move off to get ready for this mission.

It wasn't long before they were on their way out of the manor. Eric by car and the others by their own methods of travel. Alexandria took an avian form, one of a pigeon since they were so common in New York. As she had changed her clothes, she had contacted Street Devil as well as Lincoln Rhodes to let them know about what was going on that night. She knew that Lincoln Rhodes would contact his partner, but she asked him to just in case. As Eric drove, Alexandria flew through the trees along the side of the road until the trees ran out. When they did, she moved higher into the sky so that she was moving quickly through the clouds. She was high enough to not be easily noticed by anyone following Eric, but low enough to keep an eye on him.
 
With Alexandria moving ahead to set everything up. Tristan & Adam took one of the Raven Jets. Adam was dressed in his Nighthawk costume. Tristan had brought along the change of clothes for Eric. Lincoln Rhodes, Street Devil & Iron Dragon all headed for the Golden Dragon restaurant. Alexandria had instructed them to watch the restaurant from street level. She, Tristan & Nighthawk would be watching from above. Both teams ready to move if Eric needed back up. The Raven Jet was landed on the roof of a nearby building. The larger buildings had heliports able to handle the weight of the jet. Tristan & Nighthawk then left the jet. They were still a few blocks away. They couldn't land the jet any closer. Nighthawk took Raven's costume, which was inside a large black bag. He slung it over his shoulder, then leaped off the roof. Deploying his wings, Nighthawk took flight. Tristan was ready to follow, but something made him look around. Like his mother, Tristan had been trained as an assassin and spy. The young man felt that something just wasn't right. But, he couldn't see anything out of place. Everything seemed normal. Tristan still didn't feel right. He shifted into air, then went towards the restaurant. Alexandria and her boys each had positions on rooftops around the restaurant. The place was covered, above and below.

Eric pulled his car up in front of the Golden Dragon. He shut the engine off, then slowly climbed from the sports car. Eric walked towards the restaurant. Taking a moment to peer in through the front window. He saw a woman sitting alone at a table eating. She was Asian, around her mid 30's. Hardly an older woman, but she used some unknown power to keep herself looking young. Madame Wu was one of the few people older then Alexandria. Eric entered the restaurant and approached the woman seated at the table. She never once looked up at the unknown visitor. " My name is Eric Reed.........I assume you are Madame Wu. " Eric's words did nothing to make the woman look at him. She quietly ate and drank her tea. " It has come to my attention you have targeted my family for death........Just because my sister wouldn't let you have that building without a fight......I'm here to tell you to back off.......You maybe a big deal in China......But you're in New York and New York has always been Reed territory. " Eric's bold words made the woman finally stop eating. She looked up at Eric, with a smile on her face. " You are a brave man Mr. Reed.......Coming here alone to confront me.......Very few have ever shown such courage.....I admire men like you.......Sadly such men don't last long. " Just as Madame Wu finished speaking. Eric felt a gun press against the back of his head.

Madame Wu said Eric wouldn't be alone for long. She said the rest of his family would soon be joining him. Eric spun quickly. Grabbing the man's hand. He delivered several strikes before disarming the man. The man fell to the floor, as Eric pointed the pistol at Madame Wu. It would be so easy to unload the clip into the Asian woman. That wasn't Eric's way. In less then 30 seconds. Eric took the pistol apart, then tossed the pieces onto the table. This drew laughter from Madame Wu. " Very well done Mr. Reed.......It seems I have underestimated you.......There is far more to you then just business. " Madame Wu spoke. She then snapped her fingers and a young woman appeared from the kitchen. The young woman was also Asian. She wore a Japanese school girl outfit. At that same moment, on the rooftop where Alexandria was watching from. A large black crow dropped down from the night sky. " Caw......caw.......caw. " It called out to Alexandria. The crow suddenly started to change, taking on a new form. It became a Man, with white skin. " Aleksandra? " The man called out to Alexandria, using her real name. Back in the restaurant, Eric took a step backwards from the table. He had no idea who this woman was. " Suzume.......Introduce yourself to Mr. Reed. " Madame Wu spoke. The young woman would know what to do next.
 
Before she had left the manor ahead of her sons, Alexandria had made sure that Adam had a change of Erics clothes with him. She had given orders for Lincoln Rhodes, Street Devil and Iron Dragon to watch the restaurant from street level while she, Tristan and Nighthawk would watch from above at different spots. If there was any sign of trouble for Eric, they were to move in and offer him back up. Because she left ahead of Tristan and Nighthawk, Alexandria flew quickly through the sky. She left on her own because she would be able to keep an eye on things and move in quickly then if she were on the jet.

By the time her sons reached the restaurant, Alexandria was already perched on the corner of a building across from the Golden Dragon. She looked and acted just like a normal pigeon as she watched the restaurant, occasionally fluttering down into an opening of the sign on the building that she was watching from. There was a pigeons nest there and it looked like she was merely adding more to the nest. When Eric pulled up and shut the car off, Alexandria stopped and watched from her spot in the sign as he head inside. The shifter was extremely tense as she watched him enter the dragons den, as it were. She hated that he was going in there alone. However, at the same time, she was tense because she could feel something wasn't right, but she couldn't tell what it was just yet. So she had her senses open to anything going on around her.

At some point, getting a little restless, Alexandria returned to the rooftop and stood upon the edge of the building, her bright eyes trained upon the building before her. It was during this time that she heard the flutter of wings and she turned her head slightly to see a large crow drop down from the night sky and it called out to her. At first she mostly ignored it, but when it began to change, the woman began to move further away. She watched it change into a man with white skin and she continued to move way from him. Until he called to her again that is. He called out to her and this time he used her birth name and she froze. The pigeon held still, staring at the man suspiciously for several long moments before she changed back, her acid green eyes gazing at the man just as suspiciously as her animal form had and her curly red hair fluttered in the night air, several silky, scarlet red locks brushing her forehead. "Who are you?" she demanded, her body tense as she stared at the man.

Down in the restaurant, a young woman stood in the kitchens overseeing the people still in the back. She watched them impassively. She never seemed to move or even blink. Not until the sound of a mans voice could be heard in the front of the restaurant. When she heard the mans voice, the young woman turned her head slightly, her long dark hair framing her youthful face as she listened to what was going on outfront. That was all she moved until a snap of fingers could be heard. When she heard this, the young woman moved gracefully out of the backroom and she stepped out into the dinning room. The young woman was clad in a Japanese school girl uniform consisting of knee length plaid skirt with a white blouse and tie underneath a black blazer with knee high socks and dress shoes. She didn't wear these clothes because she liked them. She wore them because Madame Wu thought it was amusing to see her dressed as such and her men liked seeing the young woman dressed as such. Especially when it came time for her to be punished if she didn't fulfill Wu's wishes the way the woman wanted.

