Scott and Jessica had a great time on their honeymoon. They tasted many great foods, saw many wondrous sights, and enjoyed each other's company to the fullest. After the two weeks were up, they returned to Valor Investigations in New York City to resume working. That Saturday, they decided to take a leisurely drive in a rural area far outside the city, just taking the time to enjoy nature. As they were driving down a dirt road, however, some fool in a red sports car suddenly flew past them at over one hundred miles per hour, nearly running them off the road.
"That idiot's going to kill someone," Scott said with no small amount of anger while he tightly gripped the steering wheel.
Unfortunately, Scott's words proved eerily prophetic. Just up ahead was a bridge spanning a river, and a sedan was coming across the other side. Swerving to avoid the dangerous driver, they ended up with half of their car teetering over the river. Immediately sizing up the danger, Scott stopped and turned to Jessica.
"I'm going to go and catch that guy in the sports car. You try to get those people out before that car plunges into the river."
After Jessica was out of the car, Scott sped off after them. With the accelerator mashed to the floor, he was quickly gaining on them. Scott was thankful that because this was such a rural area, there was not much traffic on these roads. He continued to give chase, trying to get close enough to the car to do a pit maneuver, which was where one car taps the back bumper to make the other car spin out of control. However, the sports car stayed just ahead and showed no intention of slowing down. Scott knew that he had to stop this maniac before he reached a more populated area, otherwise the results could be catastrophic.
