The Majestic Tale of a Box and a Uniform (Starring Froggy and Nexs)

Any sort of civility dissolved at the question, Nevada burning up from the inside out because of it. Really? Satsuki is trying -badly- to deny that she had anything to do with Mother’s kidnapping, with the ransacking of my house?! Why am I not surprised? Head bent, Nevada ground her teeth together...struggling not to jump across the room, and hold her swords against the infuriating President’s throat, demanding answers. It wouldn’t do any good…most likely. At least H.G. was agreeing with her...and was on her side. Her fingers curled over the dual blades’ hilts...while shadows played along her face, hiding her expression from view. I have to calm down...or else, I’m not going to find out anything about Mother…

Once Nevada drew in a deep breath, she lifted her head and watched H.G. stop in front of a bowl of fruit, shifting through the various pieces of fruit before settling on an apple. It looked tasty, but mostly because she hasn’t eaten anything since...damn, when was the last time she ate? I can’t remember… A little disturbed by this, she tuned out of the conversation for just a moment, trying to remember. Blinking, she rubbed her growling stomach, and when no one was paying any attention to her...stole a nice, big...juicy apple. Her teeth tore into its meaty part right when H.G. took a large bite of hers...the two sounds merging into one, and echoing about the room.

Delicious… Chewing, Nevada swallowed the bite after making sure it was in small little bits, and returned to the conversation at hand. Hmph, figures that Satsuki knows about H.G…. yet doesn’t know a thing about me. I guess I don’t really matter here… Frustration giving way to anger, she started to lean against the nearest wall...not caring in the slightest whether or not it was disrespectful. A few brown curls fell against her cheeks...hiding her expression from view.

Her dark brown eyes went down to the navy blue uniform she wore when he spoke up, only for the girl to shake her head. “No. Out of the question. Satsuki can know whatever the hell she wants about me...but there is no way in hell that I’m telling her anything about you. What right does she possibly have for knowing? So frickin’ what if she found out who H.G. was, huh? I don’t care. Besides...we don’t know much about you, ourselves…” This last part murmured, she lifted the apple to her lips...taking another bite. The gentle vibrations following Jikan’s chuckle sent a shiver up her spine...not to mention caused her to shiver.

An hour and a half dragged on by...H.G. filling the silence with useless information about herself. Nevada dozed off for about...oh, most of it, luckily...but she did jerk awake at the sudden outburst from the blonde. It was a relief, to be honest. Her lips curving up right at the corners, she studied her nails for a moment...before deciding that it’s about time she interjected...or contributed to the conversation, rather. “While I’m sure they’d love to hear more about your box… I really think it’s about time we get going. Class has started already… unless I’m not allowed to attend? Oh, and H.G. is still technically a teacher here… I’m sure that her class is waiting…”

During class, it’d provide the perfect opportunity for Jikan to recover...and maybe even learn something, the horror. Nevada knew one thing, though...she’d probably sleep through the entire period without listening to a single word...but it would be sooo worth it. Her lips resisting the urge to smile, she glanced over in H.G.’s direction before meeting Satsuki’s cold gaze.

“Now...don’t you think for a damn moment that I’m giving up without a fight, Satsuki Kiryuin,” Nevada growled, lifting one blade so that it was pointing straight at the young woman. “Far from it… I highly suggest you return Mother now, or else I’d have to slice up your face later on...but for now...I bid you farewell.” With a little wave, that hand still holding onto the sword, she turned to head back into the TARDIS.

"I agree I have a class to teach. Good day." H.G. said with a small mocking bow before turning to the TARDIS still open doors.

"Are you so willing to leave when I have an offer to make?" Satsuki asked as H.G. was just about to shut the doors to her box. "More specifically a chance to regain your mother..." Satsuki said a smirk beginning to form on her face as the door to the TARDIS opened back up with H.G. looking at the Student Council President. "Since you refuse to give up with a fight. Then a fight is all that it will take to get her back." Satsuki as Reya stepped forward. "In one week you will face this young woman Honnojui Academy's Operations Committee Chair Person. Three Star Student Reya Mui. If you win then you have my word, I will ensure to the fullest of my power your mother is returned to you safely without harm. If you lose the deal is off and I will offer no assistance in finding her." Satsuki said

"How do we know you won't go against us?" H.G. said raising a brow. "You certainly aren't the most trustworthy person." she said as Satsuki's smirk grew.

"You do not. You will have to take a leap of faith." she said before looking at Nevada specifically. "Your choice." Satsuki said "Deal or no?" she asked

Nevada glanced over her shoulder, having taken but a few steps into the TARDIS. In fact… the kitchen was beckoning, what with its plentiful culinary...well, not so much delicacies, but food. The apple earlier did nothing to satisfy her hunger...and she was planning on taking care of that, before heading to class.

Something that had no name flashed through her dark brown eyes. Her fingers tightening around the blades, Nevada listened quietly...and without saying a word, which is very uncharacteristic of the girl. Her eyes flicked to the blonde, who was earlier introduced -or rather, not really, but whose name was used-, before returning to Satsuki. There is no way of knowing whether or not she’s telling the truth...or won’t stab us in the back later… she thought, eyes narrowing slightly. It is a leap of faith, just as she says...not that that makes me feel any better about it. Hmph… “I accept your little deal...on one condition.” Nevada thrust her chin forward, for a moment looking very much like a regal queen, about to issue a law. “In one week, I will fight against this...Reya Mui. During that one week...I want no Two-Stars attacking either me or H.G…. nor do I want any underhanded methods to try and knock us down a few pegs. Am I understood?”

