Frowned Upon: brother x sister (NightStalker73au & Asterisk)

Henry had felt her eyes on his chest, muscular but still not popular with the ladies for the most part. Perhaps after next month that would change he mused to himself as he stood up and walked across to his wardrobe. Opening it he took out a shirt, leaving the top two buttons undone and put his boots on. Indeed the whole of yesterday had been good for him, making his way downstairs and into the kitchen he laughed softly. "Hope I did not wake you last night."

The girl had certainly been watching his chest. He was so handsome and she was just trying to push those thoughts away. That wasn't anything she should be saying. Her friends usually told her that but that is because Henry was her brother and they could say it to her. Samantha tried to focus on something else until he came down. "Are you kidding? I think I slept like a rock on the lounge chair. I don't even know what time you came in and I left the television on." She mentioned quietly before grinning. "Well, breakfast is done! Hope you like it!" She chimed before sitting down on the place she was no used to sitting.

Henry heard her quietly spoken words and took a seat, his eyes glancing at the pancakes before devouring one with a lick of a lips as approval. Standing he walked to the fridge and took out some juice for himself, pouring a large glass and breaking an egg into it. His own remedy for what may follow last night, not bad right now but he did not need his head any worse. Returning to the table he spoke. "Taste's delicious and thank you."

She smiled as he seemed to devour the breakfast. At least that was before he stood up and made a strange drink. "So I take it you had one too many with your friends yesterday. Are you alright?" She asked watching him before he returned to the table. SHe was so happy that he seemed to like her cooking. Slowly she would get better, hopefully she wouldn't set a toaster on fire every time she tried to do a toast.

Henry laughed softly at her words as he finished off his share of the pancakes, washing it down with half the glass of orange juice and egg mix. Smiling across the table into her eyes he spoke. "Yes I did, try not to make any plans for the last weekend of next month unless you do not wish to come interstate with your brother."

The girl looked at her brother slightly confused at his words. Her fork fell onto her plate when he spoke and she was in a moment silent. "What? You're leaving? With the team? Is that a good thing?" She asked not knowing what to say. It was a good thing she was in vacation too or else she would have to refuse his offer.

Henry noticed the confusion on not just her face but in her voice as she spoke, watching her fork drop to the table he wondered if had been too much for her. "Yesterday the coach put me as starting quarterback for the next three matches and the interstate competition. It's a start and hope a pro team take a chance on me now."

Samantha smile towards her brother as he seemed more then excited. She stood up and hugged him before smiling. "That's great. Congratulations. You seemed to have been so worried yesterday but you seem so much better now. I am glad yout got this chance." She mentioned smiling. The girl had never thought they ould be travelling somewhere else during vacation but it seemed to be all well. She was glad that things were working out for her brother.

Henry returned the hug and noticed how excited she was, no one else in his family would care so the news did not need to be spread around. Standing from the table he chuckled and spoke in a teasing tone. "What are you friends going to think though, going away with your brother interstate."

The girl looked at her brother and stuck her tongue out at him. "As if they would care. I'm you sister, I am no threat to them. They'll probably think you were kind enough to take your little sister with you to cheer you on since you haven't got a girlfriend." She mentioned teasing him lightly. She knew her friends would be a little bit jealouse but she also knew that they wouldn't mind because Henry wouldn't be taken it would just prove he was available to be hunted by girls who wanted a man by their side.

Henry chuckled at her words as he carried his plate to the dishwasher, finishing his drink he set them both into the machine closing it back up. Turning back to face her he spoke. "No girls would be interested , haven't for years and I am happy about that."

Sam looked at him and shook her head. "Yeah right! You just think they haven't been interested. Maybe you don't pay attention or you don't really care for it. You should be a girl for once to hear all their blabbering about boys. Trust me you are one of which are at the top of the list." She mentioned quietly before finishing her pancakes and washing her plate on the sink instead of using the dishwaser. She turned to her brother and smiled towards him. "You might not want a girlfriend but you are not disliked by women either. Why don't you try dating for once." She told him walking to his side smiling.

Henry heard all of her words and with the effects of last night he moved his body to lean against the counter. Taking a few more sips of his water he set the glass down and sighed a little. "Sam you may think or believe that but at matches and afterwords I know which guys get the chicks. Dating is not for me."

The girl looked at him and looked away. "Then which are the ones that get the girls?" She asked wondering if hre brother had even dated. Sam had never had a boyfriend but she thought her brother was already experienced in that section especially since he was in the football team. Many girls loved to watch these games because of all the cute boys and they could bake them some kind of sweet and congratulate the boy they like after the game with it. Sam always thought that a bit pathetic but she never said anything.

Henry heard her words and chuckled softly as he moved from the kitchen. Standing near the corridor he spoke before heading towards the back part of the house. "Oh the other jocks usually. Girls have their favorites for a reason, I am not one of them."

Samantha sighed before smiling has her brother seemed to go upstairs. She wondered what he was up to but she didn't say anything. Once the kitchen was clean from her cooking she walked upstairs. Maybe she could make his bed and do the laundry. That would help him with some of the house work.

Henry had walked out the back door and to his small shed, opening it he took the shears and used them on the small front and side hedge before working on the one surrounding the pool. He kept thinking back to what she had been talking about. It would stay with him for awhile now.

After the kitchen she went into the rooms just dong some house work before taking the laundry. It seemed he was working outside so it was her job to take care of the inside. It was maybe an hour or a long time before she appeared outside just to hang the laundry. It was quite a beautiful day. Being short the girl had some difficulty with it but it was rathe quick once she got the hang of it.

Henry had totally zoned out almost as he sat on the lounger, her footsteps had been that quiet. His eyes opened to notice her hanging out the clothes, roaming over her whole body fully. Why were these thoughts surfacing as he remembered that catalog he had read only two days prior to her arrival. Shaking his head he sighed and returned the equipment to the shed, walking past her whistling softly.

Samantha looked at her brother pass by and smiled. "Henry, giving me a hand with this blanket, I can't reach." She explained as she had tried placing one end over the string but as she would place the other the previous side would fall to the floor and she wanted to avoid that. There was an innocent smile on her face as she asked for his help.

Henry heard her words and stopped, walking back he took the blanket and threw it over the line clipping it in place with the pegs. Smiling into her eyes he spoke. "You don't have to do this you know."

She looked at her brother and pouted. "So you rather I live all the house work for you to do? You knw I am not doing anything and I am not much help with paying any bills so I have to help you somehow." She told him quietly as he had been able to easily clip the blanket so it would dry in the sun. "If you want me to do something please do tell me." She mentioned grinning.

Henry had half been teasing her, his eyes sparkled for a few minutes as he reached for her sides and tickled her. Grinning he spoke. "Of course you can do it."

She first try to hold in her laughter and make it seem as if she could stand some tickling but it was quickly leanred that she couldn't. She laughed hard trying to get away from him. She was laughing loudly as if it was the most normal thing to do. Her hands try to push him playfully away before she tripped on her own feet and fell to the floor only to laugh more.

Henry heard the laughter, smiling until she tripped and fell. His hands scooping her up and setting her back down on her feet on the small porch. Moving to the large bench he spoke. "You can go for a swim if you want. I should hit the books for a little while."
