Last Movie You Saw...

Ju-On: The Grudge.

Honestly, I prefer this one much more than the American version. Mostly because Ju-On tells an entire, continuous story, as compared to the American version which was pieced up into three films which got progressively worse. That and I find Japanese horror to be on a level far and above what American horror usually is.

Puppet Master 3

Its a horribly fantastic series so far. Made by Full Moon Studios/Full Moon Pictures which is fairly famous for their B list horror movies. If you love so-bad-they-are-good horror movies with real puppets I highly recommend them

Some movies/Movie Series I recommend from FMS
The Creeps
Killjoy (all of them expect the last one)
Puppet Master
Evil Bong
Gingerdeadman (Again, all of them)

(They also have some funny porno films, though sadly only partial nudity the Virgins of Sherwood Forest is a hilarious movie to get drunk with friends to)

Captain Marvel on the weekend.

I didn't have high-hopes for it, and indeed it wasn't an amazing film, but I still enjoyed it nonetheless.

Captain Marvel. Eh. I felt like the humor was unbalanced/misplaced/stilted - perhaps even unnecessary? - and I'm still not sure how to read Carol. Maybe I need another viewing?

Haven't gotten a chance to go to the theaters lately... so... I rewatched Super Troopers for like the 1000th time... love that movie... never gets old

That I can remember is Clowntergeist.

It's actually a lot better than it sounds, definitely worth it for a good scare.

I thought there were a lot of good things in it, but there were some tiny things that just felt... off.

Anyway, Captain Marvel was the last one I saw in theatres.
Other recents were... let's see, the film adaptation of Into the Woods. Good performances all around, but something that definitely works better as a stage musical.

I saw HTTYD 3 the day it came out. An almost perfect movie, and the only flaws as far as I'm concerned (the non-Hiccup riders basically being little more than comic relief and the fact that compared to some other HTTYD villains Grimmel just wasn't that impressive) didn't keep me from enjoying it greatly.

Also bearded Hiccup at the end was amazing and nobody will ever convince me otherwise!
