Last Movie You Saw...

The Dark Knight, and boy does it hold up.

The subtle joy in Lucius's expression when he realized Bruce intended to destroy that sonar technology all along and keep his trust was amazing.

The Dark Knight Rises, and boy is it the worst of the three by far; didn't hate it but man were there some problems with it. Namely Selina Kyle.

Also Beast, and not even Idris Elba could save this abysmal script from itself.

Fantastic Planet (1973). A french animated film. I saw it once when a teen while I was pretty sick with a fever and it felt like a total fever dream. A bit less so when cognizant and older, but it's still very surreal in... 90% Of its setting and story. I'd recommend watching it of only because it's a sort of one of a kind animation, even if much of the animation is rather limited at times.

My partner and I watched/finished ‘Where the Crawdads Sing’ last night. It was a good movie, and im someone from the area where the book was written, but I was a bit underwhelmed by it all.

It had a lot of good moments, and I’ve been told that they book is better… so maybe I’ll try that next

I am in my freakin' element! AMC's doing their October horror movie marathon. All day, every day, nothing but fright flicks! 😁😁😁

Currently showing: Fright Night, circa 1985.

Halloween (1978) and Halloween II (1981). Cuz it's the perfect month to watch scary movies... (It's not that scary).

I don't like repetitive movies. So maybe this whole franchise isn't for me.

Marvel's Special Presentation of Werewolf by Night, followed by Casino Royale. Both great films; I was surprised by the great pure horror of the first flick for sure and loved the vibe and directing style of the piece completely, as well as the use of Man-Thing throughout.

Black sea. My husband wanted submarine, there was Ben mendelsohn. But he wasn't hot.
Birdbox. Yeah, it's good.
