Serenity snuggled into Bruce's embrace with a smile. "I love you too, dark knight." She murmured as she laid her head against his chest and soon fell asleep.

Jason was waiting on the bed when she got back to the bedroom, all his gear back on except for his helmet. He narrowed his eyes at Krystal. "There was plenty of time for that after I finished what I came to do, you know that. You also know that if not for your iron grip, I would've been gone before you even woke up. Just as you know I wouldn't even have spent the night if you hadn't fainted. You want to get pissed at someone for us caring more about your health than about stolen quality time, then be pissed at me. If not for the fact I'm supposed to be dead, I would've called Ami myself last night after we got you home." He sighed and ran his hand through his hair. "We would've both been kicking ourselves all day if we'd waited any longer to call. And then the fact that Dickie-bird would've had to face Sere's wrath over not getting you care asap all alone. Would you have wanted that?"
 
Bruce smiled and kissed her head, chuckling softly to himself. She had no idea how ironic her nickname was now that he was Batman.

Krystal sighed and sat next to him on the bed. "I'm not really mad at either of you. I just hate this whole situation. Makes me wish I'd never found you. But on the same level, I'm glad. Its tough thinking on of the men I love is dead." She said, giving him a hug and kissing his cheek. I know you're only looking out for me, and no, I wouldn't." She said, leaning on him slightly. "I made your favorite. I'll make you a to go. I'm sorry jay-bird. I.. I just wanted some time. It was selfish." She whispered, pulling him closer. She wished that this could all be done and he could always be with them.
 
Serenity slept undisturbed the remainder of the night. Though whether it was because she had already had the recurring nightmare or because she slept in her love's arms once more, she wouldn't be able to say if asked.

Jason hugged her tight. "I know. But it's just a little longer. I want to finish things for our sake. Especially now with a chance of you being pregnant." He kissed her forehead, her nose and her lips.
 
Krystal sighed. "This is so excruciating. I want you with me, iubesc." She said softly, smiling a little as he kissed her, deepening it. She loved him so so much, but she couldn't have him yet, all because of one piece of shit clown. "I know, Jaybird. I just wish it would be faster. Living without you is like being stabbed with a rusty knife." She whispered, cuddling into him as she cried, hormones and pain unbearable.

Alfred came in and opened the curtains, smiling lightly. "Good morning, master Bruce" the familiar British accent chirped, only smiling wider when he sees Sere cuddled up with him.
 
"Best way to get him is for him to be off guard and not expecting me." Jason sighed. "In the meantime, even if you're not pregnant, you're taking time off from patrolling."

In response to the light from the curtains, Serenity whimpered. "Five more minutes Mom..." She murmured and attempted to hide her face in Bruce's chest.
 
Krystal sighed and cuddled him close. "I hope it will be soon, jaybird. I need you." She said just above a whisper, cuddling close. She hated to be without him. "I won't patrol unless its absolutely necessary. I promise. Te iubesc, inima mea. Always and forever." She added, sniffling.

Alfred chuckled. "Miss serenity, I do believe you may sleep in. Master Bruce however, has a meeting with mr Kaaba in an hour." He admitted as Bruce got up, kissing her softly and jumping in the shower, getting ready for the day with a groan.
 
Jason cuddled her back. "Just be patient Bluebird. Now go on and fix me that to go plate while there's still a chance for me to leave without Haruka seeing me."

Serenity chuckled in response. "Been a while since I could actually sleep in. I do believe I'll take that offer Alfred. And to go with that, I give you full permission to answer my cell phone and take messages on my behalf. Though if Mamoru calls, don't answer. If he sneaks through with an unsaved number, hang up."
 
Krystal sighed and gave him a passionate and loving kiss. "Okay, jaybird. Te iubesc." She said softly, getting up, making him a to go order, and bringing it to here. "Here iubesc. Please, don't be a stranger, and you know you can always just hide in the shadows." She said with a grin, kissing him again. She really didn't want to be without him, but knew this is how it had to be.

Alfred chuckled. "Of course miss serenity. I will make sure that he does not call." He said as bruce came out of the bathroom, fully changed. "Sere, I'll be back in a couple of hours. Sleep well, I love you." He said, handing her a plush of batman and kissing her lovingly.
 
Jason chuckled. "If it was just Sere, then maybe I'd try that. But you've got Haruka and Ami coming. Not risking that. Take care Bluebird. Kiss Dickie-bird for me." He put his helmet on, took the food and popped away.

"You're the best Alfred." Serenity smiled softly before kissing Bruce. "Okay my love. Have a good meeting. Tell Seth I said hello, if he has his memories back that is." She snuggled with the plush of batman and went on back to sleep.
 
Krystal smiled, though there was a sadness to it. "I know, angel. Just know that I love you." She said softly before she nodded. "Of course. See you sometime soon I hope." She added, watching as he put his helmet on and the left. She curled up in a ball on the bed, shedding a few silent tears before she whipped her eyes. "Dick?" She asked, wondering where he had gone to, worrying she'd hurt him.

Alfred smiled. "I am glad to be of help, miss serenity." He said before he left the room. Bruce smiled, Kissing her back. "The meeting will be fine. I will. I promised Krys I'd tell him she said hi too. I guess they've been friends since she was 14 in this life." He admitted, kissing her head before watching her fall asleep again. When he was sure she was asleep, he exited, leaving a love note on her pillow.
 
"In the kitchen Krys. And no you didn't hurt me, I'm not the least bit jealous." He replied automatically as if he knew her thoughts that well. "Honestly, if I wasn't comfortable sharing you, I wouldn't have done it through two lifetimes, let alone one."

