Requiem of Destruction (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

She nodded and let out a soft breath, looking up at the starry sky. "I'm sorry we had to run." She said, looking up at him. "If it wasn't for me... You'd still be at your home.. But I'm selfish.. I don't want to leave you."

He sat up a bit to look at her, "Minehime, you aren't selfish one bit. I would rather be far from Osaka with you safe than be there and not have you with me." He said, "I care about you...you mean so much to me and I was heartbroken when that horrible woman..." he stopped and took a breath, "If anyone is selfish, I am."

She shook her head and sat up a bit as well, holding Hidemune's hand. "Maybe we both are.. But I'm ok with that." She smiled softly. "As long as I get to be with you, I'm sure all my sins will be forgotten."

She gave a small nod and rested back against him, closing her eyes. Hopefully, they wouldn't run into any sort of trouble on the way there.

Minehime woke when rough hands yanked her from Hidemune's warm grasp, eyes shooting open as the two were torn apart from each other. Bandits? She didn't struggle, not sure of what was quite happening yet, but she looked for Hidemune, worried for him.

"Get up!" Hidemune was yanked to his feet, "Give us your valuables!" Definitely bandits. Hidemune glared.
"I have nothing to give you pigs."
"Wrong answer, kid." One growled and punched Hidemune in the gut.

"Nii-chan!" Minehime's stomach jumped into her throats when Hidemune was punched, making her lurch forward, but she was held back by one of the bandits.

Minehime seemed to not care one bit, not even noticing their attention was on her now. "Let him to please." She requested, but it was clear she was on edge.

Oh, we'll let him go. If you come with us~"
"Yeah, we haven't had someone so young before~"
"You touch her in any way, I'll cut your goddamn hands off!" Hidemune spat, only to get punched again.

Oh. They were going to take her from Hidemune. Something clicked in her head, and suddenly, she was halfway toward Hidemune, walking calmly toward him. "Sure." The man who had been holding Minehime was still in place, only now, his arms at the elbows were missing, the severed arms laying on the ground; a clean cut. "As long as I can have your heads." She wrapped her arms around Hidemune's neck and held him gently. All of the men who held Hidemune didn't even have time to register what happened; all at once, their heads fell from their shoulders, severed neatly at the neck. "Daijoubu?" She asked Hidemune, looking up at him in worry; the only bandit left standing was the man who's arms she had cut off.

"Wh-What...what the hell are you?!" The man screamed, falling backwards; his brain still hadn't registered the limbs were missing. Hidemune held her and nodded.
"Daijoubu da..." He replied softly.

"Damare." Minehime's slitted eyes fell onto the bandit, and instantly, his head fell from his shoulders like the others. Turning back to Hidemune, her eyes were soft once more. Cupping his cheek, she smiled. "Sorry for making a mess."

She nodded, helping him pick up camp so they could move, simply stepping over the bodies as they worked.

Hidemune found the horse, the poor thing had been spooked and it ran away. They strapped everything to the horse and tugged it up a ways before setting up again.

Minehime was beyond tired when they reached their new campsite, but still plugged on and helped Hidemune unpack.

Minehime crashed beside him, falling asleep once again, the night continuing as a peaceful one.

Minehime decided to return to human form once they reached the city. "What's wrong?" She asked, frowning softly.