The young woman that Madame Wu called Suzume looked at Eric calmly as he took a step backwards from the table and Suzume never once looked away from him as Madame Wu told her to introduce herself to Mr. Reed. Hearing this, Suzume bowed slightly to the woman before she began to approach Eric. She looked so young and innocent, just like a girl in high school, it was hard to picture her being dangerous. However, any thoughts that Eric might have along those lines would quickly be dashed when she suddenly attacked him. Once she was close enough, Suzume began to attack Eric. It quickly became obvious that there was much more to this young woman then what meets the eye.
 
On the roof, the unknown man watched the pigeon. He could tell this wasn't a real bird. The man had a sense which he used to detect who this was. Like Alexandra, he was a shape shifter. The man waited until Alexandria turned into a form, they could converse in. That happened when Alexandria became Scarlet Cat. The man was disappointed when she asked who he was. Part of him, had hoped Alexandria would know who he was. Maybe feel who the man was standing before her. Still, it wasn't entirely unexpected that she wouldn't know. A long time had passed since they last saw each other. Alexandria was just a baby. She hadn't even discovered her powers at that time. " You have no reason to fear me........I mean you no harm Aleksandra........I am your father........I have returned from my exile. " Malcot spoke as he looked his daughter over. She was a magnificent looking woman. " You have grown into a very beautiful woman Aleksandra.......Your body is magnificent. " Malcot spoke.

Down in the restaurant. Eric was unsure of who this woman was. He already assumed she wasn't here to just introduce herself. As Madame Wu had said. The young woman seemed nonthreatening while she approached Eric. This did catch him off guard, just for a moment. Once the young woman showed her true colors. Eric found himself on the defensive. Suzume, as Madame Wu called her. Did deliver some strikes, which contacted Eric's stomach and head. He attack sent him backwards, tumbling over a table. Eric jumped to his feet. He was now ready for a fight. Eric got into a fight stance, then made his own attack. He threw several punches to get Suzume's attention. He then delivered a roundhouse kick to her stomach. Madame Wu sipped her tea while watching the entertainment. She always did love a good show with her meals.
 
Alexandria made sure that there was plenty of room between herself and this unknown man. There was a part of her which was reacting to this man. It was telling her that she knew who he was and that he was familiar, but she didn't recognize him. But it certainly wasn't her feline side telling her that he was family. Unlike when she had first been reunited with Tristan, her feline instincts weren't telling her that he was a part of her pride. Her instincts had still recognized Tristan as her cub because he was her child and he had been taken from her. However, with this man, it was different because he had left her, abandoning the young babe before he could imprint on her like she had to Tristan. When he told her that she had no reason to fear him and he meant her no harm, Alexandria scoffed softly but before she could comment, he told her that he was her father and she frowned at him as he commented about her having grown into a beautiful woman with a magnificent body. "I'll credit that to whomever my mother was." she said absently. "And that's not my name anymore. I cast that name aside a long time ago when I left Russia."

Suzume could easily fool others into thinking that she was innocent and harmless. Just how old the young woman was, was hard to tell just by looking at her. Dressed as she currently was, she could easily pass as a high school aged girl. The truth of who she really was, was only known to Madame Wu and her men. When Suzume began attacking Eric, she landed several quick blows to his stomach and head, causing the man to go backwards, tumbling over a table and when he returned to his feet, Suzume was standing there waiting expectantly on him. Personally, Suzume had no hard feelings towards Eric, but she did as her mistress commanded. So when he attacked back, she fought back. As he threw several punches towards her, Suzume dodged and blocked with practiced ease before she was hit with his roundhouse kick. This knocked the wind out of the woman and she stumbled back a bit and hit the side of a table.

The young woman grabbed onto the edge of the table to keep from going over it or falling down. She took a deep breath and pushed away from the table and moved towards Eric again. She was a fierce fighter with the kind of passion that only someone with something extremely precious to lose, fought with. And what that was, was between Suzume and Madame Wu.
 
Suzume was a skilled fighter and she was fighting for something very important. It was something which Eric didn't know about. Whether he would find out, remained to be seen. Eric was fighting for his life. Just as important to Eric as the reason why Suzume was battling. Eric was a skilled fighter in his own right. He trained for years. learning many different sighting styles. Plus, he had the benefit of working out with Alexandria. One of the best fighters Eric had ever seen. Although, this Suzume seemed like she would be able to hold her own, even against Alexandria. The fighting went back and fourth. Suzume knocked Eric down several times. In turn, she got dropped several times as well. Tables & chairs had been busted during what had been a furious fight. Madame Wu had expected Suzume, to defeat Eric Reed. Both seemed evenly matched, and neither gave any ground as the restaurant was trashed. " ENOUGH! " Madame Wu barked out as she stood. She snapped her fingers again. A sign for Suzume to come to her madame. She spoke to Suzume in Chinese. Telling her she would be punished, later on in the usual manner, for failing to defeat Eric Reed. Suzume understood what type of punishment it would be. Madame Wu had a special way of punishing the young woman.

Malcot understood why his daughter was acting this way. She felt abandon by him. She was very short with him and she had every right to be. Malcot wouldn't deny what he did. However, he felt it needed to be done, in order to save her and to show her how cruel humans really were. " Yes.......I know. " Malcot spoke as he stood before his daughter. " You go by Alexandria now.........Alexandria Reed.......You have built a life among humans........Pretending to be one of them......When you are far greater then any human could be. " Malcot continued. He wasn't here to fight Alexandria. Only to speak with her, and reconnect with part of his life. Malcot then smiled as he detected something special about his daughter. " I can sense you are with child.......I'm sure you found a suitable male to breed with........Tell me......How many grandchildren have you given me? " Malcot asked. Alexandria was a fine looking woman, who was no doubt sought after by many.
 
Suzume fought hard against Eric. It quickly became obvious that she wasn't pulling her punches when she struck him. The young woman was easily an even match against him and she could probably even hold her own against Alexandria if she ever fought the shifter. But for now, she was going head to head with Eric Reed who was proving to be a challenge on his own. The two went back and forth, taking turns in knocking each other back and down. While they fought, they sent each other through tables and chairs, something that Suzume knew that Madame Wu would most likely punish her for later. But for now she had a fight to worry about. Eventually Madame Wu stood up while speaking, causing Suzume to step back away from Eric Reed and after the woman snapped her fingers, Suzume approached her madame and she bowed her head as Madame Wu scolded the girl, telling her that she would be punished later on in the usual manner and besides a slight creasing of Suzume's brow, there was barely a reaction from the young woman before she bowed to Madame Wu with a soft apology and she stepped back without an argument on the punishment. Suzume knew better then to argue with the other woman. To argue led to things getting worse.