Serenity continued to sleep, snuggled with the batman plush. Not long after Bruce was gone, her cell phone rang.
 
Krystal smiled, coming into the kitchen and giving him a loving kiss, wrapping her fingers with his. "Sorry about earlier. Its just... this is hard, Dickie bird, very hard. I want us to be complete again." She said, snuggling close to him, hoping that someday soon they'd all be together.


Alfred picked of the phone. "Hello, Miss Serenity's phone. May I ask who's calling?" he asked, the fact that it wasn't Sere on the other end apparent.
 
"So do I. But he wants to finish it and make things safe." He kissed her. "Now eat something. You need it."

When Alfred answered the phone, the person on the other end sighed. "This is Detective Takahashi, with the Tokyo police. I'm afraid I have some terrible news for Miss Tsukino. But if she's busy, can I leave a message?"
 
Krystal smiled a little. "I know, dick. i know. doesn't make it any easier." she said, kissing him back. 'i will, love.' she added, eating some of jason's favorite foods and sniffling. this was very hard for her.

Alfred gasped. 'Oh, of course! what happened, officer?' he asked, worry in his features. He could sense this was bad, very bad.
 
Dick smiled softly. "Ami and Haruka should be here soon."

The detective sighed. "I regretfully must say that Miss Tsukino's parents and younger brother were found murdered this morning."
 
Krystal smiled. "I know. It'll be okay." She said, though she sensed great pain coming.

Alfred gasped again. "Oh my! Is there anything found with the bodies? Like a murder weapon?" He asked, knowing full well he would have to call Bruce immediately.

When he was off the phone with the detective, he called Bruce on the emergency phone. "Master Bruce. I have regrettable news. I have just received a call from Tokyo police. Miss Serenity's parents and younger brother were murdered last night. I am unsure how to break the news." He explained, and Bruce's fist balled up. "Do not worry Alfred. I will tell her, but please. Get the bat suit ready. Serenity and I are going to Tokyo" he said, growling.

Alfred nodded. "As you wish sir. Please come home soon." He said before hanging up.
 
Dick nodded. "Of course." He then headed to the door after hearing a knock, knowing it was Ami and Haruka.

"Yes there was. In both the rooms they were found in, there were blades that seemed to be fashioned from Roses. An odd thing indeed. Do give Miss Tsukino my condolences."
 
Krystal nodded and ate silently, feeling so so torn. She needed both her loves, but one had unfinished business.

"Blades made from roses? How curious. I will make sure to tell her." He said before hung up, calling Bruce with the news. It was obvious now who had killed her family.

Bruce returned home, sitting on the bed next to Sere, moving hair out of her face. "Sere, wake up moon bunny. I have to tell you something." He said softly, looking very distressed. This would be very hard for her.
 
Dick smiled and led Ami and Haruka back to the kitchen.

Ami tutted. "Now Krys, what's this I hear about you being sick?"

Serenity stirred from feeling Bruce's touch. "Hmm?" She sat up and noted his expression. "Is Krys okay? Dick? Hotaru? What's wrong? What happened?"
 
Krystal sighed. "I think I might be pregnant, Ami." She said, sipping her tea.

Bruce looked at her. "They're all fine, moon bunny.. but... your family in japan? They were murdered with roses." He explained, taking her hand, unsure of what he should do next.
 
"That much I already know. But considering you passed out, I'm assuming you haven't been taking care of yourself again." Ami eyed her before pulling a couple of pregnancy tests from her bag and holding them out to Krystal. "Go on. You know what to do with these."

Serenity gasped at the news of her family being murdered, letting out a choked sob as tears streamed down her face. "You said they were killed with roses?"
 
Krystal chuckled and took the tests. "Yes I do, and it wasn't that. I've been under a lot of stress the last couple days. It being so close to Jason's birthday, after all." She explained, and that really was the case. Dick was the most subborn man she'd ever met, and he made sure she took care of herself. It was almost comical, really. In normal circumstance, it would be reversed.

Bruce held her tight, just letting her cry. "Yes, moon bunny. Roses. Why do you ask?" He looked at her, his love and concern apparent.
 
Ami shook her head. "Go take those tests."

Serenity swore in Lunarian. "There's only one person who can make weapons out of roses; that stupid Endymion. Cocky bastard probably left the weapons knowing I would know it was him. Well, he's royally fucked up now. And he'll have to answer to me." Her anger at Endymion and her grief of losing her second family both clear in her eyes.
 
Krystal nodded, and went to the bathroom, taking all the tests and doing them, coming out about 20 minutes later. She had one in hand as she looked to dick, a sadness there, only he would understand. It was because even though she knew jason was alive, she had always wanted to share this moment with him too. "Dick..." she whispered, walking over to him, her face showing unsure emotions as cuddled up to him, showing him the test. It was positive.

Bruce looked as if she wanted to kill something, or rather.. some one. "Shall we go see your sister and then go kill him in the most gruesome way we can think of? Bastard deserves it as much as Joker does." He admitted, sighing. He hated killing, but he would make an exception for this putz.
 
Dick let her hide her face in his chest, holding her close. He knew Ami was likely to misread Krystal's emotions and he didn't want to risk that. "Later." He whispered."he's doing this for you, me and our unborn child." He told her telepathically. "Now try and put some happiness on your face before you pull away or else you'll give Ami the wrong impression

Ami heard Kry but hadn't seen her face. "What's the result, Krys?" She called out.

Serenity sighed. "Part of me doesn't want to tell her, like it senses something good around her and doesn't want to ruin that. But I know she needs to know too." She sighed. "How high a chance do you think I have of convincing her to stay and scout for a new location here in Gotham for my business?"
