Requiem of Destruction (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

"Megohime-dono..." Kojurou looked worried. Matsunaga smirked cruelly.
"Ah, I had forgotten that Masamune had the first ever Living Weapon in his possession. You would make a beautiful addition to my collection." Matsunaga stated.

Megohime's lip curled in a snarl, her grip on her blade tightening. "Kojurou! Go! Get Jin and find Masamune!" Megohime charged forward at Matsunaga, red eyes practically glowing as she attacked.

"H-Hai!" Kojurou moved and carefully picked up Jin. His heart tore to pieces at the sight of her and he moved passed Matsunaga to try and find Masamune. Matsunaga kept his attention on Megohime, smirking lightly.
"How are you enjoying being with your new master? I imagine Masamune isn't nearly as compassionate."

"A lot more than I am." Megohime said, slashing at Matsunaga before throwing the blade like a javelin, a new blade appearing in her hand as she charged again.

Jin was lighter than Kojurou could remember, and dark bruises were visible on the side of her head. Though her wound had been sewn shut, blood leaked from to wound, leaving a trailing of blood on the floor. Had she really done this to herself?

Matsunaga side stepped the blade and chuckled softly, "Has he slain a dragon for you yet? I hear it's the ultimate sign of affection."

"Masamune-sama!" Kojurou called. Masamune looked up from punching Kotaro to the point his mask started to split. He frowned when he saw Jin.
"She gonna be ok?"
"We need to get her to a healer soon or she is lost."
"Where's Mego?"
"She told me to come get you.."
"You left her with that freak?!"

Megohime's entire body went rigid, her eyes wide, blade slipping from her gasp and hitting the ground. "No one knew... I made sure... They were all gone." She muttered, the light in her eyes flickering in and out. She slowly sunk to her knees, still muttering to herself. "The whole city was in flames, I destroyed it all.. Killed thousands..."

"Oh, I see...still a sore subject." He noted as he moved closer, "Not all died, your Highness~ you should have double checked."
"Yo!" Matsunaga looked back, only to grunt and fall over as Kotaro's dazed body collided with his. Masamune moved over to Megohime and picked her up, "Come on, Mego, let's go. We need to get Jin help."

Megohime stood up, then looked up at Masamune with lifeless eyes, blinking a few times before the light returned to her eyes. "Y-Yeah.." She nodded and followed after Masamune, her face still pale.

He pulled her along gently and left the manor, Kojurou waiting outside. The grass was stained with Jin's blood.
"We have to hurry, please, she's dying." His voice was shaking. Masamune looked to Megohime.
"How fast can you get us to Osaka...?"

"Carrying three people? Probably 40 minutes." She frowned, looking to Jin, who was bleeding out in Kojurou's arms. "Going full speed I could get her there in less than ten minutes. But that's carrying only one." She said.

Megohime wanted to protest, but she knew right now wasn't the time. Changing into her dragon form once more, she allowed Kojurou to climb onto her, Jin's blood soaking into her mane. She took to the skies at a bearable pace, allowing Kojurou to get used to her speed before steadily going faster and faster. She did her best to make sure Kojurou and Jin wouldn't fall off, but she felt Kojurou's grip slip a few times. Like she had promised, Megohime made it to Osaka in eight minutes flat, not bothering to go through the front door. She went straight for the large windows where she could smell Akihime, crashing through them and landing in what looked like a library.

Akihime took a moment before slowly looking up from her book with a blank expression. "I won't even begin to list off the thousands of ways that was rude."
"Akihime-dono, please." Kojurou slipped from Megohime's neck, still clutching Jin in his arms, "Please, she's dying, you're the only mage I know who can help her." Akihime's eyes widened, never believing she would see another female Ancient Elf in her life. She stood and nodded.
"Follow me, quickly. She doesn't have much time." She said. Kojurou looked back to Megohime and bowed his head.
"Arigatou, Megohime-dono." He said before following Akihime.

Megohime shook the broken glass and books from herself, letting out a grunt when Kojurou thanked her, only changing back to her human form when they were gone.

Jin's bleeding had stopped, but that wasn't a good sign. She had lost too much blood, enough that it no longer came outside of her body. Kojurou then noticed she was no longer breathing, lips blue. She had lost enough blood to keep her heart from beating properly.

Kojurou laid Jin on the medical bed and let Akihime work. He prayed that they got her help in time. He couldn't live with the idea of being too late to help his wife. Imagining their son growing up without a mother tore him up more.
"Can you save her, Akihime-dono...?" He asked weakly. She made a noise, frowning faintly.
"It will take a lot of life based magic, but I can return life to her. It will depend if she has the will to live after that."
"What does that mean...?"
"It means she may not wake up for a while, Katakura-sama. But her life will be restored."

Amaya stood just out of the way, a neutral expression on her face, even when her eyes scanned over to look at Jin. "Would you have me call for all of your healers?" Amaya asked softly.

"Yes, I will need all the help I can get. Thank you, Amaya." She said, "Katakura-sama, why don't you go make yourself comfortable? This will take a while."
"I..." Kojurou frowned but nodded, "Hai...thank you..." He said and left the room.

Amaya bowed her head before leaving the room to gather every healer Akihime had in Osaka castle. When she returned, everyone was already ready to operate, following every command Akihime gave. Amaya moved out of the room to stand guard at the doors, waiting for Akihime to finish.

It took maybe a day or so for Masamune to get there, even with the specially bred horses of Oshuu. He saw Megohime still outside and moved over, "Hey..." he kissed her head gently, "Any word?"

Megohime had waited outside the castle until Masamune arrived, partially because she didn't want to be inside without Masamune, and partially because she wasn't allowed inside. "No ones told me anything.." She mumbled.

He took her hand and walked inside with her, looking for Kojurou. The Right Eye was in the dining room with a plate of food but didn't touch a bite.
"Kojurou." He looked up when he heard his lord's voice, watching as Masamune and Megohime approached, "Any word?"
"No...Akihime-dono hasn't come to me with any news."

Megohime scowled. "I wouldn't trust that witch to wipe my ass, are you sure she's not pulling anything funny?" Megohime glanced over at Masamune, but said nothing aloud.
"Katakura-sama?" One of the healers who was helping Akihime approached the three, bowing his head. "Akihime-sama has requested you come back-" He glanced at Megohime and Masamune. "Alone."

Jin lay in a bed, wrapped up in bandages, with Akihime still seemingly working on her. The assistant bowed to Kojurou before stepping away to give him space.

"Akihime-dono?"
"Ah, Katakura-sama. Jin-dono is stable now, her wound is merely a scar now. However...there was such extensive blood loss that she will be stuck in this state for a while." She said. Kojurou felt his heart sink.
"State...? Is she...?"
"She's not going to wake up, Katakura-sama." She told him, "Could be weeks, months...years...it's hard to tell."