Alexandria was bothered by just how much this man knew about her. She was a little curious as to whom he was working with, that he knew such information about her. After she told him that she no longer went by the name Aleksandra, he told her that he knew this and that he knew that she went by Alexandria Reed now. When he made the comment of her pretending to be a human when she was far greater then any human was, she turned her head and shook it slightly. "I am no greater then anyone else." she said while adjusting her stance, resting her hip against the wall that went around the rooftop of the building she was standing on.

However, when Malcot spoke of sensing she was with child, the muscles in her shoulders could be seen tensing a little as he commented about her finding a suitable male to breed with before he asked how many grandchildren she had given him. "I have four children already." she said softly while her gaze scanned the buildings around her, briefly searching for Adam. She could sense where Tristan was, though she couldn't pinpoint exactly where he was. "Three of which share my blood, the fourth I've adopted." Alexandria finally turned her head and looked at Malcot again. "Though I'm sure you probably won't like any of them. After all, they're all at least half human."
 
Suzume would be punished for not beating Eric Reed, but she was also being punished because Madame Wu enjoyed watching it happen. She enjoyed seeing her servant abused and used. Madame Wu loved having such power over people. Making others do as she wanted. That was a power, people like Eric & Alexandria had, but wouldn't use. In many cases, the brother & sister could do what they wanted. They could get anything just by dropping their last name. They could make people do anything for them. However, this isn't how Eric & Alexandria used their power, wealth and fame. They worked hard to help those around them. They worked to create a better world for everyone to enjoy and live in. It was possible for Alexandria to have turned out like Madame Wu. She certainly ran with some evil people during a dark part of her life. Still, there was enough good inside of Alexandria, that others were able to reach. She turned her life around and become the respected woman she was today. Totally different from how Madame Wu was. A brutal woman who be came a warlord. So feared by the Chinese Government, they left her rule her own part of their country.

Madame Wu told Suzume to go wait in the back. She then turned and faced Eric. " There is more to you then I could have guessed Mr. Reed.........You have the reputation of being a billionaire playboy.....Not a trained fighter. " Madame Wu spoke with a smile on her face. " Clearly.......If you can match Suzume.......Then sending thugs against you and your family if pointless.......But I'm always ready for anything. " Madame Wu spoke before clapping her hands. The kitchen doors swung open, as a figure appeared. It was a man wearing some type of armor. Madame Wu introduced the person as Steel Serpent, master assassin.

Malcot was pleased to know his daughter had several children. She spoke of having four, three by blood and one adopted. Alexandria's comment about him not liking them because they were part human, made him sigh. " It pains me to know how deeply you miss understand me.........I care for you Alexandria......And you are part human.......Yet you assume I would hate those of my own body. " Malcot spoke while shaking his head. He slightly turned his head. Looking at the great city which spread out in all directions. Malcot said shifters had a natural connection to each other. He said this connection was how he knew so much about Alexandria. Part of her, came from his body. Mating with a full shifter, wasn't like mating with other races. Shifters didn't have what people called sperm. They impregnated by transferring their own cells into the body of the mate. Alexandria was really part of Malcot. More then just a daughter. Part of her was the man standing before her. Malcot said he and Alexandria shared a bond beyond any other. They were connected on a cellular level. Malcot said he and Alexandria could exchange hearts without fear of rejection or death. This is how deeply they were connected.
 
Suzume knew that Madame Wu enjoyed seeing her tormented, used and abused. She was sure that when Madame Wu lost interest in abusing the young woman and Suzume no longer had any use, the woman would probably just kill her. It wouldn't be the first time she'd witnessed the woman do such to someone who was no longer of any use to her. The fact that Madame Wu abused her the way she did just made Suzume hate her all the more. The only reason she didn't try to escape was because of what Madame Wu had over her. After Madame Wu told her to go wait in the back, the young woman bowed again before she turned and disappeared into the backroom where she glared at several of the men waiting in the back. She hated all of them with a passion.

After Alexandria spoke of him not liking them because of them being part human, she heard him sigh before he spoke again. He told her that she misunderstood him. "I'm well aware of what I am. A great man had been able to explain everything about shifters and feral shifters to me and he provided me access to a library unlike any seen on this earth." she told him. However, his comment of her being of his body was slightly confusing. She became completely quiet as he spoke of shifters having a natural connection to each other and that connection was how he knew so much about Alexandria. His comment about them exchanging hearts without fear of rejection or death was a rather disturbing one and she looked over her shoulder at him. "Your own comment led me to think like that." she told him. "The way you speak of humans, doesn't exactly sound like you're fond of them. I, however, happen to be very fond of humans. Some of the best people I've met are of the human race."
 
Malcot listened as Alexandria spoke of humans. How some of the best people she knew, were humans. Her family was a mixed one. Featuring humans and non humans. All getting along with each other, and loving each other without conditions. She'd seen the best and worst of humankind. Alexandria had even been apart of some of the really bad ones. She understood, every race had good and bad. " I'll admit.......Most of my time around human hadn't been pleasant for either side........I'm sure you can understand that. " Malcot spoke, then turned towards his daughter. " I'm like a man who's been locked away in a prison for over 200 years........I was in a place where nothing existed expect for himself and my memories.......My most cherished thoughts were of you.......After so long......I wanted to see you again........I wanted to see what you became........You have made an impressive life for yourself.......Every father wants the best for their daughter.......I can see you've done well in that area. " Malcot added. He moved closer to where Alexandria stood. He reached out with his left hand. Placing his fingers against Alexandria's cheek. Malcot then gently stroked his fingers down to her jaw line.

Malcot didn't know how Alexandria would respond to his touch. He wasn't here to fight her, or to harm her in anyway. Malcot truly wanted to just see his daughter again, for the first time in over 200 years. His plans for the future, remained unknown, to all but him. But, he wanted to enjoy some time with his progeny. The one thing in life he truly loved above all else. Though, Alexandria might have a hard time believing that. Down in the restaurant. Madame Wu smiled before walking away. She would leave Steel Serpent to his work. Madame Wu had something else to do. Suzume needed to be punished. Madame Wu was looking forward to see a good show from her servant. She entered the kitchen, snapped her fingers for Suzume to follow her. The two women slipped out the back door, climbed into a limo and left the area. " Your punishment will be extra sweet tonight my pet. " Madame Wu spoke while playing with a bit of Suzume's long dark hair.
 
Alexandria softly hummed in the back of her throat when he spoke of how he was sure she could understand that most of his time around humans hadn't been pleasant for either side. It was a soft sound which spoke of how she could understand without her actually having to say it. After the way she was treated as a child, she knew what it was like to be treated so horribly. When he said that he had been in a place with nothing but himself and his memories, most of which were of her, she closed her eyes while he told her that he had wanted to see her again after so long. To see what she had become and he complimented her on having done well in her life.

