What game are you playing now?

Saints Row 2 is amazing to finally pick up for cheap years later without my parents potentially getting grumpy with me! It’s hilarious to run over people while naked and driving a taxi.

I really gotta get around to picking up Hades, although I'm probably not gonna really get into it until it's "done". I love all of Supergiant's work tho, so that's gonna be nice.

Also words cannot express how hyped I am for ULTRAKILL. I have nine hours logged in the fucking demo, getting perfect marks, secrets, and challenges in the prelude levels. The dev (Hakita) has YT vids of him playing the levels in chapter 2 and I'm so torn between avoiding spoilers and getting my my fix of that Devil May Quake action.
Not to sound too much like a shill, but the game is about 90-95% done apparently, the next major Hades patch will be the 1.0 patch and it will leave early access. The game certainly feels complete.

Currently having a blast getting to play Monster Hunter Gen U (even if I have to redo everything I did on the 3ds Gen) and so far, Brave style Dual Blades is my fetish.

Starbound, stardew valley and Overwatch are being played a lot recently. FFXIV is always being played but we are putting a pause on our main raid group for a while to focus on just helping our Free Company learn the tier of savage fights since nobody in our group cares about the loot anymore until new content is released. Have been thinking I may start on my backlog recently, Two point hospital, maybe jump back into DbD or For Honor, Valkyria Chronicles replay or just finally buy Death Stranding which I put off for unknown reasons. Oh, I should play Hitman 2 as well.

God damn, you don't play new games for a while and they really build up. There are a lot more I want to go through too.

niceeee!

I'm not really in a rush to play it rn since I've got a ton of other games on my plate. I picked up that itch.io racial equality bundle they were doing and rn I am loving Night In The Woods and The Land Of Glass, on top of my regular Warframe habit and occasional returns to ULTRAKILL. Still super hype tho; hopefully Hades and ULTRAKILL don't come out at the same time >_>

EDIT: And you're totally allowed to shill Supergiant Games lol; they do great shit

I need ULTRAKILL on my Xbox yesterday. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on it.

Just discovered a game that came out a couple years ago call Fell Seal. It's a tactical rpg with a job system, so of course it's my jam, and it's extremely reminiscent of Final Fantasy Tactics in the best possible way, building on everything that made that game amazing. Still getting a feel for the story, but so far it's political machinations and investigating corrupt power systems, so it's promising. I am playing it on PS4, but it's on steam too.

So I finished Night In The Woods, and man that is a game.

It's one of the few games that actually feels like a novel, also one of the few coming-of-age-stories I've seen in a game. It's one of those few titles that will make you laugh, make you cry, and make you think, and to wrap it up it's all shockingly gorgeous on every level.

A few mobile games: Bleach Brave Souls and King of Fighters Allstar.
Also playing a lot of Animal Crossing and Smash Bros.

Really getting back into Call of Duty Modern Warfare, Halo 5, and Streets of Rage 4, while also getting hooked on CrossCode and The Messenger. Thanks, Game Pass Ultimate!

^ Game Pass is a really good service for value ^

Speaking of Game Pass I am playing Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, and still working on some Wii U games. Wonderful 101 is somehow tough for me.

I’m subscribed until June 2023 and have another nine months of codes on hand! I’ll still buy many of the big Microsoft games at launch, especially Halo Infinite on disc with my Series X, because the only other time I picked up a console at launch with games was the Nintendo Switch and the Xbox Series X is already looking way better with Cyberpunk 2077, Halo Infinite, and Yakuza Like a Dragon plus all my Xbox One compatible games. And that’s just what we know of so far.

Plus I’ll be able to have a Halo System Link party like the old days with friends at launch- me on Game Pass on the Series X and my friend on a second TV with my old fat Xbox One that I gave him and the Halo Infinite disc. Still that kind of defeats a lot of the point lol. But Game Pass is still fantastic for helping me discover more quirky indie games I’d otherwise take a pass on. I’m weird like that with streaming TV too- I still haven’t watched Game of Thrones but am currently enjoying Trigonometry on HBO Max.

Anyway, speaking of quirky indies, I’m enjoying the hell out of Superliminal. It’s not on Game Pass but it’s a well priced indie challenge room game in the vein of Portal where you solve puzzles by changing your perspective of objects to change their size. I’ll let this trailer explain better than I can.

Saints Row 2.
That was a solid game. Before Saints Row got too crazy.

Thinking of jumping into Danganronpa (sorry if I misspelled it). It comes highly recommended from a few friends who are envious that I have "never played them before." Comments like that intrigue me. And being that the third game was released in 2017 and is still full retail says something about it's following and marketing.

Agreed. I heard they were making a fifth game. Hopefully they recapture all of what made 2 so great in it.

I've heard of Danganronpa before but I haven't played any of them myself. Good luck with it.

It's kind of a murder mystery in a high school prison place from what I understand. I dunno. Ghost of Tsushima is coming out on Friday, maybe I should hold off on Danganronpa.

Maybe I'll give it a go too later on.
A couple of my friends are looking forward to GoT, I will probably skip it or catch it on Gamefly. I'm really looking forward to Trails of Cold Steel IV: End of Saga in October. Already preordered it. After Saints Row 2, I want to try Death Stranding.

Failing miserably at finishing The Last of Us Part 2 before Ghost of Tsushima comes out. The backlog is real my friends.

Desperately trying to actually finish some games, currently working through Control & The Outer Worlds after beating The Last of Us Part Two... for the second time.

And I'm feeling the call to dive back into Oblivion or Skyrim, which is why I never actually finish any other games.

Playing Persona 5 royal at the moment and while the game is still fun, it's so sloooooooooooooooow to start that I almost dropped it despite knowing it gets better. I'm finally able to explore Kamoshida's palace in full now though so that's good.
Also trying to do an Eltharion campaign in Total warhammer 2.

Playing some Crusader Kings 2, trying to make the whole world accept the glorious Romuva religion and stuff.
