A Dark Moon [Vampire07 & Eyesoffire]

Though she moved to the couch and lead him over. Laying on her stomach where she told him to rub along her lower back. When he pressed and rubbed she did moan softly. "Yeah, that feels so much better." She looked over at him with a soft smile. "So how did you like having the two pups here? Even though it was for a short time."

Joe shook his head. "I'll admit it was hard in the beginning...I didn't understand what I was doing wrong...but today...today was fun, Thomas was laughing, you should have seen Rosie's face when I said I was a dinosaur. I'm pretty sure she believed it!" He chuckled and massaged her some more. "You're back is so tight, babe...have you been straining it or something?"

"Yeah...Cooking and fucking around." She said with a smirk. For the past couple of days she's been pushing herself beyond her limit. If he thought having the two pups for a day or two was hard wait until he manages to get one of his own. Lillian was aching from doing so much within a short amount of time. "Hun, lets go grab a hot bath together." She said with her sitting up while she untied her apron letting it fall to the couch. Getting up she grabbed his hand and lead him to the bathroom where she got the hot water going for them both.

"You're impulsive today, babe." He said and followed her, taking off his clothes as she got the water ready. When everything was prepared and moved into the bath with her and sat on one end watching her. "When Chris and I went into the city we didn't smell any packs at all...perhaps no packs have claimed it because of all the humans...do you think we should move in there? Maybe take a large part of the territory for ourselves?"

Lillian slipped in on the other end of the tub listening to Joe as he talked about there was no scent of others in the city. "Odd..." She thought about it then looked up at him shaking her head. "No. If there is no scent what so ever then there is something wrong. I mean no scent what so ever it tells me they were hunted out. No, I'm not risking my pack for something you want to do."

"Lillian...calm down." Joe said in a soft voice. "it's not something I want to do...don't talk like I'm being blamed for something terrible. I was only suggesting it, nothing more. You know I wouldn't do anything until I had your input on the matter. " He moved a little closer to her. 'Are you alright, baby?" He asked quietly.

She looked at him as she didn't think she was snapping at him. "I'm not mad and I'm fine." She stated to him as she didn't move away with him sitting so close to her. Though the look of worry in his eyes told her that he may have assumed she was snapping. Sighing as she leaned back against the edge of the tub closing her eyes. "Do I sound that bitchy?" She asked in a weak voice.

"You're not bitchy..." Joe said, wrapping his arm around her shoulder. "You're just concerned with your pack, love." He kissed her cheek. "I'd rather you get a little angry at me than anyone else, especially your friends...we can sort things out together." He kissed her lips. "better than anyone else." He pushed his tongue into her mouth. "Besides...I was bitchy when Marcus was looking to get his grubby paws on you...and he ended up dying...see...we can sort anything out, love."

Lillian sat there with him while he kissed her then he mentioned Marcus. "I didn't think he was going to be a problem but after what he did. I didn't know how to tell you since we were still rocky." She said with her looking down at the steaming water that surrounded them. "Its just when you mentioned on moving the pack to an area where there was no scent of other packs not even traces. Its rather uneasy." She said but she looked up at him. "Also I don't like the city....To many bad memories."

Joe nodded slowly. "I understand, baby." He whispered. "Forget I said it." He moved to the other side of the tub and sat down, looking at her. Lillian looked beautiful and strangely serene at this point, like a woman who was at her peak in physicality. Joe smiled at her. "Sit on my lap, love...is your back still hurting you?"

"It is..." She said as she moved over sitting in his lap with her back into his chest. She looked over her shoulder at him. "Do you ever wonder what the future holds for us?"

"Always, Lillian." He said as he began to rub her back gently. "I wonder what we're going to do with this pack, will we become great, will we die out like so many other packs? What about me and you? I want to be a good alpha and a good mate, but sometimes there are decisions that have to be made and I cannot choose an option..." He massages her between her shoulder-blades and kissed the back of her neck. "What about you?"