As he moved closer, Alexandria turned to face her completely and she felt his fingers touch her cheek before they gently stroked down over her jaw line. As he did this, her brows creased before she slowly opened her eyes and looked up at him through her long eyelashes. Earlier that evening, she had removed her contacts to give her eyes a rest from them, so at the moment, Malcot was seeing her without her complete disguise as she looked up at him with the eyes she'd been born with. As she looked up at him, Alexandria could feel her body react in a way that it had never done so before in the past. It was her shifter side reacting, not her feral, feline side. It was like her shifter DNA was identifying the man standing before her and recognizing her from a memory that she couldn't recall from a time she couldn't remember. As she gazed at him, some pain could be seen flickering in her bright green eyes. After a bit, she finally looked away, gazing down at the restaurant down below. "What happened to her?" she finally asked, "My mother. What happened to her?"

In the kitchen of the restaurant, Suzume waited quietly for Madame Wu and sure enough, the woman came through the door and when she snapped her fingers, Suzume turned and followed her closely, the younger woman following her like a shadow through the kitchen and out the back door to a waiting limo. Suzume sat there next to Madame Wu as the limo drove off and away from the area before Madame Wu reached out and played with a lock of Suzume's long dark hair, telling her that her punishment would be extra sweet that night and Suzume's jaw clenched slightly. "Yes mistress." she softly said, speaking in Chinese to Madame Wu. Though Suzume knew English and spoke it fluently, she actually rarely spoke it since most of the time she was surrounded by those who spoke Chinese and Japanese.
 
Malcot could see the pain taking form in Alexandria's pretty green eyes. He could even feel her pain. Full shifters, like Malcot, could feel the emotions of those who were apart of their bodies. Alexandria was only part shifter. What she could feel, came from her feline senses. Still, her shifer side became more alive, more active then ever before. She was reacting to her real father being there. Malcot watched as she turned her head. Asking him about her mother. What happened to her, was what Alexandria wanted to know. " I don't know.......Those were dark days.......Humans hunted mutants and anyone different like they were monsters......Your mother was very beautiful and sexy.......She was from royal feline blood.......Her only concern was for your safety......She didn't even want to know where you were.......In case the humans would capture her and force her to admit to having a child. " Malcot spoke in a soft tone. " I took you to a place where I was told there would be people who would care for you........I left a trail your mother could follow.......Obviously she never followed or never had the chance. " Malcot continued. He then spoke of being sent away right after that. Malcot spoke of never having the benefit of a fair trial. Of having justice like humans always speak of.

" I don't know what happened to your mother........I was attacked......Beaten down and forced into Limbo. " Malcot said while taking his fingers. Moving them to Alexandria's chin. He then gently turned her head back towards him. " I loved your mother deeply........Just as I love you Alexandria. " Malcot's voice was soft and caring as he spoke with his daughter. He then asked to see her real form. Malcot knew Alexandria was keep it that side hidden away. It was obvious, nothing had changed in 200 years. His daughter couldn't be her real self. She needed to hide behind what humans thought was normal. Alexandria couldn't openly show what she really looked like. Not in public. She had to play at looking normal. Play at being something she wasn't. This was the reason why Malcot did the things he did. He knew the real monsters, were the humans who hated anything that was different.
 
After asking about her mother, Alexandria was silent as he spoke of not knowing what happened to her. He told her that it they had been dark days when humans hunted both mutants and anyone different then they were like they were monsters. His comment of her mother having been beautiful and sexy made her smile slightly and she nodded to show that she knew about the royal bloodline. She had learned this when she met the felines many months back and they discovered that she was of royal heritage. Her father spoke of how her mothers only concern had been for her safety and that she didn't want to know where she was in case she was captured and forced to admit to having a child, but he had left a trail for her mother to follow. But it had been a trail that she never got to follow, though if it had been by choice or not, would remain unknown.

Her father then spoke of how he had been sent away right after that. He said he'd been attacked, beaten down and forced into Limbo. When he gently cupped her chin in his fingers, she looked up at him again as he said that he had loved her mother, just as he loved her. Alexandria was at war with herself. Her heart wanted so badly to have her true father in her life, while in her mind, she knew of his past and of what he'd done. She knew why he had been sent away and it was hard for her to just outright deny him. When he asked to see her real form, she looked unsure. Like with her recent lover, her form was something she rarely showed others outside of her close circle of family. For what felt like a long time, but was only perhaps a minute or two, Alexandria stared up at him before she swallowed softly and nodded before changing into her natural form, her once curly bright red hair changing to long, ink black locks which fell down her back and her skin got more fair. It was obvious that she'd gotten some of her natural features from her father, while the rest came from her mother.
 
In all honesty. Malcot had done many terrible things in his past. The same could be said for Alexandria. She'd been given several chances before turning her life around. Alexandria joined Captain Liberty & Chip towards the end of World War II. Afterwards, she returned to working with bad people, though not as bad as the Nazis had been. It was a lesser form of evil she went back to work with. It wasn't until Alexandria had met Thomas Reed & Doctor Alvin Simms, that she truly turned her life around and started working for the side of good. Malcot had been sent away for over 200 years. Surely, he deserved a chance to turn his life around. He could be a very powerful ally. It wouldn't be easy for Malcot. He'd been away from a world that changed a lot during 200 years. He couldn't be expected to become a saint over night. What Malcot needed, was time with his daughter. Time for her to show him the good humans did have. She could show him, you couldn't paint an entire race as bad, because a few had done terrible things.

Malcot could feel how unsure his daughter was of revealing her true look. He understood why she felt that way. Her feelings deepened his feelings for why she shouldn't have to hide. Alexandria did change. Her transformation brought a smile to Malcot's face. " You look so much like your mother. " Malcot spoke, his fingers continued to gently stroke over her face. He then placed his arms around her. Pulling Alexandria into a hug. " I missed you so much my sweet girl. " Malcot said, he then pressed a kiss against Alexandria's forehead. Unknown to the father & daughter. Trouble was about to bring their reunion to a sudden stop. Down in the restaurant. Steel Serpent had pulled his sword. Eric was using everything he could grab to defend himself. Just as Eric's voice came over the communicator, asking for help. More trouble arrived on the scene. Protector and several other heroes arrived. They'd come to take Scarlet Cat & Nighthawk into custody. Tristan was still in his air form and remained undetected. Only Scarlet Cat, Nighthawk & Eric knew for sure that he was around. " You two!.......You're both under arrest! " Protector spoke to Cat and her father. Malcot didn't know who these strangers were, but he wasn't happy they interrupted his reunion with Alexandria.
 
