Requiem of Destruction (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

It had been at least three months since Jin was taken and Kojurou had nearly given up hope. He had received no further clues from her in that time span and was no closer to finding her. He tried to keep strong, for Jin's sake, but he was slowly finding no point in continuing.

Megohime did all she could to help Kojurou, even going as far as to take her dragon form and searching for miles each day, still, there was no trace of Jin, nor the mountain range that she had depicted on the only clue she had sent.

Jin had become more compliant as time went on, and soon it was clear why. As each week passed, her stomach swelled with life, she was pregnant. Although this brought her great joy, it also brought her great worry. Matsunaga had said nothing of her pregnancy, but she knew he had noticed. Now it was simply a waiting game, waiting for the time when she would birth her child.
That night did come, after dinner and her bath, Jin was awoken by excruciating pain. Barely managing to get from her bed without falling, she clutched her stomach with a low groan of pain. Her water had already broke, and contractions were hitting her fast and hard. With each contraction, she let out a cry of pain, eventually sinking to her knees with a whimper.

The servants moved in quickly and there was no sign of Matsunaga yet. They helped Jin back into bed and prepared for the long tedious process of helping deliver her child. They tried to soothe her, knowing she was scared, but they assured her that it would be ok.

This birthing when relatively easy compared to the previous ones, where she was mostly tied down the entire time. Still, hours of her screaming and struggling would go by before a new crying was heard, that of a babes. Jin had scooped up her child before any of the servants could, holding her child with tears in her eyes. She trembled, using her sleeve to wipe the blood from her child; the babe had light hair, just like Jin, as well as her golden eyes, and Kojurou's darker complexion. She held her baby tight to her chest and started to weep.

They all have her a moment, wanting her to enjoy the beautiful moment. But the mood changed drastically when the door opened and Matsunaga stepped in. "I was wondering when you would bear Katakura-sama's child." He stated as he moved closer.

Jin stiffened when Maysunaga's voice rung in her ears, her eyes meeting his. She turned her child away from him, holding the fussing baby boy against her breast. "Get out.." Her voice shook with her fatigue, but her eyes blazed.

"I'm afraid a child has no place here, Jin-dono. Kotaro." Jin felt a firm hand around her wrist and Kotaro pulled her grip free of the infant as Matsunaga took the boy away screaming for his mother. Kotaro held Jin firmly to keep her from reaching for Matsunaga or the child as his master left the room.

"No..! No! No!" Jin thrashed against Kotaro, kicking and scratching, swinging wildly to try anything to free herself to get to her child. Her screaming only made the child scream more, further fueling Jin. "No! Don't take him! Don't take my baby! Give him back!" She screamed, unable to free herself from Kotaro's grip, then sunk her teeth deep into his forearm, drawing blood that trickled down her chin.

Kotaro's expression didn't change but his body tensed hard before he started punching her in the head to try and force her to either let go or fall unconscious. The servants had no choice but to leave, going against Kotaro meant certain death.

Every time his fist connected with her head, she saw stars, but she only clamped down harder. Only after five or six good punches to the temple did her grip loosen. She clawed at his arm, kicking to try and free herself, but with one more good punch, she released his arm, head spinning and vision fading. "Please... I'll do anything.." Tears flowed down her face, which was twisted in sorrow. "Please... Please do not take my child.."

No noise came from Jin's room all night, and when she was invited down for breakfast in the morning, she did agree, but when she showed, she was wearing the same nightgown as before, bloodstains and all, and she hadn't yet bathed.
"F-Forgive me, Matsunaga-sama." The servant who brought her down bowed to him. "She refused to bathe or change clothing.." Jin had a blank look on her face, eyes dull, dark bags under them. Before Matsunaga could speak, Jin spoke first. "Where is my son?"

She took an unsteady step forward, tears falling down her cheeks, but her lifeless expression didn't change. "Where?" She asked, trembling.

Megohime had been trying her best to have a relaxing morning after returning from Osaka, but something wouldn't stop making an awful noise. A bird? Either way, it had been screeching all morning, and she was going to find it, and roast it alive. She searched for about fifteen minutes before she found the source of the noise, staring at the cloth wrapped child in shock.
"Masamune, main hall, bring Kojurou." Megohime's voice woke Masamune, and she sounded quite startled.

"An orphanage. Hopefully he will find a good home and parents to care for him." He replied.

Masamune groaned and pulled the blanket over his head, "Five more minutes, Mego..."

Her lower lip trembled and she kept a steady, but shaky pace toward Matsunaga. "Give him back.. Give me back my son!!" She suddenly charged at Matsunaga, pulling a dining knife from her sleeve and raising it over her head. She launched herself at Matsunaga, eyes wild as she brought the knife down toward his chest.