It was a smart move on Nevada’s part, or at least...she thought so. If other Two-Stars caught wind of the deal, there was a good chance that any one of them would attack, just to ‘make Satsuki proud’ or whatever. It also gives her a little time to train, maybe… to try and get stronger before the big fight.

“The ball is in your court, Satsuki Kiryuin… Make sure you don’t screw it up.” Nevada turned back around, slipping the two blades to the pouch slung across her back, and not paying any mind to whatever happens next. After all...she’s said her piece, there is no need to say anything more on the matter.

H.G. smiled with her arms crossed watching her student take control of the situation and list her conditions for the duel. It was a definitely good idea to state she didn't want any Two-Stars attacking either of them. Considering that Nevada defeated two club leaders already no doubt the others would want to prove themselves by trying to defeat her. Watching Nevada reenter her ship H.G. turned to enter as well.

"Very well....but if she loses....then every club under the Academy's banner will be coming after her...and you Time Lord." Satsuki stated matter of factly.

"Then pray Nevada does not lose." H.G. said with a smirk before turning and entering her box slamming the door shut before the wheezing noise was heard as it vanished into thin air.

Twenty minutes later the sounds of the classroom door opening up prompted H.G's class to quickly grow silent as the Professor entered along with Nevada. "Pardon us for our delay students....the Student President wished to see us after the little skirmish in the courtyard." H.G. said taking her duster coat off and setting it down on her desk before sitting on top of it. "That aside I do not want any questions asked about it.." She said firmly before picking up her student roster and began to take the roll.

Good thing I don't have to make any excuses as for why I'm late... Otherwise, I'd be sent straight to detention... Nevada stretched her arms high, both shoulders popping and sending a wave of bitter relief throughout that area. With a small groan, she made her way forward...several gazes focusing on the girl. A few tentative whispers arose, questions being asked to one another behind raised hands...which honestly, just pissed her off. Brown eyes narrowing...Nevada shot a glare at one particular group, both girls gasping and quickly looking away. Geez... I can see how today is going to be... she thought, only annoyed by the realization. Seriously, why couldn't people mind their own business? Her hands sliding into her jacket's pockets, she plopped down into her seat before directing her attention elsewhere.

H.G. removed her duster coat and set it down on her desk before sitting on top of it. "That aside, I do not want any questions asked about it," the woman said firmly, having obviously said something about the incident earlier...but what, exactly, Nevada had no idea. She wasn't paying any attention. Student roster in hand, she began calling out names to see which students were in attendance.

A gentle tap on the shoulder made Nevada look back, and meet a familiar brown gaze. "Don't...Don't worry, I'm not going to ask any questions about...what happened... I just wanted to make sure you're alright," Kendrick spoke up, a red blush painting his features within seconds. Nevada couldn't help but smile, tilting her head back...causing her brown curls to fall as well.

"I'm okay, thanks for asking," Nevada replied with that smile still in place. I can't say the same for Jikan, though... Worry tainting the touched feeling she was just experiencing...she ran a hand over her skirt, fingers playing with the pleats. "Oh, by the way... I don't know if I ever said thanks the other day, when you gave me that breakfast sandwich... but I must tell you, it was delicious. Did your mom make it?" came her question, those dark brown eyes meeting his. Kendrick found himself blushing again...his heart fluttering in his chest. "Ah, no... Mom can't even boil water..." he told her with a quiet laugh.

Nevada bit back a laugh herself. Kendrick could see the question already rising, and so decided to answer it before she could say it out loud. "Um... I... I made it," he replied, embarrassment coloring his tone. Nevada's eyes went wide. "You're a really good cook, then!" she told him, not judging the boy in the slightest. So what if he was good at cooking, or enjoyed doing it? Cooking doesn't have to be something only girls do... no matter how many people think such barbaric things.

"Well thank you for sharing that with the whole class Nevada." H.G. said out loud as she had just reached Nevada's name when the outburst occurred. "But if your going to talk in class I suggest a lower volume setting in the future." she said with a wink prompting several students to laugh.

While this was occurring Jikan could not help but chuckle quietly himself towards the situation. While his color scheme was still paler than it normally should be signs of the Time Robe's condition improving were present as his blue coloring was in fact slowly returning to normal. However hearing Kendrick's voice certainly did not make him feel any better as he was unconsciously tightening slightly around his wearer almost protectively. It was until Nevada started running her hand over his skirt section did he began to somewhat loosen up like a tightened muscle.

"Ok next....." H.G. said before the recently repaired door to the classroom was once again sent flying off of its hinges and sent flying into the other side of the room. "Oh bloody h*** not again!" the annoyed Time Lord said placing her roll book down and looking out towards the hall. "Oi! What do you want this time?!" She shouted wondering if Satsuki decided to go ahead and break off the deal.

"AHHH! I'm so sorry!!" a hyper active voice said as 17 year old girl entered the room in a blur and was immediately standing in front of H.G. "I'm so sorry!!!! I didn't mean to break the door." the girl said standing present wearing what looked like at first a regular no star sailor outfit but only hers had a large black coat that was draped over her shoulders a military style hat and a pair of brass knuckles on both hands.

