Requiem of Destruction (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

The woman turned around- no the girl did, looking at Hidemune with lifeless eyes. It was Minehime, she was wearing different clothing, a red kimono with a yellow datejime tied around her waist. Her eyes cleared when she saw Hidemune, and tears slipped down her cheeks. She sprang forward and collapsed into Hidemune, holding him tightly.

His chest ached, eyes wide as he held her numbly before bursting into tears and holding her tight, M...Minehime...! G-Gods, it's you! You're ok!"

Minehime nodded, tears streaming down her cheeks, nuzzling into his shirt. "Gomenasai..!" She had grown a bit more, looking to be a young teen, her hair more shaggy and her clothes different, but she still had all her memories and was still the same old Minehime.

She nodded her head vigorously. "I forgive you..!" She cried; it was quite the scene, the both of them were a mess, but it was clear they loved each other.

He pulled back and looked her over, "Gods, look at you..." He muttered, "So beautiful..." He sniffled and shook his head, "We have to go. We need to leave Osaka."

She blinked in confusion, tears still in her eyes. "Why? What happened?" She asked, only having memories up until the point she was broken in half.

She frowned and nodded. "Ok, I'll go." She agreed. "Wherever you go, I'll follow." She promised.

He nodded and took her back to the castle, sneaking her up to his room before grabbing a couple packs and starting to dump as much into them as he could.

Minehime packed the small trinkets she couldn't bear to leave behind, all gifts from Hidemune. After she had her things ready, she stood in wait, nervous to leave.

Minehime followed close behind, holding his hand tightly as they moved through the halls and out the back door of the castle.

He took a horse and didn't bother saddling it; he tied the packs togther and put them in front with the weight evenly distributed. He looked to Minehime, "Do you want to continue as your weapon form?" He asked.

She nodded, it sounding like the easiest and best option for travel. As if on instinct, Minehime stepped forward into Hidemune's shadow, sinking into it, appearing out of thin air on his belt as a dagger.

"Gomen, if it's too weird I can stop." Minehime's voice reverberated through Hidemune's head, gentle as always.

They travelled for what felt like months, only stopping when the horse could no longer continue. He made sure it rested properly and was given plenty of water before they continued onward.

Minehime didn't need food or water, so Hidemune and the horse were the only two who needed to eat. She stayed mostly in dagger form, except for when they camped out for the night, only then did she join him in human form.

"The best place for us would be Ieyasu-sama's territory. He and Hideyoshi-sama are at odds with each other right now, so we should be safe there." He said one night as they laid together.

Minehime lay at his side, curled up with her head rested on his chest. "Will he allow us refuge? We're from Hideyoshi's army, and you were a general.." She asked, looking up at him.
