Requiem of Destruction (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

Amaya stood by the door, arms at her sides as she stared at the floor; having been posted to watch Jin in Akihime's absence.
Jin was breathing normally, her skin having regained some of its color, but she still looked like she was in bad shape.

"Will I be able to take her home? She has a baby and-" Kojurou instantly noticed the wicked smile that tugged the corners of Akihime's lips and she hid it with her sleeve.
"Ah, gomen, Katakura-sama...she needs to stay here so we can keep an eye on her in case her condition worsens." She told him. He lowered his gaze.
"I see...is there anything else I need to know?"
"Not at this moment, but I will keep you notified." She smiled. Kojurou nodded, hesitating before he left; he didn't want to leave Jin alone but did not wish to hinder her healing.

Amaya watched Kojurou leave, then looked to Akihime. "My Lady, you should rest, you've been working for days." She advised softly. "I will keep an eye on our guest, and alert you if her comdition changes."

Akihime tried to stifle a yawn but she couldn't. "You're right, I am rather drained. Don't wear yourself down, Ama.." She said, moving and kissing Amaya's hand, "If you need rest, you should rest too.."

"Of course, thank you my lady." She bowed her head to Akihime again. "I am most grateful for your kindness." She said softly.

Amaya took her post outside the door to Jin's room, standing against the wall, hands clasped behind her back, she didn't move a muscle.

Tenkai moved toward the door steadily, his mask hiding his full expression. He didn't pay Amaya much acknowledgment as he reached to open the door.

Thick brambles wrapped around his wrist and up his arm, thorns digging into his armor and exposed skin. "You do not have permission to enter this room." She said, eyes glued to him, tone deadly serious.

She glared at him, not budging an inch. "You would undo Akihime-sama's work so readily? Be gone from here." She hissed.

"I thought a kinsman would be more understanding." The brambles around his arm slowly started dying, an unholy green light radiating off him, "There are so very few of us left~"

Amaya tried to pull her brambles away, but it was already too late. She could already feel her legs going numb, knees wobbling as she broke out in a cold sweat. "We are not kin.." She struggled to say, swaying a bit before bracing herself against the wall. She ground her teeth, cursing herself as she sunk to her knees, vision fading fast.

She bared her teeth at him, but moments later collapsed into his arms, a pained look twisting her face in her unconsciousness, leaving both herself and Jin vulnerable.

Jin lay still in her bed, chest rising and falling steadily; Akihime had placed a magic barrier around her, and rather than to be used defensively, it worked to heal her while Akihime was gone, although much weaker. A golden light radiated warmth around the sleeping elf, face bruised, and her wound hidden, but healed into a thick scar.

Tenkai moved over slowly and gently played with her hair. "Beautiful as always, Jin-chan...~" He muttered affectionately.

Kojurou didn't really like being apart from Jin like this, especially now that her life was hanging by a thread. He stood and moved to where Jin was being kept for her recovery, curious as to why Amaya was not standing guard like she was supposed to be. He opened the door silently and stepped in, only to fly into a near blinding rage. Tenkai was sitting behind Jin's head, brushing and braiding her hair. He looked up when the door opened and smiled behind his mask. "Ohayo, Katakura-sama. I was just tending to her, they left her so disheveled."
"Get away from my wife." Kojurou snarled. Tenkai furrowed his brows gently.
"Your wife? If I recall, she never divorced from her late husband."
"Because I assumed you were dead. Rest assured, I will make very certain you will remain so this time." He snarled. Tenkai stood, chuckling softly.
"You'll have to find me first." He said before vanishing. Kojurou moved quickly to check on Jin, relieved to see she was unharmed. After Tenkai had vanished, Amaya had vanished from her hiding place in the corner as well.

Jin lay perfectly unharmed, not having moved at all other than having a few braids in her hair. She was still breathing steadily, her face peaceful.

Amaya's concaiousness felt as though it had been thrust upon her, forcing her mind from the inky darkness she had been thrust into. She laid silently where she had been placed, gathering her bearings.

Amaya didn't looked amused; cocking her head, spitting a wad of saliva into his eye before laying back once again. Cold metal enclosed her wrists and ankles, keeping her from getting up.

"I know who I am." She spat out, pulling at the chains to test their strength. "You're commiting a serious offense, release me at once."

"I just wish to help you. You've become completely dissociated with the pride of your race. You are an Ancient Elf after all~ never fear, for I will help you."

"I've already told you, I'm not of your kind, not anymore." She kept her eyes on him, trying to work on her cuffs. "And I don't need, or want your help."