"Ummm its ok...." H.G. said awkwardly looking down at the attendance. "Two Star Fight Club President Mako Mankanshou?" H.G. asked as the girl nodded quickly. "Just....go take a seat." H.G. said as the girl quickly rushed off doing so

"Your welcome!" Nevada called out with a cheeky grin, not in the least bit ashamed or embarrassed. Her eyes bright with amusement, and a hint of light pink across her cheeks, it wasn't long before a laugh managed to escape her lips. The students sitting nearby flashed the girl confused looks...but Kendrick didn't. Instead...he joined in on the laugh, black falling into his dark brown eyes while he leaned forward onto his elbows. "You really know how to... rebel against authority, Miss Ash..." he chuckled, finally lifting his head in order to look at the teenager.

Nevada lifted one arm, resting the elbow on the back of her seat while leaning back in it. "Thanks... I think? I'm not quite sure if that's a compliment or not... Oh, and you don't need to call me Miss Ash. It's Nevada. Miss Ash is my..." Mother... Not bothering to finish the thought out loud, she glanced down at Jikan... a little worried about his coloring. He was normally a dark, navy blue...but after having absorbed those glowing red threads and getting indigestion, he was more along the lines of sky blue. Luckily he did seem to be getting better...so now, he wasn't one color or the other, but rather somewhere between the two. Her fingers playing with the pleats of his skirt, she was tempted to ask how he was feeling...however, it probably wasn't a good idea, seeing as how no one else but H.G. could hear him.

The door flew off its hinges, slamming into the wall opposite it. "Oh bloody hell, not again!" the Time Lord cried out, clearly annoyed as the roll book was thrown down onto her desk. "Oi! What do you want this time?!" Nevada leaned forward...not sure whether or not she should be preparing herself for battle. Did Satsuki decide not to follow through with the deal? she wondered, eyes narrowing slightly at the thought. Wary, she was definitely...surprised, when instead of Gamagoori storming into the classroom, or one of the Elite Four goons...a hyperactive girl about the same age as her entered in a fast blur. Her hair was chestnut brown, cut short to just below the ears...and given her...well, first impression...she was a dunce. Either that, or really...really naive.

"AHHH! I'm so sorry!! I'm so sorry!!!! I didn't mean to break the door," the girl said, wearing what looked like a No-Star Goku Uniform at first glance...but upon closer inspection, had two black stars on the blouse, underneath the large black coat draped over her shoulders. There was a military-style hat on her head, not to mention brass knuckles on both hands. "Ummm, it's okay..." H.G. said awkwardly, obviously just as off-put by the girl as Nevada was. Her eyes scanned the roster. "Two Star Fight Club President Mako Mankanshou?" she asked, which the girl replied with a quick nod. "Just...go take a seat." The Club President -known as Mako now- rushed off to do so, leaving the door where it was. Nevada bit back a laugh, and leaned back in her seat.

Looks like things just got interesting... Nevada thought, unaware that Kendrick had hesitantly reached out, and was now playing with one of her curls. "I...I like your new haircut..." he murmured, catching her attention. Her head tilted, almost making it to where he was cupping her cheek. "Oh really...? Thanks, I like it myself..." she replied, blushing a darker pink than earlier. "It's a lot easier to manage...and it's a lot...cooler..." Kendrick offered a shy smile, giving that one curl one final tug before releasing it.

Once the attendance was taken care of H.G. hopped off her desk and moved to the remains of the class room door. "Students open your books up to pg. 42 while I put this back in place. Today we will be going over Nazi Germany's invasion of the neighboring countries that began World War II." the Time Lord said propping the door back into place as the room filled with the sounds of text books being dropped onto desks and opened to the desired page number.

For the next hour while H.G. discussed the lesson Jikan remained quiet with his eyes still shut still recovering. However every time the Time Robe heard Kendrick speak did he want to shut the kid up. Jikan did not understand why this steadily growing of uneasiness grew directed towards the teen. Was it because Nevada was paying attention to someone else other than him? It could be possible, after all her blood was what originally awakened him and it could have very well 'imprinted' her onto his mind. 'If only Matoi had perished in that fire...he could tell me more about what I am' Jikan though glumly about the man who created him and his untimely end.

Soon the bell began to ring out indicating the school day was now over. "Alright class no homework tonight but I do expect you to read the chapter for a test at the end of the week." H.G. said finishing up the lesson as the students began packing up eager to go home and enjoy the remainder of the day to themselves or with friends. "Nevada will you stay for a moment please so I can speak with you?" H.G. asked knowing if she didn't say something her young student would probably be out the door and long gone with that cute little boy she was talking too.

Minute crept onto minute...the class taking ten times longer than usual, or at least, that is what it seemed like. Nevada didn’t pay much attention to the lecture, having learned about Nazi Germany’s invasion of the neighboring countries, thus sparking World War II, last year. That wasn’t the case for Kendrick. It wasn’t like he didn’t want to pay attention… most like… he couldn’t, with the girl he’s been dreaming of for quite some time now sitting not even arm’s length away. Their conversation continued, albeit on a piece of paper, and was passed back and forth while the minutes ticked on by.The textbooks provided just enough cover so it wasn’t discovered, luckily, so there was no interruptions. There was one awkward moment, when Kendrick was called on to read out loud...but he managed to stumble his way past it.