"Wait...What do you mean about options you can't choose?" She turned to look at him as that last bit confused her. "There are many options you can chose." She said softly wondering if he was refering to the past where he disappeared for awhile well long enough to help the other woman to conceive a child. That thought hit her but she looked away from him. "You know what...lets leave it." She said with her turning her back to him running a purple bar of soap over her limbs. The hot water soothed her back as she cleaned herself up.

Joe decided she was right, it was best to drop it all. He wished he could just forget about all these issues, but it was harder said than done. Either way, he didn't talk about it. "Did you ever want to visit a country, Lillian? Some place different, unique, just to see how people live there, how they're different and similar to us and what it would be like to see how our pack would do there? I don't mean we should move, I'm just curious...I'd love to travel to a tropical place, warm all year round, lovely water." He smiled and kissed her neck. "We could be naked together like this so often."

Listening to him as he spoke of other countries with their pack. But she didn't want her pack to follow them. With that thought hitting her she hung her head with her hands covering her face. What had become of her? Since the fire she no longer felt like Lillian he fell in love with and he no longer felt like the Joe she wanted. It felt like they were two total strangers leading fake lives to get by.

"Perhaps the date....Is needed before its to late." She said softly.

Joe looked at her with worry in his eyes. He didn't like to see Lillian cover her face with his hands. "Perhaps it is." He whispered and kissed her cheek. Getting out of the bath and dried himself off and walked into their room where he put on some clothes. "Get dressed, love." He said to her, he couldn't do it tomorrow, that was the feast, he wanted her to come now, it would be better for them. Joe pulled out his wallet from the drawer by the bed and walked to Lillian's side. "Wear something nice, baby."

With him getting out of the bath she looked up at him seeing him disappearing into their room. Feeling alone she laid back in the tub closing her eyes. Though when he called out to her about her to get dressed she sat up. Getting out as she wrapped a towel around herself in time to hear him telling to her wear something nice. "Wear something nice?" She asked looking at him closely wondering what was going through his head other than the date idea. Instead of fighting him or questioning all of this she shrugged with her walking away from him. By the closet she got herself dried off and slipped into a little black dress that hugged to her waist and glided over her hips. After getting her heels on she looked at him. "Well?"

Joe smiled at Lillian. "What do you mean 'well?' he asked, do you want me to tell you how beautiful you look, how ravishing, how good you smell and how much I want to kiss you?" He placed his hands on her hips. "You already know my answers to all of that...you just want to hear it, don't you?" He grinned and kissed her lips lovingly. "If you keep wearing this then we should certainly go out more often." He smiled.

Joe wore a slim-fit black suit with a white shirt and red tie. His pants were black and he had black, polished leather shoes on. They were his father's, he'd found them as he was going through his closet one day.

"Well...when I assumed anything about you it seems to be the wrong thing." She said with a soft smile in which she was being honest and blunt. She was tired of assuming then feelings getting hurt then the work and doubt afterwards. With him standing in front of her she looked up at him. "I'm not done dressing just yet." She said as she pulled away to a small wooden book that had a slight smokey smell. It was her mother's jewlery box and Travis, the gayish werewolf, saved the priceless box for her when the manor went up in flames.

Opening it as there was so much rings and necklaces inside it. Though her fingers went to one that was kept in a separate spot. It was a string of real pearls but in the middle of the strand was a large purple stone with diamonds around it. Lillian put the necklace on with the large stone fell onto her chest as if filling the void.

Joe couldn't help but smile. "Gorgeous." He said, walking up to her, looking at Lillian's face. "I didn't think that you could look more attractive, but here you are, looking amazing before me...I love it...I love you." He kissed her lips and looked down at her necklace. "Is there anything else you need?" he asked.

When they were both ready Joe took her out to the car and they drove into the city. The night was full of people, bustling with life. Joe drove uptown, to the high-class establishments. He pulled in at a place called 'Le Roi,'
The place was grand, three stories, all the tables had upper-class people and the waiters moved around serving food and checking on customers. Joe and Lillian were brought to a table and given menus. The walls had old paintings of glorious battles and famous soldiers. A live band was playing softly in a corner beside a small pond. Joe smiled at Lillian. "So...what do you think of the place?"