"MASAMUNE!!" Megohime growled in irritation, the baby in her arms still screaming and fussing, red faced. "Shit..!" She went in search of Kojurou, trying to calm the baby, but not knowing how.

He grabbed her wrist hard, almost to a breaking point, using an unimaginable amount of force to shove her back against the table. "That was very rude, Jin-dono. After all the kindness I showed you? After taking your child to his homeland instead of tossing him in the garbage, or worse, killing him like Mitsuhide had with your other children? Your response is to make an attempt on my life?"

"God, ok, ok, lemme go see if he's up. Be there in a sec." He said, crawling out of bed and moving to go get Kojurou. Kojurou hadn't slept, he didn't sleep anymore. He looked when there was a knock and Masamune stepped in. "Mego wants us in the main hall. Sounds important." He said. Kojurou nodded and followed his lord.

Jin grunted in pain when he slammed her back against the table, effectively pinning her to the spot. She refused to let go of the knife however, still trying to force it forward into his chest. "Don't you ever speak that monsters name!" She kicked at him, trying to get back onto her feet. "Get..! Off!!" She struggle hard, but he was stronger.

Megohime met Masamune and Kojurou halfway to the main hall, still holding the child. "This was out front..!" She held out the squirming child. It stared up at Kojurou with gold eyes, little whisps of light gold hair, and slightly pointed ears.

"Your dead husband was quite cruel to you." He continued, "He feigned his love so he could use you for your body to appease his Gods. That's why you couldn't trust Katakura-sama for the longest time. You were scared."

Kojurou's eyes widened and he shakily took the boy from her. Masamune looked confused, "Kojurou...?"
"My son..." Kojurou muttered, "She...we have a son..."
"That's a bit of a stretch, Kojurou..." Masamune frowned. Kojurou shot a glare at his lord.
"Do you know of any other Ancient Elves who could mother this child?" He hissed and Masamune shut up.

Jin felt tears slide down her cheeks and she tried harder to force the knife into him. "Shut up! That's not true! I trust Kojurou!" She brought her knee hard into his groin, trying to roll onto her side to get away.

Megohime stared at the baby before looking to Kojurou. "The child has both Jin's scent and the scent of the man from before." She said softly, then looked down at the ground. "Kojurou... Are you sure he's yours..?" She asked quietly. It was a fair question, Jin was gone for quite some time, perhaps it was Jin's but could Kojurou be sure it really was his?

Matsunaga grunted and shoved her aside hard. "Then what's taken him so long to find you?"

"I know he's mine...he settled down when I took him..." He said, like that was the only justification he needed. He offered his finger to the infant, "The man that took her must've handled him for a long period of time..." This was the calmest Kojurou had been in months.

Jin cried out as she tumbled over the table, landing hard on the floor. "H-He's..." She stayed on the floor, fighting the tears that dripped onto the floor, fists clenched. Where was he? No, she needed to give him time, he was an amazing man, but he wasn't all-knowing. She needed to believe he'd find her.

Megohime looked at the floor, face flushed with shame. "Sorry, I shouldn't have said anything..." She muttered, then shook her head. "We have a baby... But no Jin, and one clue."

"Not coming, Jin-dono. He would have been here by now, it's been months." He told her calmly, "How do you know he didn't just marry you to keep you for himself?" No, Kojurou wasn't like that. He was so patient and kind when they made love, he went out of his way to do anything she asked. Why would he do that if he didn't love her?

"Clue? What clue? Maybe I can help?" Masamune asked. Kojurou looked and nodded before taking him to his room. He showed Masamune the cloth and the One Eyed Dragon looked it over carefully, "Oh, I know where those mountains are." He said simply. Kojurou's eyes widened.
"You...You do?"
"Yeah, they're near Crescent Ridge, where Mego was hiding."
"Why didn't you say so sooner?!" Kojurou snapped, beyond livid. Masamune scowled.
"Well, if you had fucking come to me instead of wearing Mego into the ground!"

"You're wrong! You don't know anything about Kojurou!" She snarled at him, shaking her head furiously. "All you know are the things others saw when spying on us!"

"I offered Kojurou my help!" Megohime snapped at Masamune. "He didn't force me!" She scowled, glaring at the mountain range on the cloth. Why hadn't she remembered? She had lived in those mountains for hundreds of years, yet even now, looking at the picture, she couldn't recognize them.

"If that is what you wish to believe." He said gently, "You should go clean up."

"Ok, ok, fine. We know she's in the area, and alive," Masamune gestured to the infant, "But we still don't have an accurate location."
