She smiled, "I did. You should have seen them last night when we rode to my home in the carriage." She held a light smirk upon her face as they watched, glancing behind her a moment to see that Christan had been a gentleman and taken the still blushing Rebeca's arm as they followed. "It's why I did it. She needs someone like him in her life, just like I need someone like you in mine." She gave him a little peck upon his chin as they walked along.
Soon they were in the dining room and the servants were only just then starting to get the idea of what had just happened... seeing Aiden and Crista arm in arm, she in a wedding dress. Some smiled while others didn't quite know how to react knowing full well that this was not the way things were USUALLY done. But who could tell the king he was wrong?
The group all took their places at the table to partake of the celebration meal. This time, there was no doubt that Crista's proper place was beside her husband at the head of the table.