Nevada kept a mental tab on Jikan’s condition, and noted when his coloring finally began to darken. Phew, I’m glad he’s starting to get better… she thought, the hand playing at his skirt rising to mess with the tip of his scarf. I was starting to get worried for a second there… I’m just relieved it was only indigestion, not something else… The bell rang, indicating that class has ended. Every student jerked up out of their seats, Nevada along with them, heading to the door that promised freedom. Given what time it was… lunch was next, which meant...food, and socializing among themselves. Of course...she didn’t care any about the latter. Her stomach giving a growl, as though to agree, Nevada froze when her name was called...dread, frustration, and a number of other things making an appearance on her features.

Kendrick threw back a sympathetic look. Nevada returned it with a grimace, and slowly… turned back to face H.G. “Yes…?” she drawled out, annoyance ringing in that one syllable. “What do you want to talk about…?” The room now empty, she leaned against a nearby desk, arms crossing underneath her breasts. Several brown curls came to lay against her cheeks, bringing out her dark brown eyes...and the frustration she felt. “What’s up, H.G.?” she asked, this time after drawing in a deep breath. “It’s lunchtime, and I don’t want to miss eating… I’m starving.”

"I understand that but we need to talk about you know who." H.G. said leaning against the wall. "If you are going to face Satsuki's best minion we will need to figure out what we can about her." The Time Lord mentioned before pointing a finger towards Jikan. "And we need to find the Nudist so we can throttle the information out of him about Jikan." H.G. said before undoing the bun holding her hair together allowing her dark hair to tumble down to her shoulders. "After school we need to start looking into this....where do you want to start?" she asked while redoing her hair back into her bun.

"I agree, I agree..." Nevada sighed, tilting her head back until she was looking up at the ceiling. Because of this, her brown curls were tickling the backs of her shoulders, and reflecting the light easily. "My thing is... we have plenty of time to look into Reya, after lunch..." Her attention was caught at mention of the Nudist, and she lifted her head back up, and gave a nod. "It wouldn't hurt to know more about Jikan... even if it's just a little bit..." Her fingers playing with his skirt once more, she thought over what they should do next. "Honestly... I don't have many resources, when it comes to looking into things. You are better capable of looking into...well, anything." Only being honest, she gave a shrug.

H.G. sighed seeing the logic in Nevada's words. "True." she said with a shrug of her own "Go eat. I'll find the Nudist and drag him back to your home later. I'll make sure he is decent." the Time Lord said with a wink while pulling on her long black coat and began to take her leave before stopping in step and turning back around to face Nevada. "I do have one piece of advice to share also. Make friends and I mean powerful ones Nevada. " H.G. stated firmly. "That girl is Satsuki's right hand and will definitely have more than one trick up her sleeve. The worst case scenario is that you lose and then everyone in this Academy will be coming after both of us. I'm not saying you will lose but one must always be prepared." she said

Nevada was about to respond, when her stomach gave a rather...loud, violent growl. "Ah, yeah... I'll get right on that. Her name was Mako...right?" Knowing it was, she pushed away from the desk, and stretched her arms high above her head. Inches of smooth, creamy skin exposed itself due to the motion, and whoever was looking could have seen the girl's flat stomach. With a groan, she lowered her arms back down to her sides. "Well, if you don't mind... I'd really like to eat at some point today. Kendrick is probably waiting for me, too..." Indicating the waiting door, she turned to go, and paused. "Oh, and that's fine. You can bring the Nudist...but you gotta remember, my place is in shambles. I don't think it's the best place to bring him...but if you want to, you can." Giving a little shrug, she joined Kendrick outside, and together, they went on to the cafeteria.

Kendrick smiled as Nevada exited the classroom and followed her to the cafeteria with a small smile. "Is everything ok?" Kendrick asked wondering why their teacher needed to see her. Based on the last two days alone watching H.G. not only stand up to Gamagori and literally throw a Two-Star Captain towards Nevada the general opinion of the new professor was that the woman was suffering from a minor case of insanity. "You don't have to say..." he added quietly.

Jikan chuckled a bit as he kept his eyes closed to avoid startling the child with his golden gaze. "He is definitely not an aggressive person." the Time Robe muttered his navy blue coloring fully restored indicating he had recovered and ready to be activated. Entering the cafeteria the two teens would be greeted by the aroma of the freshly cooked food filling the room coupled with the noise of students talking amongst themselves.

While there was no official requirement of students to sit apart based on rank it was definitely not uncommon to find No-Stars sitting huddled together, One-Stars enjoying one another's company, or Two Star Captain's sitting together discussing club related events. The notable exception however was the absence of the Three Star Elites whom tended to eat by themselves up in the tower along with the Student Council President.

