Requiem of Destruction (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

Minehime scowled, Hidemune hadn't done anything bad, why didn't they like him? Simply because he was allied with Hideyoshi?

They were stopped before they could see Ieyasu. "What does Hideyoshi want?"
"We aren't here for Hideyoshi. We're here to request shelter." Hidemune said.

Minehime looked down at the ground, studying her own feet as she let Hidemune do all the talking.

The man made a noise and allowed them to pass. Hidemune took Minehime up with him to Ieyasu, who was sitting and laughing joyously with his generals.

Minehime was unsure about this Ieyasu, all she had was what Hidemune said, even so, she was apprehensive.

"Hidemune-dono! What brings you here?" Ieyasu greeted with a smile. Hidemune moved closer and bowed.
"We have...left Hideyoshi's command and wish to join you and seek refuge." Hidemune said. Ieyasu frowned softly.
"I see...you do not wish to say why?"
"No, sir..."

Minehime gripped Hidemune's shirt even tighter, moving behind Hidemune, but for some reason, the feeling being projected was that she was protecting him.

"Your companion is rather anxious." Ieyasu noted, but there was no hint of malice in his tone. Hidemuje looked to Minehime.
"She is nervous around strangers." He replied. Ieyasu gave a disarming smile.
"It's alright, child, you're safe here." He said.

Minehime's face flushed when Ieyasu pointed her out. "G-Gomenasai.." She bowed her head to him, heart beating faster; why was she so scared?

"Well, you are more than welcome to stay here in my estate until we can get you a proper home to call your own." Ieyasu said. Hidemune bowed deeply.
"Arigatou gozaimasu, Ieyasu-sama...!"

Minehime followed Hidemune closely, not letting go of his hand for a second. "He seems... strange..." She said softly. "He seems nice, but at the same time, like he's hiding something.."

She shook her head. "Not that he has bad intentions... Just.. it feels like he's shouldering something bad." She said softly.

He made a noise and stepped into their room with her. It was fairly comfortable looking with a bed big enough for the both of them. "He did break away from Hideyoshi-sama long before I arrived...Mitsunari-sama doesn't like talking about it."

"Oh." She moved to the bed and sat down. She stared at the ground, frowning; she felt a bit guilty for judging Ieyasu so quickly.

She shook her head quickly. "No! I'm just tired, sorry.." She shook her head and smiled at him. "You should rest." She motioned for him to come closer, ready for bed herself.

Minehime nuzzled close to Hidemune, curled into a loose ball. "Daisuki, Onii-chan." She said softly, resting her head against his chest.