The life that Alexandria had led had been hard and full of anger, hatred and abuse from those around her and those who had been in a position of power over her. Growing up, all she wanted was a true parental figure who loved her for her. When she'd first met Anton, he had used that want against her. She had at first thought of him as a father figure, but things had quickly changed once he had her ensnared in his organization and she'd gotten in too deep to leave right away. It had taken a long time before she finally met someone who cared about her as a living being and that had been Chip and Cap. However, she had lost them towards the end of WW2. After she lost them, she had returned to working for some shady characters for a couple years. None were as bad as the Nazi's though. However, once she had met Thomas Reed and Doctor Alvin Simms, she truly turned away from working for bad people. After that, she did continue her spy work and she did do the occasional assassination, but her targets were truly bad people. Such as war lords, people involved in slave trade and in munition trades. It was only after returning to New York that she stopped assassinations completely.

After she changed back to her human form, she saw her father smile and he told her that she looked so much like her mother and she smiled slightly before she gasped when she was pulled into a hug, her body being pulled close to him as he hugged her and then pressed a kiss against her forehead. For a long moment, she stood there, completely surprised at the sudden hug before her arms slowly wrapped around Malcot. However, their moment was interrupted. First by Eric asking for help and then by Protector appearing and telling them that they were under arrest. When she heard Protector, Scarlet Cat softly growled in frustration and she slowly pulled back from her father. "I need to go." she softly told him as she pulled out of his arms. "My mate needs my help and you should go before they truly target you as well." As she pulled back, she returned to her Scarlet Cat form and she glared up at Protector. "And you! You're being a nuisance." she told Protector while pointing at her. "One I don't have time for. You may not be my ally at the moment, but don't make me an enemy."

With a soft growl, she turned and leapt over the edge of the roof, shifting in mid-air into her air form and she moved quickly in the direction of restaurant. When she was near it, she shifted back and contacted Nighthawk, telling him to be careful because they had company out to arrest them. As she spoke, she ran at the door of the restaurant, shoving it open in mid-stride. Upon entering, Scarlet Cat saw Steel Serpent attacking Eric. When she saw him, her eyes widened slightly. She knew of him and she growled softly when she saw Eric trying to fend him off. With that, she rushed forward and pulled Eric back away from Steel Serpent and placed herself between them. "We have company outside." she told Eric. She shifted just enough to use her powers over air to shove Steel Serpent back a couple feet. "Protector and a couple others are out there. Apparently, I'm under arrest."
 
Protector couldn't let threats from Scarlet Cat stop her. She had a job to do. Arresting Scarlet Cat, Nighthawk and any others not working for the government, was part of her job. The woman inside the armor, Samantha Blair, had enjoyed a pleasure filled afternoon with Alexandria a while back. The two women made each other cum, several times that day. They became friends, and business partners. Now, because of their political views. The two women were on opposite sides of this fight. Protector didn't want to hurt Scarlet Cat, but Cat knew she was no longer allowed to be a superhero. It was now against the law for anyone expect for government agents to patrol the cities looking for villains. Scarlet Cat's speed was awesome. She was leaped from the roof, moments before Protector fired an energy beam at her friend. Malcot jumped in the way of the blast. Taking it in his chest. He crumbled to the root, holding his chest. Protector assumed this unknown man was down. She blew passed his prone body. Flying down towards the ground. Protector soon picked up where Scarlet Cat went.

Protector then connected the rest of her team. She said Scarlet Cat was on the loose. Nighthawk was ready to move, but he was shot by Crimson Archer. The arrow tied the young hero up. " Stay down!.......You're under arrest......Do make things worse for yourself. " Archer said while he contacted Protector. He spoke of having captured Nighthawk. The rest of Protector's team, Silver Streak, Lighting, Arachnia, Ice and Ghost were engaging the backup Alexandria had set up. Linc, Iron Dragon and Street Devil found themselves targets of the other heroes.

Eric was damn glad when Alexandria busted into the restaurant. He was running out of chairs and table legs to defend himself with. A sigh escaped Eric when he was told about what was now happening outside. Eric turned to make a quick exit, but saw Protector standing in the street. Suddenly, she was joined by Superior Man dropped down from the sky. Eric looked back over his shoulder. Steel Serpent was getting back to his feet. Scarlet Cat's move had taken him off his feet. " Nothing will stop me from killing each member of the Reed Family! " Steel Serpent growled out. He and Alexandria had several run ins over the years. To be honest, Alexandria had these run ins with different male members of the same family. They all worked for Madame Wu. Each was one of her best assassins. They wore an armor which added to their strength, and made it hard for anyone to hurt them. Like Iron Dragon, they were given the power of a deity. The Steel Serpent. " I don't think I can get to my change of clothes.......And I think we'll need more backup or we'll all be arrested. " Eric spoke while drawing Cat's attention to who was now in the street. A gust of wind blew into the restaurant. Taking Steel Serpent down again. This wind became Tristan. " Nighthawk is down.......The rest of our team is fighting with Protector's team........There's a man laying on the roof......He looks dead or injured......I couldn't tell......Protector blasted him when Cat jumped from the roof......Plus a Blackhawk helicopter landed a block away.......A group of those super powered government agents is headed this way. " Tristan spoke, as Steel Serpent rose to his feet again. This was turning into Area 51, all over again.
 
Scarlet Cat cared about the woman inside of the Protector armor and she had once considered her to be a very dear friend and even her lover. But now that Samantha Blair was working for a government that Scarlet Cat refused to be enslaved by, they had become enemies. Cat didn't think it was right for the government to force an ultimatum on them. Either work for a corrupt government or be arrested. This was something she would never submit to. She already worked for a group like the current government in the past and it was something she promised Eric's uncle she would never do again. After she burst into the restaurant, she watched as Steel Serpant was shoved back and she watched him carefully as he began to get to his feet again. At the same time she was listening to Eric speak and she glanced outside to see Superior Man and she clenched her jaw.

A moment later a gust of wind blew into the restaurant, forcing Steel Serpant down again and she sighed while Tristan took form with them and told them that Nighthawk was down and the rest of their team was fighting with Protector's team. A soft distressed sound escaped Cat when she heard her son was down and it got a little louder when she was told that a man was laying on the roof and he looked wither dead or injured. Tristan told her that Protector had blasted him when she had jumped from the roof. "I doubt he's dead and he can fend for himself. I'll explain later." she softly said before tensing when she heard that a Blackhawk helicopter had just landed a block away with a group of super powered government agents heading their way.

At the same time, Steel Serpent was once again getting to his feet. Scarlet Cat huffed softly to herself, looking back and forth between the way through the back, which was blocked by Steel Serpent, and the way out the front which would bring them face to face with Protector and Superior Man. "We need to get out of here." she told Eric and Tristan. "I think through the back would be the best. Clearly Protector won't hesitate to shoot in order to bring us down. And we need to see about getting Nighthawk and the others out of here once we're out of here." If they were arrested, Alexandria knew that she and Tristan would be collared with the very items that the Reed Family had sold to the government for control over super powered villains. And if Eric was arrested, that would take nearly the whole Reed Family out of commission. Not only that, but she had doubts that the government would actually successfully protect Eric Reed from someone like Steel Serpent. As far as she knew, Scarlet Cat was one of the very few who ever escaped relatively unscathed from Steel Serpent.
 