Shaking her head as she followed him to the car and let him drive off. Once they were uptown she was nervous. Her hair was parted off the side concealing a corner of her face with them being lead inside. Sitting down as the waiter pushed her chair in for her. Lillian looked around trying to take everything in but she felt so out of place here. Looking back at Joe when he asked about how did she like this.

"Ah..." Her face went red as this was to much for her. She was use to the rough life so she felt so small and out of place. "I really don't know, Joe. This is nice but it feels so faked." Her voice was soft but a woman nearby laughed at what she said.

"Apparantly, you're not part of our class." The blonde woman sipped on her wine with her eyes flashing at Joe. "Him on the other hand fits in with us just fine. Why don't you, Girl, take off while he finds someone more worthy of his tastes."

Lillian didn't say anything to either Joe or the unknown woman. But the woman's fiance returned to the table blocking the woman's view of their table. Shortly the people around them were whispering and sending judging looks at their table. When the waiter returned Lillian handed her menu back. "I'm not hungry." Her voice was weak and creaked but without warning she left the table and went outside in silence. Her heart was twisted and she felt sick to her stomach but with her on the street with vallets moving about her, one escorted her to a bench. Lillian sat there already hating the humans from the city but yet there were those who showed kindness. An old couple got out of an old model T, the old woman noticed Lillian and handed her a silk handkerchief.

Lillian looked to the old woman seeing her eyes sparkle with a soft smile. Before Lillian could give it back the old woman patted her shoulder then slipped inside with her husband.

Joe didn't say anything to the woman either. He sat there and waited for the menus. He hadn't expected Lillian to leave. Joe sighed and got up, thanking the waiter for his service and giving the woman a death stare on his way out. He found Lillian on a bench with a handkerchief in her hand. She looked incredible in the moonlight. He approached her slowly and sat by her side on the bench, wrapping one arm around her and pulling her close into a hug. "I should have known you wouldn't be used to a place like this." He said softly, kissing her cheek.

"I forgot how people can get sometimes, I just wanted to spend a nice evening with you." He ran his fingers gently down the side of her arm. He didn't want to talk about that terrible woman, he was sure Lillian knew Joe was in love with her and only her. "I still think you should wear this dress more often." He said, smiling at her as they sat on the bench, under the stars.

Lillian sat in silence as Joe joined her on the bench though she heard him speak about him wanting a nice evening but yet he didn't ask what would have been nice for her.

"Joe..." She said weakly with her holding on to the small piece of silk as if it was her life line. "This...This was a nice thought but this isn't us." she said as she looked at him with hurt eyes. "This is what humans do to show off what they have. I just saw an old couple driving up in an old car, an old one. Yet they were happy as can be together." She looked at the piece of silk in her hands. "They didn't have a care in the world."

Sitting there on the cold bench with Joe beside her as her mind was filled with thoughts which she tried to grasp but they soon disappeared and replaced with another. "Joe....Like I said this was a nice experience but this isn't us. How come you didn't ask what I thought would be a nice night out?"

"Mainly because I wanted to surprise you." He admitted. "Usually the guy surprises the girl by taking her out to a nice restaurant or something...I wanted that for you." He whispered and moved closer to her. "What would you have preferred, Lillian? I'd like to fix this mistake, if you'll let me."

Smiling as she leaned into him linking her fingers with his own. "I guess I'm the virgin with these dating situations." She said with a weak laugh. Her mood was picking up by now with her nuzzling him.

"How about a moonlight carriage ride?" One man said as he shifted his red vest. He blushed. "Sorry I over heard you two but we have a carriage that comes by ever hour. When winter comes the pond in the park freezes over for ice skating and they tend to have ice sculpting contests and snowball fights." He said with Lillian looking to Joe.

"How about it? A horse drawn carriage ride for the two of us. This is a wonderful surprise." Lillian smiled at him.
