Book 1 - The First Shard - P L O T
  • Left in ruins, the world of Marosia tries to survive under the King of Darkness' reign. The people wonders where the noble knights have gone, and while some blame them, some would open their homes for their protection. While the knights trek on the journey to where the first shard is said to have been sent (to the West, through the mazes and towards the Elves), it is rumored that the Treacherous Knight has been sent on a hunt for that shard as well. How many times will their paths cross roads? What dangers lie in the path towards the Western kingdom, and who will achieve the first known shard?[/list:u]

    * I know we're still working on some profiles and some openings are still available. However, this is to get the ball roll. The 2 posts per week requirement will start the coming Monday, 12th of October.
 
  • Looks like my ever so lovely experience with insomnia has come to a head now.
    I've been able to sleep for the past few days. Rather well at that. Very happy. . .

    Anyway, spending some time now coming up with some more idea's for the plot
    here and finding images for settings and whatnot. Got some interesting stuff
    going through the noggin at the moment, just trying to sort everything out
    and itemize it all so I can separate which idea goes with which story. <<

    Also, I'm not sure if this has been said but I do believe that Kitten is
    awaiting a post from Vali before she posts since Brand did address Tsu
    in the last post. She doesn't want to preempt any movement of his character.[/list:u]

I like ideas. I have been stagnating a little myself, been thinking of other things.

I should probably start Malak off eventually, give me some more to do.
 
I'm still here though I have nobody to respond to. I could always do an introspective post I suppose :3 or have Altima slip into her habit of singing when she's bored or something

Yeah... Valen isn't much for small talk, it would actually be kind of silly for him. At least the really unimportant stuff, he would rather puff on his pipe, though that isn't an option at the moment.

I guess he could answer her question, reply to her statement, though it would be a a short post.
Again, starting the Bad guys would just give me something to do.

  • This whole thing is being done because budget cuts need to be made. But they're destroying the
    future of our generation and those who come after us because of this. I know a lot of people who
    aren't going to be graduating on time because of things that have already been done. And I know
    people who won't be able to continue what they've almost finished because of what is going to
    be done. Every freaking single state run university is getting rid of their nursing and business courses.

    But education is important. We need to go to school so we can get good jobs and have good futures.
    Right? Wait. . .why are you making it so we can't go to school? Why not cut some of these useless
    programs instead of killing off all of the nurses and businessmen in the future?
    Wait, you don't want to raise taxes on things like cigarettes and tobacco? Those are more important than
    school? Making a living? You know. . .everything you've told me is important since I could understand what
    you were saying?
    Great. So I've wasted how much of my life? I should have become an alcoholic at five, started smoking at
    six, and died by ten if that's the case.

    I would say I'm shocked and appalled that such bullshit is happening, but then again, this is America.
    People have gotten away with much worse and still haven't be called on it.[/list:u]

Bad guys slowly coming into the picture, so we can start building their inRP characteristics.
Just had a random scene pop in my mind while writing, so that's how Gandrian's introduced -fails- 'orz

    I mean to post earlier, but I got wrapped up in working on a new piece.
    It's turning out sweet so far, but I still suck at working with color. Which
    is a part of the reason I'm working with it now. <<[/list:u]

So. . . I went crazy I ended up having a small scene in my mind about something based off of our RP, and decided to jolt it down.
It's posted ~Here~, so if you guys wanted to read it, tell me what you think? <3
Forewarning, it required me to write as all the characters involved, so it probably isn't how you guys pictured your characters to be. It was just out of random and how I saw them interact in the little scene I pictured.

    Kitten did an excellent job. This will provide some back story for the characters/what's happening now,
    and gives us all a bit more of an idea of how things were before, the days the knights miss.
    There may or may not be other things like this coming up in the future. We shall see~[/list:u]

Now I want to write some stuff, get some history or mythology (especially mythology) of our Malrosia in.