Kendrick however made no move to go through the line. "I'll wait." Kendrick said pulling out a small brown paper bag from his backpack. "I normally pack my own lunch for school." He said the color returning to his features as stood there awkwardly.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

H.G. sighed standing in the control room to her TARDIS watching the cylinder in the center steadly rise in fall inside the glass casing while the wheezing noise filled the room. It wasn't a bad sound, oh no after a hundred years of time travel it was perhaps the most comforting sound to the Time Lord in the universe. The sound that her box was taking her to a world or time she never experienced before, the thrill of adventure, the thought of new experiences always sent a delightful tingle down her spine. Dark brown eyes averting from the cylinder H.G. returned her attention to the controls as the TARDIS was currently locating the Aikuoro aka the Nudist aka the man who knew more than he let on. Normally H.G. was far more perceptive and could detect when a person was hiding something from her. That is of course when her seventeen year old student doesn't follow her or Autons decide to interrupt her meetings either.

It had certainly been an interesting adventure so far. First this academy and its performance enhancing clothes, then the Autons show up, followed by a sailor uniform coming to life and transforming into a powerful combat suit albeit a risqué one. Thinking of Jikan's alternate form reminded H.G. of the crime lord she had met on Tortuga and his harem of girls she was in fact still part off. Maybe when H.G. had some free time she would go and visit...she certainly wouldn't mind a little spoiling and telling her young friend about recent events.

Pulling a final lever down the TARDIS came to a halt the cylinder ceasing its movement and the sounds gone. Grabbing her coat off the nearby chair H.G. tugged the long black coat on before opening the doors to the TARDIS to reveal the slums of Honno City once again. Strolling down the street H.G. arrived in front of the address she had managed to locate before knocking rather loudly on the door. "Oi Nudist!" she said making sure that Aikuro knew it was her. "I'm here to talk about the parcel you gave me the other day." There was no response prompting H.G. to sigh before subtly pulling her screwdriver out and holding it close to her waist before triggering the buzzing noise and disengaging the lock. With her tool still in hand H.G. entered the building.

“Everything’s fine,” Nevada replied absently, only sparing the boy a glance. Their eyes met, however, and her lips curved into a faint smile. It was sweet, how he was worried...but there was no need to be concerned. “Thanks, though… I appreciate it. H.G. - I mean, Miss Wells… just wanted to lecture me on how I need to pay more attention in class, do my homework… you know, that sort of thing. It’s nothing, really… Come on, let’s go see what the cafeteria is serving today for lunch. I’m starving!” With a laugh, she tugged on Kendrick’s arm...leading him down the hallway. Her hair fanned out behind her.

Nevada’s dark brown eyes glanced down at the uniform, noting that his coloring was back to its usual navy, and that his attitude was back to normal as well. “Quiet, you…” she whispered under her breath. So what if Kendrick isn’t aggressive…? I find him...interesting, and I like talking to him… isn’t that enough? Entering the cafeteria, the two teens were greeted by the delicious aroma of freshly cooked food, which was coupled with the noise of students talking amongst themselves.

One-Stars enjoyed one another’s company, No-Stars sat huddled together, and Two-Stars were off in the corner, discussing the events going on in their various clubs. It wasn’t official that the ranks don’t mingle or anything...but it did seem like it was more comfortable, seeing as how the higher ranks would dominate any conversation going on, or demand respect… or something. Only the Three-Stars and the Student Council President were missing, but she didn’t really mind.

Moving to get into the line, Nevada tilted her head when Kendrick said he’ll wait. “You usually pack your own lunch?” she asked, curiosity lighting up her eyes. The breakfast sandwich he had given her the other day was delicious...and she pondered what he’d packed for a second or so, before giving him a nod. “Okay. Why don’t you find us a good seat, then, while I go through this? Oh, and I demand to get a bite of whatever it is you have in there.”

Her lips curving into a mischievous smile, the girl looked over the options, each one looking more appetizing than the last. Nevada felt her stomach give another vicious growl, and resisted the urge to hold onto it and give it a serious talking-to. Almost licking her lips, she began reaching out to a plate holding a generous portion of spaghetti, when...she felt a glare piercing into her. Wha-? Chills creeping over her skin, she glanced around...only for everything to appear normal. With a little shrug, she began to reach for it again...when that feeling returned. This time, when she looked around, she noticed something she didn’t earlier. Down the bar offering food was another section...one that featured food that didn’t look the least bit edible. Oh no, don’t tell me… Suspicion and dread making a dangerous concoction in the pit of her stomach, Nevada continued on down, and the lunch lady handed over a plate of the gruel. Her nose wrinkled at the smell. This is what they feed No-Stars? Maybe I should start moving up the ranks...either that, or start bringing my own lunch…

Not even bothering to hold back the long, mournful sigh, Nevada cast her gaze about the cafeteria...finding Kendrick towards the back, sitting alone. Heading towards him, she could feel just about every pair of eyes moving onto her...almost as though they were expecting more trouble, or for her to start foaming at the mouth. Or to start taking off her clothes. That last part was the more likely of the three...though the second could very much be it, as well. Rolling her eyes, she plopped her tray onto the table, her butt following soon after, only on the seat.

“I feel stared at…” Nevada grumbled. “Is there something on my face, or is it just me?” The question aimed at Kendrick, she poked at the grayish mess that was on her plate, flinching when it moved. That...is not normal… Pushing her plate away, Nevada rested her chin in the palm of her hand, and shot a glare when she met a green pair of eyes openly staring at her. “Geez…” Her fingers tapping a rhythm, it wasn’t long before she brushed her hand over Jikan’s skirt section, smoothing out the wrinkles.

