What game are you playing now?

Currently having a friend stream Danganronpa 3 for me. We finished 2 a few weeks ago so I'm really stoked to continue since we're taking a break after the first chapter.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous just came out, so I expect to dump a ton of time in to it.

UnderHero and a bit of Subnautica

though long breaks because I'm terrified of being that deep in an ocean

Ran a session of Halo 3: ODST's Firefight Classic tonight after... Some rather unpleasant business came up. And I had fun laughing like a goof at the amount of carnage a buddy of mine and I did.

Downloading Metro Exodus again to play the DLC that went on sale today.

I could grab the entire Bioshock series on sale for the next ten days but I wasn't impressed with the first game whatsoever.

How is it? I'm still winding my way through Wrath of the Righteous, but a game that isn't kicking my ass 24/7 might be appreciated.
I have very few gripes with it honestly. The cast of characters is fun and work well with each-other, the story is engaging, the graphics are stunning and the fights are really exciting and never feel stale at all allowing you to switch between characters easily for fun and bad-ass combos. Compared to a lot of JRPG's at least-- I think this one really sets a new precedent. If you liked the Tales of Series before this I think you'll love it, but even if you're new to the series it's just... really damn good and I highly recommend.

Super tempting, especially since Total warhammer 3 just got delayed so that opens up some fun money. I'm very tempted by it though the only Tales Of I played was Bersaria.

I was supposed to have my copy Friday but GameStop screwed up and here it is Monday still without it.
I admit, I've only ever had one good experience preordering from gamestop. I have no idea how they've stayed in business so long.

Right! Before they came along there was a Rhino Games. I never had a problem with them. You could do trade ins that's worth more than what GameStop gives you.

I just download games these days, no risk of delays and no risk of losing the game.
I understand. I just like my physical copies too.

Gamestop tradeins are bullshit.
"Well this game released 2 weeks ago but you opened it up so I think I can give you a rusty nail and a dried chunk of salami for it'.
I miss when there were multiple gamestores to choose from (At least in the US). Gamestop. EBgames, KBtoys...

Don't get me started on the system trade ins. You pay $299+ for a switch and get, last time I checked, $100. Me too. I know next time I'm just going to get what I want elsewhere.

The only positive experience I had from gamestop was when I had preordered the Fire emblem fates collectors edition months before it came out. Learned that gamestop had to cancel a ton of preorder copies because they took too many in. Got a call from the local GS where I preordered from saying my copy was successfully ordered. Every other time I've needed something from GS it has been a disaster on some fashion.

I remember doing trade ins back in the mid 2000’s… the value was so much better. Games lose their value quickly now, and GameStop is not a great place to do your business. I worked there, we told people we didn’t have a new release because we wanted to keep a couple for our families and friends. We lied to customers all the freakin time, and snuck warranties on games that didn’t need them. If you didn’t do that, you were a piece of shit and the managers were going to tell you. If for whatever reason your store came in second that week, it was your fault for not pushing the pro rewards on that old woman who knows nothing about video fames and would have paid 15 extra dollars to get her grandkid the latest lego game. Horrible place, horrible ethics, and the stores were filthy. Lots of HR issues too with the staff and managers.

Yeah every time I hear about a former gamestop worker's experience the place sounds like a total shitpit. Not unexpected, but still - it'd be nice if a company could treat their employees with a smidge of respect.

Finished the entire Bioshock series and gotta say, just not a fan. Infinite was the best of the three as far as gunplay but the ending just dropped the ball. Couldn't even play Burial At Sea because it bummed me out so hard.

1 and 2 are straight repetitive but at least 2 had a better story. Wouldn't recommend the series though, but they're getting close. A sequel with Infinite's gunplay and a story as good as 2 and I'd probably take a look.

Metro > Bioshock

Trying Octopath Traveler for the third time, and if I can make it through between FFXIV play, I'll then probably move to giving DQ11 another go.

I like OT, but it's easy for me to put down and forget to pick up again.
DQ11 I loved (not as much as 8 but Yangus is love, Yangus is life) but I got distracted at the end of the second arc and I'd like to start fresh.

Friend recommended Where the Water Tastes Like Wine and it looks amazing. Also want to pick up Weird West (thank God for companies that don't flood the market with more medieval fantasy same-shit-different-nothing or sci-fi), and Skyward Sword HD because I need a good Zelda game on the Switch (BOtW was painful).

Playing Tales of Arise currently. I've been a fan of the series since Vesperia, but Arise is really pushing the series forward in a lot of ways and I'm loving it. I never bothered finishing Berseria due to the boring combat system that was way too passive, but that of Arise is very active and fun.

I am currently playing the game right now Osu! because amazing game to play. It is all around an amazing game, and when I had a question, customer service was super quick, probably some of the quickest I have seen. I like rhythm games, but Osu! takes it to a whole new level. Would definitely recommend (mafham mix skins) it to anybody, no matter their age or skill level.