Things certainly looked dark at the moment, but that's when normally something unexpected would happen, for the good. Steel Serpent wasn't expecting so many people. He knew of Scarlet Cat, but didn't knew he'd face her in the past, or that others of his family had faced her. Steel Serpent was here to kill Eric Reed, but that didn't seem likely to happen. Not at the moment anyway. Eric Reed was being protected by two people with superpowers. This made Steel Serpent back off a bit. He was blocking the back way out. Eric kept his eyes on Protector & Superior Man out on the street. " A shield! " Eric yelled out as Protector was knocked away by a flying shield. The metal shield struck her hard in the head and sent her crashing to the ground. A large green colored energy fist then slugged Superior Man, sending him flying through the air. " Emerald Knight! " Eric spoke out loud, he pointed towards the street. Suddenly, Captain Liberty & Emerald Knight appeared in front of the restaurant.

Emerald Knight had returned from space and was clearly on Raven & Scarlet Cat's side in this fight. Eric, Scarlet Cat & Tristan rushed outside. Leaving Steel Serpent behind. He had become suddenly out numbered by allies of Eric Reed. This confused the assassin, since he wasn't told to expect this type of trouble. Cap turned, greeting Scarlet Cat. " I've been doing some recruiting. " Cap spoke as others moved up. Joining the team were Doctor Stephen Specter, Green Archer, Lightspeed and American Dream. Lightspeed was one of the older, retired heroes. He decided to put on his costume once more and rejoin the fight for right. Doctor Specter was known to Scarlet Cat & Eric. They never met her before today. Both green Archer & American Dream were new to the superhero scene. American Dream had become Cap's newest partner. He'd been training her in secret.

" You're all under arrest! " Protector's voice was heard. She & Superior Man were back on their feet and had been joined by other members of their team. Amazon, Gator, Arachnia, Power Woman and Silver Streak had joined them. Amazon & Power Woman were new faces. It wasn't known how they got powers, or even what powers they had. But, the battle lines had been drawn. Scarlet Cat's side was joined by Lincoln Rhodes, Street Devil & Iron Dragon. Sadly, Ice had been injured during the fight. She had been friends with Cat, but was supporting the wrong side in this war. Eric used the show down to slip away from the street. He planned on getting his costume and freeing Nighthawk. " Just give up Cat.......You know I don't wanna hurt you or anyone.......You're breaking the law......Do the right thing and surrender. " Protector was hoping she could make Scarlet Cat see how pointless this fight would be. Besides, Cat and the others were breaking the law by showing themselves.
 
Things were looking very bad for the group right now and Scarlet Cat, like an actual wild animal, got extremely defensive and even violent when she felt threatened and backed into a corner. She was looking back and forth between the two ways out, both of which were blocked by an enemy, though she personally loathed to call Protector and Superior Man such a thing. However, Eric suddenly yelled out about a shield and she turned in time to see one smack into Protector, striking her in the head and she was sent crashing to the ground, shortly followed by Superior Man being send flying through the night by a large green colored energy in the shape of a fist. Seeing this told Scarlet Cat exactly who had just arrived and she couldn't keep the smile from her face as she hurried out of the restaurant.

Scarlet Cat hurried over to Cap and smiled up at him, her green eyes bright and the relief in seeing him and Emerald Knight showing on her face. "I could kiss you." she told Cap as she got closer to him and he turned to greet her. His mention of having been doing some recruiting made her look at the others moving up and she nodded. "I can see this." she commented before glancing at Lightspeed. She was familiar with the hero, though had never met him in person. She knew from his bio that he had retired, so to see him was a bit of a surprise. Another surprise was Doctor Specter. She was known to Scarlet Cat and Eric, but they hadn't met her before. "I can honestly say it's a relief to finally see some friendly faces." she told them before turning when she heard Protector's voice.

Protector was once again claiming they were all under arrest. Scarlet Cat turned and saw that she and Superior Man were on their feet and had been joined by the other members of their team. Two of them were new faces and they weren't sure what kind of powers they might have or how they might of gotten them, but they were on the side of Protector and of the government, so that made them Foes. As the two different teams stood across from each other, it became clear that the lines were drawn between the two teams and now what had once been a group of allies and team mates, had been divided. Scarlet Cat knew that Eric had slipped away and she hoped that he managed to get his costume and to free Nighthawk.

She listened as Protector told her to just give up and she claimed that she didn't want to hurt anyone. That they were breaking the law, so they should do the right thing and surrender. "Surrender? To the person who just shot a man?" she questioned. "A man who wasn't even involved in this? And surrender to what? A life of servitude and imprisonment? Sorry, but I was a slave once already in my life, I'm not about to willingly give up my life to the kind of people you currently work for. The kind of people who pose ultimatums such as work for us, or be arrested. I'm pretty sure everyone else is of the same mindset." She shook her head while looking at Protector and the team behind her. "And the fact that you're okay with sitting on your hands and waiting to be told when you're allowed to go out and help people, like the good little pets you are, is pathetic. Don't think I've not been watching the news and keeping an eye on things. Since you signed your life over to them, crime has gone up and none of you have been out there helping those who need it the most. I don't know who you are, but you certainly aren't a Protector. You're a Puppet."

Scarlet Cat looked at her friend in disgust and shook her head. Normally, Scarlet Cat had usually been fairly quiet during the meetings with the heroes and Raven did most of the talking. But when the fiery red head spoke up, it was usually important. Those that she saw more often were able to spend time with her and talk at length with her and they knew that Scarlet Cat was a passionate, hot blooded woman who had strong beliefs about being controlled by others. "I don't speak for the others when I say this, but I'd rather die, then surrender to you and work for them." she finally told Protector.
 
Captain Liberty was pleased to see his oldest lover again. They became lovers before Cap & Chip disappeared towards the end of World War II. Scarlet Cat & Cap reconnected, once Cap was found to be alive. Cat also reconnected with Chip. After he was rescued and placed in one of Raven's nests. Chip was safe inside one of the many hidden bases Raven had around the city. Cap was also using that base, since he found out that Alexandria had Chip there. This allowed the old friends to talk over what happened after they were lost. It helped Chip to expect his past. Alexandria had a lot to do with Chip getting better. She spent as much time with him as possible. However, Alexandria had become very busy over the last month. She didn't have time to visit Cap & Chip as much as she would like. This is why Cap flashed Scarlet Cat a wicked grin when she spoke of kissing him. He'd like a kiss from her, but he'd also like a lot more from her. Before Protector went into her bit about surrendering. Cap had leaned over and whispered into Scarlet Cat's ear. How much he wanted to fuck her wet pussy. Fuck her until she was screaming out with pleasure.

