Requiem of Destruction (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

It took them a good bit before they finally arrived at his estate and it looked disgustingly familiar. "Welcome to the Takeda estate!" Daihachi smiled. Takeda? Why did that sound familiar?

A deeply rooted, intense fear gripped at Minehime's chest, but for some strange reason, she couldn't identify why she was scared. "I-It's beautiful.." She couldn't take her eyes off of the estate, taking her brain for answers.

"Y-Yeah.." She didn't mean to do so, but she couldn't help it. She hadn't been outside in over a decade, let alone meeting new people, so when she took his hand and squeezed it tight, she hardly noticed.

"No, no! I'm ok, just... I'm shy.." She muttered softly, squeezing his hand tight and not letting go.

He nodded and took her up the stairs to the courtyard where he knew his father would be. "Tou-san!" He called when he saw his father training, "I made a friend today!"

Yukimura had changed quite a bit in the past sixteen years, his hair still in the familiar ponytail, but much longer. He dressed more conservatively, but was just as fit as ever, if not more. "Morinobu..!" He set his weapons aside and smiled widely at his son, a proud sparkle in his eyes when he looked upon his child. "A friend? Wonderful! What's her name?" He asked. Minehime seemed to become. Ore shy, hiding behind Daihachi and clinging to his clothes.

"Of course!" Yukimura bowed his head to Minehime, who stayed behind Daihachi with a small nod.

"Akihime-sama, Daihachi-sama has returned to the estate, he appears to be fine, although..." Amaya hesitated, sitting on the floor, holding a chained man in her arms and stroking his hair.

"Minehime-dono, this is my father, Sanada Yukimura! The Tiger Cub of Kai! Alrhough..." He frowned softly, "I suppose you should be known only as the Tiger now, huh, Tou-san?" It had been a few years, but Shingen's health had only worsened and he passed in his sleep sometime while Daihachi was still young.

The man was pale, thin, lifeless. He leaned against Amaya and didn't bother moving or fighting her. He was broken. Akihime looked over, glad to hear that her son was well. "Although?" She urged, and her tone held a hint of ice to it.

Minehime gave a small nod to Yukimura, who in fact was the tiger of Kai now, still truly felt in his heart his master was and always would be the true Tiger of Kai. "That title applies to many men." He said with a soft smile.

Amaya gently pulled the emaciated man closer, placing a gentle kiss on his forehead. "He's unharmed, he simply has company. I don't know who, they don't feel familiar, but they aren't hostile." She said, lifting the mans chin and cupping his cheek.

"Will I be the Tiger of Kai one day?" Daihachi's eyes ignited with a similar fire that his father's always held, always ever wanting to make Yukimura proud.

"Company?" Akihime repeated, returning her attention to her potions, "We should go say hello, shouldn't we?"
The man, Sasuke, didn't turn away or flinch when she touched him. He didn't care anymore.

Yukimura beamed back. "You're already the Tiger Cub of Kai! Of course!" He seemed so sure about it, but he had reason to, Daihachi was more than capable in his eyes to lead Kai once he became a man.

"Yukimura-sama is already speaking with them." She said, gently caressing his face, brushing his lips with her thumb before gently placing his head against her shoulder.

"I won't let you down, Tou-san." He stated.

Sasuke trembled briefly at the mention of Yukimura's name, but remained quiet regardless. Akihime smiled more and headed off, "I'll be back. I want to meet our new guest."

Minehime had been quiet up until the point she felt another person approaching. "N-No.."
Yukimura turned when he heard someone approaching, smiling when he saw Akihime. "Akihime." He smiled and moved over to her. "This is-" When he turned to face the two, he only saw one. Minehime was gone, and instead, a dagger was wedged in Daihachi's belt.

Akihime noticed immediately, "Daihachi-kun, when did you find a living weapon?" She asked. Oh, she was beyond livid. She had given up on the shard for over sixteen years, and her little bastard son brings the damned thing home with him. But she didn't let Yukimura or Daihachi see how absolutely furious she was. Daihachi looked confused to see the dagger on his belt.
"I...didn't know what she was, honestly. I met her in the woods all on her own...scared and starving...I thought it the right thing to bring her here, so she could recover!"

"That's truly strange.." Yukimura commented. "Her appearance hadn't been normal, but I never could have assumed that she was a weapon." He frowned softly.

"You can't let her take me!" A voice pleaded, resonating clearly in his head. "Please! She'll hurt me!"

Daihachi jumped out of his skin, eyes wide in terror. Was that Minehime? "I-I'm sorry, I'm going to go to my room...!" He said and hurried off. Akihime hid her mouth behind the sleeve of her kimono, "I hope I did not upset him..."

"Minehime-dono? H-How are you in my head?" Daihachi asked nervously.

"He's young, don't worry too much." He kissed Akihime's forehead. "Would you like for me to speak to him?" He asked.

"I... Only those with souls on the same wavelength can..." She was still speaking inside of Daihachi's head, and though it didn't hurt, the dagger on his hip hummed softly.

She nodded, "Please, Yukimura-sama...?"

"That...That's incredible!" His terror and shock was immediately replaced with astonishment, "What's a living weapon, by the way?" He still sounded excited.

"A living weapon is-"
"Morinobu?" It was Yukimura, knocking gently on the door, and as soon as he spoke up, Minehime went quiet.

Minehime still kept silent as the door slid open, Yukimura stepping inside. "Morinobu.." He gave a sad smile. "Your mother is worried... She doesn't want you getting hurt, and a Living Weapon isn't like any other weapon.." He hesitated. "It'd do your mothers heart good if you didn't play with it too much."

Daihachi looked confused, "Dangerous? Minehime-dono isn't dangerous...actually, she was asking me to keep Kaa-san away from her," he frowned, "she said Kaa-san would hurt her..."
