The Captain would note the words of Zetrin and then grin wide, looking towards the guards as they continued to escort the feeble man out.

"Hear that, boys. Criminal with a bounty is turned in and no one claiming the reward money. Seems we have a vigilante treating us to steak tonight."

The guards cheered, continuing out.

"he's alive, make use of it he may know something useful, I suspect their is more to it then just him... These bandannas..." Gnalus will glance at his companions then he will reach down and pick. Up one of the bandana's "he was not a good man, perhaps I should have just let him die there, but that may have even been worse" Gnalus shook his head as he examined the object.

(I'll attempt a religion check on the bandana's
8+4=12 for religion)

"That man is an apprentice gone sour. He didn't throw himself on that pole." Zetrin seethes as he walks towards the other door. He doesn't even take the time to check for anything, and just throws the door open. He takes his recently required hammer and raps on the door, trying to attract anything left to their position.

"Captain, if there is a rear exit to this hole, put someone there. If we don't kill the master, He will get out and I'll have to chase him down again."

"Well, I was promised something in return for this" Xian grinned towards Zetrin. "You better make it..worthwhile"

Her eyes turned to the apprentice. Can necromancy give her eternal youth? Probably, but at what cost? She didn't want to end up as a living corpse, afterall, but it's worth a look.

"So, are we going after the real necromancer?"

(Btw, do we know where the hole leads now?)

Not able to peice anything useful together from the bandanas the paladin stood and looked around "Nows as good a time as any to turn back if you don't want to get bitten anymore" Gnalus teased Xian, affixing his shield to his arm again and drawing his sword this time as well, following Zetrin to the doorway, standing beside him and peering in.

"lets see what we can see..." Gnalus said, once more his eyes gave of a pale blue glow and he peered into the room ahead, watching for any signs of evil auras.

(14+6=20 perception to not just see evil but to generally look around whatever is ahead of us in the doorway as well.)

The Captain would shrug his shoulder in response to where the hole went. He had no idea and he would probably send someone to investigate it after the criminal was processed, and after that delicious steak dinner.

After prying the door open, it would fall and crash, the stone cracking but not shattering. Peering through, they would see a tunnel that was not fully light, through it a faint light could be felt as though it turned, it never seemed to become pitch black. A slight feel of airflow would be felt. It did not seem as the tunnel had been disturbed, but Gnalus could see a faint evil light, appearing as it was moving. It was moving farther away, growing more distant.

(sorry n-chan, meant to edit this before you posted)
"Ill owe you a whole week if we can grab the master." The slight feeling of air moving was enough to send Zetrin into a sprint down the hall. Calling out to no one but the man he thought could be there he yells out a he runs. "Get back here, you have evaded me far to long."

Xian sighed. Heels weren't made for running, but she followed anyways. Afterall, if he dies, she'll need to find a new cock to fill her tonight

Gnalus follows the two in, keeping an eye on the moving glow, ready to direct Zetrin and Xian in any change in movements, of this was a crypt or a catacombs it could easily become a maze of tunnels the man could use to hide, they'd have to keep up if that was the case, or he'd be gone.

Luckily it wasn't as much of twists and turns as one might hope. The tunnel would come to turn left, descending a tad before going right again. Eventually it would come out to an opening. They would come to a wide, underground cavern. The air would feel fresh and despite being underground, they could see atleast one opening above to provide natural light. Water would be seen flowing below and they would come across a bridge. About half way across they would see a figure walking across the wooden planks, heading towards the other side. He didn't seem to take notice of the words of Zetrin as he kept walking.

Seeing the man walking across the wood, he continues to charge at the man. Reading his sword and hammer as he gets close to the man.

(I feel an acrobatics check coming ssssoooo 11-1=10)

Gnalus will do his best to keep pace with Zetrin, but the bridges rocking and planks will force him to stay back a little bit, the more nimble ranger able to catch up much faster, Gnalus also arms himself, ranging for what every may come.

(10 is fine... as nothing happens.)

The figure on the bridge would come to turn, facing him. Seen to be in loosely clad garments, he would look at them. (Character model for character, Google search: Malik Graces) Around his waist he would wear a belt and one of those bandanas were tucked in it. He would raise an eye brow, a partial smile as he looked down.

"Hell of a drop. Could you not run on the creaky bridge?"

He would continue taking a few steps back at the ranger charging, his hand on the rope as he looked to him. He would seem relaxed, pausing and leaning against the rope that supported the side of the bridge, drawing a dagger and picking something out of his teeth.