Kendrick watched absent mindedly as Nevada headed for the lunch line his eyes catching the sight of both the familiar brown curls bounce along with the sway of her rather short skirt that caused his cheeks to heat up yet again. There was something special about that new girl that just made him feel all weird whenever Kendrick was near her. Averting his gaze Kendrick moved past the noisy and crowded tables the majority of the no star students set at and opted to sit at the only empty table available.

Kendrick really didn't tend to fit in with his peers that much compared to most boys his age. Growing up the youngest sibling and only brother in the family poor Kendrick was the subject of his sisters games and torture. The end results left him being teased by numerous kids in grade school before transferring to Honnuji Academy a few later. It had been either luck or a miracle that none have found out about it yet here. Seeing Nevada approach caused a small smile to tug at his lips seeing her approach. It did however vanish for a moment when the plate of gruel was dropped onto the table.

Hearing the question concealed in the grumble made Kendrick chuckle softly. "No I think your face looks great." He said before his eyes widened realizing what he said towards Nevada. "Uh I mean you look great like you normally do....." well that didn't make the situation better. "Er I mean nothing looks wrong. They must just be expecting you to attack them is all or something..." he said trying to steer the conversation in a different direction. Fortunately it did when Nevada began to examine her food which responded to her prodding something that made Kendrick cringe slightly in response.

"I don't think you should eat that at all..." he said opening the brown paper bag that held his lunch inside which held a small container with a sandwhich inside, a bag of chips, a candy bar, an apple, and a soda. "I didn't bring anything special today but your more than welcome to what I have." Kendrick said with a small blush as he struggled with the next words. "A-and if you want..instead of eating the school's food...." Kendrick's mind was screaming 'What the h** are you doing?! "I-I can bring you...s-something" he said

Nevada’s eyes narrowed at the grey mess that was considered food by the school’s standards, giving it another poke before setting her fork aside. Numerous brown curls followed the shake of her head, light bringing out the blonde highlights hiding within the threads. “Wait...huh?” she asked, pretty damn sure she didn’t hear him correctly. Those brown eyes a little bit wider at the corners, she looked at Kendrick straight-on, waiting for him to reiterate. Of course… his next sentence didn’t make matters any better… and so, caused a nice pink blush to spread across her face.

“I think I get your point,” Nevada laughed, deciding to let it slide. “I made a deal with Satsuki, though… so I’m not gonna attack anyone, just as long as they don’t attack me first.” Her eyes sliding back to the plate, she picked up her fork to give it one last poke. “I really don’t think this is edible… I’m not going to even try this...this gruel. Um… anything you can spare, I’d really appreciate it.” Nevada leaned closer, to get a peek inside his brown paper bag and see what he did have for lunch. Kendrick didn’t have much, that much she’ll admit...but he did prepare for only one person, after all, not two.

Her breast brushed against the boy’s arm...though Nevada was not aware of this. “Ah… if you don’t mind, I’d like to have a bite of that apple… and maybe a few chips…” she requested, not trying to sound...needy or anything. Her hand dipped into the brown paper bag, and brought out said apple. With a smile being thrown in his direction, she took a bite, teeth sinking into the skin and the meaty fruit underneath. A few drops of juice fell onto her chin. “Mm… this is really good. Here, you try a bite.” Nevada gave Kendrick the apple, a nice chunk of the apple missing in one side. Right when she was going to reach into the bag again, and bring out the bag of chips...she paused, and looked back at him.

“You’d do that? Kendrick, you are the sweetest!” Nevada told him, eyes bright and her smile infectious. Without even bothering to think through what she was about to do, or keep herself from doing it, she leaned forward and pressed her lips to his cheek in a chaste kiss. “I would absolutely love that! I had that breakfast sandwich before...which was delicious, by the way… and I would not complain in the slightest if you make more food in the near future… Preferably, tomorrow.” Giving a small laugh, she relaxed back in her seat, digging out a few chips.

Kendrick offered a shy smile in return as he was offered the apple before taking a small bite out of it not wanting to take much so Nevada would have more to eat. The smile only grew broader hearing the joy within Nevada's voice from his offer to bring her some food during lunch. Then the smile turned to an awkward blush when Nevada's swell of flesh unknowingly pressed against his arm. Before the blush turned beet red when she kissed the boy on the cheek. "Um..." Kendrick stuttered his eyes darted downwards to his hands. "N-no problem" He said looking back up with a small smile on his face.

Jikan was currently doing everything in his will power to remain quiet at this point listening to the two students. To say the least Jikan found it somewhat odd how quickly Nevada was opening up towards Kendrick. With H.G. it took a several days before Nevada began to open to the Time Lord granted she was an alien with a time machine space ship that looked like a box. With Koji she was very shy and awkward with the sword master, of course he did tend to be the human ideal of appealing and seemed to have issues with wearing shirts. Then their was himself it wasn't until he comforted her concerning Koji did their relationship somewhat improve. Then again Jikan in his blood lust did forcefully strip her and made the school girl wear him during their first meeting.

Then with Kendrick, he gave her a breakfast sandwich something that she was very grateful for. As the Time Robe thought about it, Nevada had the most normal encounters and interactions with Kendrick. Was that why his wearer was taking such an interest to him? Because this shy awkward boy was average by today's standards? Jikan inwardly groaned as he felt like he was going to unravel himself from over thinking this.

