Frowned Upon: brother x sister (NightStalker73au & Asterisk)

Henry heard her questioning words just as the large double sliding glass doors opened, his eyes already glancing towards some of the various shops. "Sammy you can do some shopping, I should check out some more music."

Sam looked up at her brother and smiled to him. "It is alright, I'll go with you. I have everything I need. It isn't like I need any more clothes." She told him with a smile. Different from other girls Sammy only shopped when she had to. Shopping wasn't in her favorite things to do especially if she had to shop for clothes. "I wouldn't mind looking at music." She mentioned with a smile. Sam knew she never told Henry she didn't like shopping.

Henry was even more intrigued now, every girl that he had dated loved shopping. Shrugging it off he walked towards the music store and entered, stopping at the new releases only before heading towards the back of the store and the rooms there. Not many knew it but if you wanted an old piece or even comics this was the best store in this part of the country to get it.

Sammy wasn't a normal girl well she considered herself not a normal one. Because she was a bit shorter then most and because she was a bit shy for shopping she avoided it whenever she didn't need it. Most of her friends at school were the shopping kind of girls with blonde hair and guys drooling over them but she tried to be different. "I didn't know there was this room here." She mentioned following her brother around. The girl just looked at some of the old titles and some of the comics around the room. Even though she didn't know many of them it still fired her curiosity.

Henry knew that even if he had told her she would have still followed him into the back room, his selections made quickly as he glanced over some more. Chuckling softly. "Yes a secret place for us that like it old. Want to see a movie, your choice?"

Sammy smiled to him and nodded. "If you want to we can go see a movie! That is if I won't get you late for your practice. And the movie can't be anything horrific. You know I am afraid of horror movies." She told smiling. Sam was just trying to have some fun, she wouldn't mind doing anything if they were both having fun. Gently she leaned on her from as she saw some of the titles of the musics he was going through. She didn't recognize much, but then again she didn't even recognize the things her friends listened to.

Henry listened to her words and felt her body lean against his, the slightest hint of her perfume pervaded his nostrils. Shrugging that off he chuckled softly as he led them out to the main part of the store. Approaching the counter he paid for his music and glanced at his watch. "I still have a good 5 hours to kill."

Sam looked at him and nodded as he said he had five hours to kill. "Then that means we have time. Is there anything else you want or need to do or movie it is?" She asked smiling at him once he had bought the musics he had come from. At least she got to see abit of his taste in music. She had no clue what he liked anymore.

Henry's taste in so many things had changed over the last couple of years, music partly as he heard her words. His feet already leading the way towards the cinema as he spoke. "Nothing else, just a movie with you before I go out then come home late tonight."

The girl puffed her cheeks playfully. "You mean you are going to leave me alone during the night to fend for myself? What a brother." She told him playfully as she followed him. Samantha didn't mind staying alone for a couple of hours, she had left him alone the other night so it was fine. "Do you want me to leave your dinner ready? Or should it be over cooked and angry?" She asked still joking around as she followed.

Henry chuckled at her teasing words, a smile firmly planted on his face as he approached the small counter. Turning back to face her he spoke. "No meal for me tonight, will get something with the boys now pick your movie choice."

The girl smiled as he told her there was no need for her to prepare him his dinner now she just had to think for something for herself. That would take a while since she was a terrible cook or so she considered herself. "I'll go with the comedy movie!" She announced smiling. She knew her brother might like something with suspense, action or even a bit of horror but well comedy everyone liked once in a while and it would keep her from choosing a drama or a romance that maybe Henry wouldn't like to watch.

Henry smiled at her choice, buying two tickets to it along with some popcorn. Offering her the popcorn he found them both seats towards the back of the theater, settling himself in he spoke softly. "You don't have to cook if you do not wish to, order in and I will leave you the money."

Sam smiled as they entered the movies and she followed him to the back of the theatre. Being slightly far away the girl had to open her purse placing her glasses on. "I am sorry but I'll have to look like a dork for a while." She mentioned stealing some popcorn. She hated having to wear glasses but she detested having to put anything on her eyes like contact lenses. "But I should cook, that way I can get better and help you on that duty." She old him smiling. She didn't mind the small extra work, she was pretty glad he wouldn't mind tasting her cooking.

Henry smiled at her words, taking a small handful of the popcorn setting it down between them as he watched the opening credits. His eyes glanced towards her a few times as he recalled one of his previous girlfriends wearing glasses, nothing to worry about he mused before speaking. "Then maybe make some extra and I will have it over the weekend."

She watched the openning but looked at her brother as he mentioned he could have some over the weekend. "Silly there is no need to. I'll cook more during the weekend if you want it." She mentioned getting a popcorn at a time instead of taking a handful. Sam didn't like popcorn to much but she agreed that when watching a movie it was the best food to accompany. At the same time she didn't like it, she did like popcorn and even more so now that she got to share it with her brother.

Henry laughed softly at her words, his own fears not needed as they seemed to be bonding better now at least than they did before. His eyes concentrating on the movie for the next hour but partly distracted by practice later. Moving only slightly in his seat he took some more popcorn and glanced across at her.

She watched the movie quietly although sometimes she would try to hide her laughter thinking it was too loud for a session at the movies. She didn't want anyone staring and so she held back her laughter. Sam couldn't help it, she was paying quite a lot of attention to the movie sometimes missing the popcorn back and taking her brother's hand instead only to apologize and quickly take a popcorn.

Henry could tell she was enjoying the movie, he could not get into it. His coach had made him slightly angry at last training session, the words still ringing in his ears even now as he sat there. Soon enough the movie finished as he glanced at his watch. With a smile he spoke. "Ready to go home or want to do something else"

Sam turned to Henry when the movie was over and gave him a smile waiting for the other people to leave the theatre first. That way they avoid getting seperated or lost. "Are you alright? Did I chose the wrong movie? Would you have rather seen something else?" She asked him noticing he hadn't been completely enjoying himself and wondering why. Samantha only wanted to help if she could. Her short form stood up and she took his hand. "If you would like we can go home unless there is anything you would like to do? Maybe would you like a snack before you head off to your practice?" She asked just trying to be helpful.

Henry listened to all of her words, standing and giving her hand a light squeeze before letting it go. Moving from the theater he smiled into her eyes and spoke. "Nothing wrong just nerves before practice as always. Something to eat might be good."

The girl smiled towards him before following him out the theatre. "Alright, would you like something from the mall or would you rather want me to prepare you a small snack? I am very good at smashing bananas up with cinnamon, I used to eat it with sugar too." She mentioned before follwoing beside him, sometimes falling back to look at something but quickly returning to catch up. "Is there anything I can do to help you with nerves?" She asked quietly as if it would be his secret.

Henry heard her words as they walked further towards the entrance of the mall, his eyes scanning various shops settling on one as he moved closer. Stopping just in front of it he spoke. "No need to cook, order us a hot dog and drink to go with."

Samantha smiled and nodded her head towards her brother. "I thought that with your training you would have rather gone healthy." She told him smiling a little. "So we go home then and we'll order from there since I figure you still have time before your practice." She told him quietly. It was good to see they were getting along but it worried her a little bit. Was she going to become a pain to be around with? She hoped that living together wouldn't make him tired of her or her tired of him like she had seen happening with her friends, maybe not specifically with their brothers but similar situations.

Henry chuckled softly at her words and guided them out of the mall complex, his eyes meeting hers as he spoke. "Yes should eat healthier. I am glad you are staying here."
