"I won't." She said, flicking ash from the cigarette and sticking it between her lips, brushing against him as they walked.
 
"How can Okaa-san be a brat when you two are nearly the same age ?" She asked, baffled, but she shoved him back.
 
Koishi made a noise and held his hand, his rough hardened skin against her soft pale skin. "And you'll always be Tou-san."
 
She puffed her cheeks up, knocking her head against his shoulder and taking one last drag off her cigarette before flicking it away.
 
"Kinda." She muttered. "Kaa-san really loves you... She just wants to make sure we have enough money to be happy."
 
"What happened was an accident. It wasn't meant to happen; but sadly, it did. And with the money issue; Tom pays me plenty, Izaya pays your mom plenty. Unless she plans on leaving me again, we're fine..." He said
 
Koishi twiddled her fingers, keeping her eyes on the ground. "Mom said she wanted to quit her job and come home. Well, she didn't say it say it... But she wrote it."