When Protector started about them surrendering. Cap sighed while moving back away from Scarlet Cat. She was like a rain cloud which just put a damper on their moment. Protector was conflicted by her feelings. She didn't want to fight with Scarlet Cat. They'd been friends ever since Cat joined the league. Protector would be even more conflicted if she knew who Scarlet Cat really was. Had she known Cat was Alexandria. The same woman who made love with her in the steam room. Protector wouldn't be fighting against her. She never would have signed on with the government. No matter what she thought was right. Protector heard her friend speak and while she understood her reasons, she felt those reasons were wrong. " Cat.......We may not agree with everything those in power do.......But as Americans it's our job to support whoever is president........Even if we didn't vote for him.........Please......Just surrender. " Protector was hoping her friend would see the logic behind surrendering. " I don't wanna fight you Cat........But you're breaking the law......You were told to sign on or retire.........Being on the streets in your costumes is against the law.......We have to take you in. " Protector knew most of her teammates wouldn't hold back much longer.

" Enough Protector!........You've tried to convince your friend......It's time for them to give up or run like cowards! " Superior Man boldly spoke. He then glared at Scarlet Cat & Captain Liberty as they stood side by side. A blue jay landed on a nearby mail box. It was eying up Scarlet Cat and her team. " I've heard a lot about you and your partner Raven. " Superior Man continued. " I heard Raven was someone to fear........I see that was just a tall tale........This Raven should be called Chicken......Or he'd be here at your side......Ready to taste defeat like you and your allies soon will. " Superior Man added, then a woman dropped down out if the night sky. Her scent would be very familiar to Alexandria. This unknown young woman, had a similar scent to Tina Reed. Though, she only had a slight similarity in her looks with Tina. Superior Man introduced her as Ultragirl. Obviously this was a clone, but not a complete clone or she would look just like Tina. Ultragirl fired beams from her eyes towards Scarlet Cat. Using his shield, Cap blocked the beams, but the impact took him off his feet. Knocking him backwards. " Come on bitch!.......Fight of give up!......You cowards won't get away this time! " Ultragirl snapped at Scarlet Cat.
 
Alexandria was very happy to see Cap again. She loved the man dearly. She had become very close to him and Chip before they had both disappeared towards the end of the second world war. For a very long time she had believed that both men were dead only to reconnect with Cap after he was found to be alive and then later with Chip after he was rescued and released from the hold of those that had been controlling the young man. Once Cap was informed that Chip was hidden away in one of Raven's Nests, he began to visit Chip and she spent time with both men, reconnecting with them over time. However, with how crazy things have gotten, she hadn't been able to spend as much time with them as she wanted. So after she spoke of kissing Cap, she saw his wicked grin and she smiled back at him before he leaned over and whispered into her ear about fucking her until she was screaming with pleasure. This made her laugh softly and grin with a soft purr. The look on her face said enough about what she thought about this and it wasn't a negative thought in any way.

However, their small moment was broken when Protector spoke up and Scarlet Cat made a soft sound of disappointment when Cap moved away from her. She turned to look at Protector as she pleaded with the shifter about just surrendering. The comment about them supporting whomever was president being their job as Americans made Scarlet Cat look over at Cap. Not many knew it, though Cap was one whom did, but Scarlet Cat wasn't American. Sure, she did had multiple citizenships from all over the world, but American was one she never bothered with. This was something that Cap knew. One of the last times she visited Chip and he was over, it had been something that randomly came up during one of their conversations. The red head looked at Protector again as she told them that they had been told to sign on or retire. That being on the streets in their costumes was against the law. "Mmm, but I'm not in costume. Technically, I'm naked. My powers just makes it look like I'm wearing clothes." she said with a wicked grin and a gleam in her eye. She was teasing Protector and the woman in the metal suit didn't know the full extent of Scarlets powers, so for all she knew, Scarlet Cat was telling the truth.

However, Superior Man then spoke up about it being time for them to give up or run like cowards. He then began to speak of Raven and the woman raised an eyebrow when he spoke of Raven being someone to fear, but Raven should just be called Chicken or he'd be there at her side. "Tch, just because you don't see him, doesn't mean he isn't here." she told Superior Man. She knew that Eric had slipped away to try to get his costume and then hopefully free Nighhawk. "Besides, I'm a big girl. He knows I can take care of myself." Then a woman dropped down from the night sky and Scarlet Cat tilted her head slightly as she took in the girls scent. The smell of her made her growl to herself and she narrowed her gaze. She smelled similar to her daughter and that made her tense while baring her teeth a little. Moments later, the girl fired beams from her eyes at the shifter and if it wasn't for Caps shield, she would of been hit. This impact knocked him back and she watched him with slightly widened eyes before she turned sharply to glare at Protector and her team. "So it's not enough to attack those you claim to be friends with, but you cloned my cub?!" she hissed at Protector.

While Scarlet Cat didn't keep the fact that she was Stargirls mother under lock and key, it was something she didn't speak about openly very often. That she mentioned it at all at the moment said that she was quite pissed. She pointed at Ultragirl after the girl called Scarlet Cat a bitch and ordered the shifter to fight or give up and she glared at her. "You're nothing but a cheap copy." she told the girl. The anger and hate that Scarlet Cat usually kept tightly under wraps was beginning to show as she glared at the people across from her, some of her natural feline markings beginning to show just a little. Normally she was carefully controlled because of how dangerous she was when she went completely feral, but something about knowing that they had dared to clone her daughter had pissed Scarlet Cat off in a way that the others had never really seen her before.
 
Things were quickly spinning out of control. Protector could hear and see the anger Scarlet Cat had, when Ultragirl arrived. She had no idea, Ultragirl was a clone. Created from some stray bits of DNA collected by government agents. This was the reason why Ultragirl wasn't a complete copy of Stargirl. They had to mix in other DNA, giving her a different look. None of this would matter to Scarlet Cat. She was pissed because the government dared to defile one of her cubs. Using Tina's DNA to create this abomination standing before her. Protector could see the change happening to Scarlet Cat. The always sexy looking hero, was looking more and more like a wild cat. " NO CAT!.......I didn't know!......I had nothing to do with her! " Protector pleaded with Scarlet Cat. She hoped her one time friend would understand. Protector wasn't involved with creating anyone. She was just doing her job. By this time, Cap was back on his feet. The impact didn't hurt him. He rolled with the blow. On the roof, above the scene below. Eric reached the top. Slowly easing the door open. He spotted Crimson Archer and Nighthawk. Crimson Archer was standing, looking over the edge His bow in his his hand and an arrow ready to fire. Eric reached into his coat pocket. He pulled out a small metal ball. It was the size of a marble. Eric knelt down, flicking the marble towards Crimson Archer. The small metal ball slowly rolled acrossed the roof, stopping when it reached where Crimson Archer stood. It began releasing gas. Crimson Archer looked down, as gas poured out. He was overcome quickly and slumped to the roof.