Gnalus will try and grab at Zetrins should to stop his charge, seeing that the man is not who they thought he was, or at least not what they thought he was "Zetrin hold on a moment, this man isn't the one we're looking for" he thought perhaps the man before was indeed the necromancer... In which case Gnalus could only assume this man dealt with him.

"what were you doing in that crypt? You aren't a necromancer nor are you one of their thralls, yet you carry the mark"
Gnalus will point at the man's waist where a similar looking bandanna hangs.

Zetrin stops his mad charge at the man as he feels a hand on his shoulder. He listens to this new evidence from his impromptu partner. " pray you are right" Zetrin says under his breathe as he waits for the man before them to speak but adds " better be a good reason to or your under arrest for trespassing."

(Acro is 27)

The man was her type. Blonde hair, athletic frame. Hopefully, he wasn't the necromancer, Xian was hoping to at least find out if he's any good in bed.

(What is he taking out of his teeth?)

His attention would first shift to Zetrin, offering a smile and moving that dagger from his teeth, the blade nonchalantly set on the rope more to rest in the position.

"Let me think on this one... seeing as none of you are wearing guard's uniforms, I'm going to guess you are not members of the city watch, so if strolling above this gorgeous view was tresspassing, wouldn't you be trespassing also?"

His attention would turn from him to Gnalus, looking past Zetrin.

"If I was an evil necromancer, why would I kill all my evil undead minions and then leave another necromancer for the authorities? Wouldn't I be wiser to try and take them, increasing my evil, undead army?"

He would pause, considering the question.

"Before you think long on that response, I'll make my answer a bit more brief. No."

His attention would then move towards the acrobatic one, eyes on her.

"You have a question for me also, darlin?"

Gnalus will let Zetrin keep his eyes on the man, instead drawing g his attention to the area on the other side of the bridge and below them, why did this crypt lead here?

"Well, my question would be 'how long and how thick' but it might not matter if you're the necromancer we're after" She sighed, hands on the pommel of her saber. "What do you say Zetrin? Is this your man?"

"We have permission to be down here given by the guard. I doubt you have such privilege." Zetrin's voice is on edge, anger clearly the dominating force. "To answer your question, you cant overtake the risen of others unless you are of the highest caliber of magic user, and controlling a human is beyond even the gods. So you do the next best thing, take out the competition. Now come with me, you know to many details about a killing you shouldn't have witnessed, making you my main suspect." He walks towards the man, weapons lowered but still ready to strike. "If I'm wrong, you can have him Xian. He should provide you with a fun night. Seems like the kind that likes it dirty."

He would pause, his face frowning as he shook his head. With each step forward that Zetrin took, he would take a step back, that dagger dragging over the rope as he moved.

"As much as I would love the reward money for disabling a criminal, I am in a position where I can not accept such luxaries. Now... isn't attempting to fight someone on a bridge that this far up and this unstable of a bridge near suicide. Personally, I would rather discuss this all over a drink. However, I'm not the type to come in willingly. I am baffled though that you know so much about necromancers but haven't been able to conclude that I am not one."

His attention would shift to Xian.

"I'm the type that keeps that information until at least my second drink, darlin. I'll buy you a few later."

His attention would shift down, then glancing over his shoulder. He would pause, then continue backing away.

"Also, please lower your voice. There are rumors that this place isn't exactly empty."

"And what exactly is this place?" Gnalus will continue to look around this new location, avoiding looking down over the side of the bridge, was all of this under the city? He was convinced the man was not a necromancer, though whether his intentions were helpful or harmful remain to be determined he at least knew the man wasn't out to murder them for no reason, but judging by the way his dagger dragged against the ropes he also wasn't against sending them all plummeting if it was the only option, brave or stupid, Gnalus could not tell.

The man would look around, looking down and taking in the view while keeping his distance from Gnalus.

"They call it the Causeways. I'm not sure how it got the name. There are multiple entrances within the city to reach here. It's a bit odd though...the ceiling is much higher than any spot within the city I can think off and I don't recall being able to peak in her from anywhere else. It's a nice inbetween location."

"Seems like it." Zetrin says, still walking towards the man. "I haven't seen evidence you aren't a necromancer either. However if you can tell me why you have that bandanna without proving that your are one, I will be forced to look the other way. Really the only reason I'm so fixated on you is that I don't have anyone else as a suspect at the moment."