"So...are you ready for tomorrow?" Kendrick suddenly asked finding his voice gain hoping his hair could hide some of the blush. "Tomorrow's a big day here at the Academy." he said as Jikan's interest suddenly peeked hearing this news. "It's No-Tardy day tomorrow....." he said

“Am I ready for tomorrow?” Nevada repeated, the tone of her voice indicating that she had no idea what he was talking about. For a moment, she thought different possibilities as to what tomorrow had to offer… and found herself at a dead-end. “Is there a test tomorrow or something, and I’ve just forgotten about it…?” she mused out loud, her index and middle fingers tapping out a rhythm on her chin. Her expression was one of deep thought...brown eyes gazing rather intently at the plate of gruel, however...she wasn’t looking at it. The mess decided to give a little wiggle right at that moment, without any prompting...which drove her to push the plate away, quickly.

Nevada lifted her eyes, the brown orbs widening slightly at the realization. “No-Tardy Day? Crap, I totally forgot about it… and here I was, hoping to sleep in tomorrow.” Sticking her tongue out at Kendrick playfully, she relaxed back in her seat, looking up at the ceiling while she thought about last year. “I swear… No-Tardy Day is just an excuse to try and get rid whatever students they find...you know, unacceptable. We lose enough students as it is, so it wouldn’t really surprise me if that was the whole point behind No-Tardy Day.” Wrinkling her nose this time around, she spared a glance at her friend and let out an exaggerated sigh. “Ridiculous, huh? If Honnouji Academy wants to get rid of a few students, just expel them already. We don’t need to go through World War III to prove that we want to be here.” After letting out another sigh, the girl crossed her eyes and stuck her tongue out.

Once that was done...making it to where that was out of her system, Nevada scowled. “No… I don’t really think I’m ready for it. I mean, come on… I’m not ready for a death match...just to run into school.” Her eyes wandering about the cafeteria, going from one group of students to another...studying each person before moving on to the next. Her fingers began drumming out a rhythm on her thigh...first, the beat of a song, and then a random tone altogether.

“How about you?” Nevada finally spoke up, and directed her gaze onto him. “Are you ready for No-Tardy Day…? I mean, it gets pretty rough… Bloodshed, broken bones...you know, all of that. I just hope you don’t get hurt…” Nevada ran a hand through her hair...making several brown curls bounce about her features.

"Honestly.... I don't feel to confident about it. It's my first time running the death trap." Kendrick said his gaze averting hers as he looked down at the table. "Its honestly not fair to everyone else who isn't in the best of shape." He said before looking back up with a small smile. "But I'll know you'll do great with your magic clothes" he said with a sheepish laugh as a tick mark would have formed on Jikan's scarf from being called such. "If you want I can find you something to cover yourself when you transform." He offered and right then and there Jikan heard enough.

"Hey!" Jikan snapped his golden eyes suddenly opening in a scowl which caused Kendrick to jump out of his skin. "I have feelings too pal how would you like it if I found a cloak for you to cover you up!," the Time Robe ranted as he became stiff his stitching tightening around Nevada. Sadly as Jikan continued to vent his pent up frustration it would only fall on deaf ears save for Nevada.

"Nevada...." Kendrick said watching Jikan's golden eyes twitch as his eyes slowly moved up from Nevada's chest to her face where dark brown eyes focused on her own instead of the golden ones. "W-why does your sailor uniform have....eyes..." He said worried if her clothes were possesssd and intended to throttle him based on the look the uniform was giving him.

Nevada fiddled with the tips of her hair, listening, and giving a little nod. "I agree, it isn't fair... I mean, how are the No-Stars going to survive, if no one has special Goku Uniforms like the higher ranked students? Not to mention there is the students who are not...athletic. No offense." Those dark brown eyes lifted, and her lips began to curve into a little smile. "Heh, I don't know... I mean, it's pretty brutal... I might not be able to make it, despite my...magical clothes..." Hesitant to incorporate that last part, she ran her fingers over the skirt, playing with the pleats. before she could say anything else, however... Kendrick offered that he bring something she can use to cover herself with when she transforms...

Of course, it pissed off Jikan to the point where he tried to portray the frustration and anger he felt. Nevada lifted both hands and gave a sheepish smile, in an attempt to calm the situation. One went down to the ranting uniform, her fingers trying to reassure Jikan and calm him down, too. "It's okay, Jikan, it's okay... He didn't mean anything bad by it..." she murmured, not too worried about Kendrick hearing her.

"Eh... Um, Jikan has eyes...because..." Nevada was lost for words, not only because she didn't know how to answer... but because the uniform had tightened around her breasts, hips and everywhere else, making it a little hard to breathe. "I-I wouldn't worry about it too much... cause honestly... I don't know how to explain it, myself..." came her gasped reply, the girl fidgeting in the seat she was in. Her heart was racing, and her breaths short.

"Jikan has eyes because he's a living being as well." The Time Robe said with a small growl before inwardly facepalming. Silly Jikan of course Kendrick didn't even hear single word he said. The only two people who could hear was Nevada and H.G. With a frustrated sigh towards his inability to vent his anger properly the Time Robe began to calm down and loosen up some allowing Nevada to breathe.