Eric rushed out, onto the roof. He quickly moved towards where Nighthawk was tied up. " I couldn't break free. " Nighthawk spoke with disgust in his voice. The stuff Crimson Archer used, contracted every time someone struggled to break free. It became tighter and tighter. " It's alright.......I'll get you free. " Eric told his son. He then reached into Nighthawk's belt and pulled out a laser cutting torch. Eric used the torch to free Nighthawk. He then asked where his change of clothing was? Nighthawk pointed to where she stashed the bag. It was carefully hidden inside an air vent. Eric pulled the bag out, and started to quickly change. Down below, things were about to blow wide open. " There's nothing cheap about me bitch! " Ultragirl hissed out, she then moved and grabbed Scarlet Cat. Her sudden move, showed she was just as fast as Stargirl. Once Scarlet Cat was grabbed, Cap yelled for the team to attack! The two sides then began fighting. All expect for Protector & Ghost. Protector backed away from the fighting. Ghost couldn't do this any longer. She thought, she was doing what was right. However, some of the new people she worked with, weren't good people. Ghost could no longer side with them. She dove at Ultragirl. Using her powers, she phased through her and grabbed Scarlet Cat. Again using her powers. Ghost phased Cat's body, allowing her to slip free from Ultragirl. " TRAITOR! " Ultragirl shouted out at Ghost, who landed on the ground while still holding Scarlet Cat. She returned their bodies to a solid state once Cat was free and just before they hit the ground. " I can't fight against you.......This is all so wrong. " Ghost said while still holding onto Scarlet Cat. Part of the young woman was fearful of the wild cat showing. She knew Scarlet Cat could rip her apart if she wanted, despite Ghost's powers. Superior Man then looked upwards. He spotted movement on the roof above them. Standing on the roof, were Nighthawk & Raven. " Finally!.......He has come! " Superior Man spoke as he looked upwards. Ultragirl said Superior Man should just kill Raven and get it over with.
 
The animal instincts that made up so much of who Scarlet Cat was, was raging and fighting to be free. The government had insulted Scarlet Cat many times in the past and it was something she'd always been able to brush off. But this transgression against her own child was something she wouldn't be able to forgive. She was extremely protective of Stargirl despite the girl being able to take care of herself, something that had been joked about in the past by some of the other heroes in a good natured way. Many joked about how Scarlet Cat was like a mother hen towards the young woman, but few knew just how close they were to hitting the mark with their comments. As Protector denied having any involvement with Ultragirl and pleaded with the shifter, the redhead merely glared at her. She looked ready to pounce when Untragirl attacked first.

She moved and grabbed Scarlet Cat, causing the redhead to make a sound similar to an angry feline as she struggled against the other woman. Scarlet Cat heard Cap yell for their side to attack and the two teams attacked each other in the middle of the street. Scarlet Cat reached up and wrapped one of her hands in Ultragirls long hair and pulled, hard. "I will fucking maul you." she growled while her other hand moved and cupped the bottom of Ultragirls jaw. She was poised to attempt to dig her growing claws into the other womans skin when Ghost phased through Ultragirl and grabbed onto Scarlet Cat, pulling the shifter away from Ultragirl, both women falling to the ground. When they returned to solid form, Scarlet Cats hands latched onto the young womans arms and her gaze locked onto the girl as she said that she couldn't fight against Cat. It took a moment for the woman to process Ghosts words before she released her arms and firmly but gently pushed her back. "Then you might want to leave." she suggested to the young woman. "I doubt they're going to forgive you turning on them."

Her attention was drawn to Superior Man when he spoke and she followed his gaze up to where Nighthawk and Raven were. However, when Ultragirl spoke about Superior Man just killing Raven, this made Scarlet Cat growl and her eyes shifted completely to their natural acid green. "They want us out of costume, they can fucking have me out of costume." she said to Ghost before letting go of her powers, revealing her entirely natural form. In her natural form, Scarlet Cat looked so much like a feline, that all she needed were a pair of cat ears on top of her head and a tail, and she'd look like a humanoid cat. With her disguise thrown to the wayside, she launched herself back into the fray. She launched herself at Ultragirls back, wrapping an arm around her throat and her long legs became locked around her waist. Her arm was wrapped around Ultragirls throat in a way to try and cut off her air.
 
Ghost could see the fury in Scarlet Cat's eyes. Never in her life, had she seen Scarlet Cat, so anger and unleashed. The young woman felt the push, but she didn't leave. She couldn't fight against her friends, but she could fight against these other people. Ghost was taken by surprise when Scarlet Cat let her true form be seen. The young woman gasped in surprise. She then watched as Cat leaped back into the fight, attacking Ultragirl. This was insane. Scarlet Cat was powerful, but she was fighting a clone of Stargirl. This made Ultragirl just as powerful and just as invulnerable as the teenage heroine. Scarlet Cat was letting her anger cloud her judgement. Protector stepped forwards, grabbing Superior Man by the arm. She pleaded with him to stop this. He just glared at her. " The fight had started.......Either fight or go back to the headquarters! " Superior Man then jerked his arm out of Protector's grasp. She reached for him again, but this time he struck her. Slamming his forearm into her chest, knocking her backwards. Superior Man then turned his attention back towards Raven. " I WILL KILL YOU! " Superior Man screamed out. He then launched himself into the air.

Nighthawk leaned closer to Raven. " I hope that backup arrives soon........We have the numbers.......But they have people with more power then we do. " Nighthawk spoke as he watched Superior Man fly into the air. " Move! " Raven ordered. He and Nighthawk both took off into the sky. Superior Man went right after Raven. Black Tiger arrived quickly with the backup Raven asked for. Joining the fight, on the side of Raven & Scarlet Cat were, Phantom Girl, Psi Girl, Golem and She Beast. Protector recovered from the blow she got from Superior Man. She cursed while slamming her fist into the ground. Protector was getting to her feet when Ultragirl grew tired of Scarlet Cat. She knocked the hero from her body. Striking Cat was a forearm blow. The impact sent Cat hurling towards a building. Before she made contact, Protector flew in, catching her friend and taking the impact with her armor. " Bitch! " She Beast growled out while delivering a punch which knocked Ultragirl down the street.

As Protector let Scarlet Cat go. Her armor had been damaged by the impact. Cat would be fine, since Protector took the brunt of the impact. Suddenly that blue bird flew down from the mail box. It had remained there, even as the fight started. The bird started at Scarlet Cat for a moment, then it started changing. Shifting into another form. One Scarlet Cat would know right away. The bird became a young woman, with green colored skin.
