Requiem of Destruction (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

Minehime sat down on a nearby rock, pulling the blanket close, shivering still. "You... You said your name was Daihachi..?" She asked.

"Morinobu.." She murmured. "I didn't know you could take multiple names... Is that common?" She asked.

"When you come of age and are ready to take a commanding or ruling role, you decide a new name...sort of like a 'new slate' kind of thing." He told her before finally finding his tunic and handing it over, "Here you go!"

"Ruling role?" Minehime stood, taking the tunic and setting the blanket on the rock before she began to simply undress right there. It had never been weird when she had changed in front of Hidemune, of course, he almost always had to help her change clothes due to her being challenged at such a task, that and she had only done it when she was in the form of a small child, so it never occurred to her that it was strange.

She pulled the gown on over her head and wrapped the blankets around her shoulders once more. "Is your father dying?" She asked.

He cautiously glanced back to make sure it was safe before completely turning back to her, face still a beat red. "No, it's just a coming of age kind of thing. My father is very healthy!"

"Oh." She blinked and looked down at her hands. "If you're going to be next in line, why are you out here?"

"Oh, I wanted to do some exploring! I love the outdoors but my mother never lets me go anywhere." He grinned sheepishly, "She thinks I'm in town running errands for father~"

There it was agan, that similarity to Hidemune she thought she'd never again see in another person. "Aren't you afraid of being in trouble?"

Minehime glanced up at him, then back down at her hands. "I-I should probably go... I'm keeping you from your home and your family.." She said, standing up.

"But, I'd be intruding..." She felt a pang of guilt in her chest, fidgeting a bit, she didn't mean to hurt his feelings. "Are... Are you sure it's alright..?"

"Sure I'm sure! Father loves meeting new people! I'm positive he would love to meet you, as well! Please...? I would hate to know that you may fall to harm if you stayed out here..." He said

"Would I... Would I be able to accompany you on other adventures that you have..?" She looked a bit embarrassed, cheeks flushed as she looked at him.

She blushed more. "Y-You don't have to bow!" She stammered, trying to get him to stand up straight.

"You could never!" She took a step forward. "You've been nothing but kind..! If anything, I should be bowing to you!"

His smile made her heart skip a beat, and her face flushed again, making her nod. "O-Ok.." She nodded, moving over to help him pack.

When they finished packing, he walked with her to his home, telling her about how beautiful his estate was and how she would love living there with him and his parents. He was so sweet and kind, almost like Hidemune reincarnated to be with her still.

Being with him brought her heart joy, she couldn't explain why, but every time he smiled at her, she felt all of the pain from the last sixteen years fade away.