"Jikan?" Kendrick asked looking at the uniform who was looking back at him. "You mean it..." He began before receiving another glare. "I mean he....is alive?" Kendrick said trying to wrap his mind around the concept of living clothing. While the evidence was before him it was still hard to believe it was in fact true.

"Hmph he is slow to catch on." Jikan said before grinning on the inside. Kendrick couldn't hear him...maybe this was a blessing in disguise. "If he is so worried about being late tommorow maybe we should just take him with us then. " he suggested "provided he can keep up."

Nevada drew in a deep breath, that oxygen reaching her starving lungs and bringing instant relief. If it wasn't for the fact that his tightening made it difficult to breathe...she probably would have found the experience interesting, perhaps even enjoyable. A light pink creeping along the girl's features, she lifted her gaze, not quite sure what to say about the situation. On one hand, it very well might be a good idea that he knows...and yet, it also very well not be. Torn with indecision, she ran one hand through her hair... sending several brown curls back out of her face, only for the rebellious threads to fall forward. Finally...she lifted her gaze, giving the young man a sheepish smile...one which made her look rather adorable right then. A lock of brown fell against her cheek, only emphasizing her high cheekbones and her full, pouty lips.

“Let’s just...say this, Kendrick. Jikan is a living being, though he’s an uniform… He has feelings, he has opinions, and thoughts...and he can speak. You can’t hear him, but… I can,” Nevada relayed, deciding to keep H.G. out of it. “Those are Jikan’s eyes, right there…” Her hand lifted to the golden pair, unintentionally drawing Kendrick’s eyes to her breasts. Did I explain it well enough for him to understand…?she thought, now starting to nibble on her bottom lip, the pink flesh darkening to a rosy red color. I know I can be unclear sometimes… especially when I’m nervous, or I don’t know what to say… With a sigh, she relaxed back in her seat...only to blink when Jikan spoke up.

A smile spreading across Nevada's face, her face lighting up. "That is a great idea! Kendrick, Jikan just brought up a great idea. Why don't we help you get to school...? I don't mind, and besides... I'd hate to lose my friend because of some silly No-Tardy Day." Sticking her tongue out at the thought, she grinned again, brown eyes sparkling. "As paying me back, why not bring an extra big lunch, just for the two of us?"

Kendrick was still struggling to process every syllable that left Nevada's lips concerning the golden eyes still glaring at him somewhat. A uniform that was alive and conscious. That only Nevada could hear it speak to her as normal as if talked to her right now. Needless to say that sounded nigh impossible to believe. The uniform transforming into a powerful form was easier to believe considering a certain percentage of students here had their own as well but one that talked? The young boy was pulled out of his thoughts hearing Nevada's or more specifically Jikan's suggestion that he comes with them tomorrow and how to compensate them. "Yeah." Kendrick said with a soft smile. "I can do that..." his face become a light shade of pink. "What do you like?" he asked

Jikan remained silent as he continued to watch the two students talk amongst themselves. On the inside however Jikan was somewhat annoyed, the only reason why he suggested Kendrick come with is because the kid was his wearer's friend. If not Jikan would have simply said too bad and went on with his way while the boy got the boot. Still the Time Robe did take note on one particular item of interest concerning how Nevada blushed from his unintended squeezing of her body. That was something he would take note of to look into later.

Another hour later following the end of lunch and the remainder of Nevada's classes ending did her phone vibrate indicating she had a message. 'Oi Nevada!, good news I found the nudist. I managed to 'convince' him to come along. We are at your home now. Come over when your ready ;) -H.G' the text message said

“I like just about anything!” Nevada and Kendrick’s conversation continued for the rest of their lunch period, with Jikan not offering much from the sidelines. Another hour later, following the end of lunch and towards the remainder of her classes starting did her phone vibrate, indicating she had a message. “What the-? I never get messages on this thing…” she murmured under her breath, pressing a few buttons to view the new text message. Reading it brought a shake of her head, and a sigh. “It looks like we have plans with a Nudist…” she told Jikan with a wrinkle of her nose. “Fun, fun. ‘Come over when I’m ready’? I just hope he’s wearing clothes, or I’m not having anything to do with this...interview, interrogation, ‘convincing’ session.” With another long, exasperated sigh, Nevada tucked her phone away after receiving looks from Ira Gamagoori, and stuck her tongue out at him when he wasn’t looking.

The rest of the day went by in an uneventful blur, broken up into boring lectures in different lectures. Nevada couldn’t pay much attention, and instead gazed out the window… wondering what sort of answers both she and H.G. will force out of the Nudist. If they could gleam anything...anything at all about Jikan from the man...that would be great. Impatience making her antsy, she stared at the clock for the last fifteen minutes of class...until finally, the damn bell rang, and everyone began running out. Nevada joined in, having already collected everything she was going to need for homework and the like. From the sounds of it, though...a lot more work was in her future, for there was going to be group projects in one class here pretty soon.

Nevada tilted her head back once she was outside, warmth falling onto her shoulders and back, making the girl smile. “Mm...feels good…Alright, let’s head on back to my place. We have a Nudist to confront…” Her last words bordering on a groan, she rolled her eyes… tugged her bag against her hip, and started making her way down from Honnouji Academy, to the Slums.
